Imagine you are having a terrible softhearted week and you feel disappointed and unhappy and you want something to cheer you up. A good idea is to watch Pretty Woman!!!
But since tv and I have been divorced, the best thing to do is to pick up a Jerilee Kaye book!!!
And it was a beautiful romance read!!! Charming characters to swoon over, enticing plot, full of emotions and string family ties-some bad and some great.

Although I loved it, I found it rather lengthy, all those issues between Julianne and Jin could have been clarified much sooner.
Also, I was wondering why the hero never used protection with the heroine, since he wasn’t celibate and the heroine was supposed to be a dirty slut.
While he was allergic to nuts, he had hazelnut coffee???...

I don’t know what the author’s plans are regarding this series, but I would love to read River’s story❣️

3.5 stars ⭐️.
I love LOVE Jerilee Kaye. Some of her books are by go to- comfort books but sadly this wasn’t the case here.
From the first chapter itself I wasn’t amused with the heroine. Past 3rd chapter, she was officially in my hit list.
Somany of her actions were stupid. I can’t believe I’m saying this about a Jerilee kaye heroine, as she usually makes them brave, sweet and independent.
Here, heroine was independent but where hero was concerned almost all the decisions she made was idiotic. Her excuses weren’t believable. She was also a cry baby.
I don’t want to give away the spoilers so not going to do in-depth review.
Hero was a sweetheart. He fought and fought for his love both in separation and second chance meeting. I loved him. He was also the main pursuer. He wasn’t celibate during separation after 5 years. (Separation time was 7 years, and that irked me too).
The potential with the kid wasn’t explored well it was almost like an afterthought. I hope I’m making sense!

There were many twists and loved the fast pace and secondary characters of the story.
Recommended.

I received an ARC of All the Wrong Places a month ago from the author Jerilee Kaye and I'm really glad I had the opportunity to read it.

All the wrong places will make you believe in the phrase "love triumphs", it will take you back to the love that you lost, it will test you, mend you and at the same time question your take on love, it will make you want to rewrite your own failures & revist all the wrong choices.

The book has the essense to drape you in a blanket and provide you a warm shelter one that makes your heart come back to life, you wouldn't want to stop once you read the first line or the first chapter. It will magnetize your tired mind to keep reading, to keep going, to know how the story develops & what happens next and trust me there are a lot of twist & turns so don't expect this book to be like any other romance story, this one is special in every aspect.

We get a glimpse into the life of Ian and Jin, their respective life and the turn of events that makes them face each other at some point which creates a bunch of complications and a sense of longing and certain twisty turns, like always this book also has the charming Jerilee Kaye rollercoaster ride with all the emotion, the fun & the family dynamic at its best. It will keep your heart ecstatic & will keep your eyes moist, It will make you love each and every character not just the two main because like always Jerilee Kaye has developed each character with the essence of perfection & given them their own universe one that she happily dwells into.

We also get to read a lot about the characters from All The Wrong Reasons and trust me you would love to see how far along they have come, we also get few surprises which I can't name so I'm really hoping that you do read this book to relive the different book characters lives.

You certainly don't need to be a die heart romantic fanatic to pick this book up, take this book as a way of understanding, a way to escape a lonely tired day, a reason to make your heart feel full & happy, take this book to glance at love in a more exquisite manner and trust me once you read it you will love it, cherish it and cry over it.

The story of Julianne has a lot of ups and downs but it surely makes you connect and love her all the more ❤️ Please go and purchase the amazing book, I can't wait to have my own paperback ❤️

From the very start when Jin was introduced to us in All the Wrong Reasons, I wanted to read his story, to know that amazing, kind and loyal man's story. A bravo to author, she hasn't dissapointed me, Jin had an amazing story to tell and he told his story beautifully. This was the story of lust, mistunderstanding, betrayal and love, everlasting love. Amazingly well written plot, well structured characters. I enjoyed the story immensly.

I love how the love interest in the book is introduced but remains a mystery in the book and defintely makes you continue reading. Also i love how adrienne and justin were brought in so early.I was very looking foward to meet Jas again and i knew where. And i was right. I fell in love with him he is perfect. I dont blame anyone who would fall fe
for him.
The book will make u scream, shout and cry but also fall in love with every characther. I love it how justin and Adrienne remain a big part of the story...i do think i love jas more. Think! Not sure i do see brant daughtry as Jas and amanda seyfried as Ian. There is 1 little man in the story. Who will totally win over your heart. he is amazing. The suspense in the story about what will happen next and when big events will happen will totally entertain you. I love how this book is very detailed. In my opinion more detailed then her other books. Especially erotic...i love that.
The mystery continues you will keep wondering when will it happen ?
But it was worth the wait. Everything was revealed so beautiful. My heart was satisfied but the suspense won't stop. You'll keep wondering what happen next.

The story is beautifully written. The build up is amazing. It might be my favorite now. It used to be kiss. I want to know more!!!

I also like how other characthers of your books are mentioned in it. I alnost cried when i read about rafe.
The end was very satisfying and emotional. I'm happy to be 1 of the first fans to have read it on radish.
now it's time to get my own copy

Good story.

7 year separation.
No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
Heroine is engaged when she meets the Hero but she has met her intended twice, disliked him both times. It is a business arrangement made by her father whether she wants it or not.
Tortured Hero over heroine leaving after initial ONS.
Hero is cruel to the heroine on remeeting not knowing all the circumstances of her broken off engagement and pregnancy.
Hero says he 'dated' during separation though he went to great lengths first to find the heroine after she left. He is about to enter an arranged marriage for business advancements with another woman when the heroine reenters his life.
Heroine hasn't dated again.

Firstly, I am wondering why there are so many 5* reviews from people who hardly have any books in their bookshelf, or they just joined GR recently. So, I suppose most of them may not be real reviews.

That being said. I do enjoy this book a lot. I like the writing style although there are a few editing mistakes which could be avoided easily.

I don't want to go into the story. But the stubbornness from the Heroine made me rolled my eyes.

I believe at one point, the Heroine tried to kill the Hero - the Hero has nut allergy, not sure how serious it should be. But the Heroine cooked pasta with pesto sauce and made a Hazelnut coffee for him? LOL

Ugh, I really didn't like the heroine here...
She was immature and stupid.
Seven years ago, right before entering an arranged marriage, she decided to go to Paris to have a free time for the last time. She met a guy, Jas Mathieu and kind of fell in love with him and got pregnant so arranged marriage is canceled and her rich family disowned her.
Luckily for her, all her cousins are uber rich so they take care of her but they want to beat the guy who got her preggers. She NEVER told her family that she was the one who left him after fake naming him and let them believe he was just an asshole who took advantage of her.
Charming lady, really -_-

Then, she finally meet him again and can't seem to realize that he too had a broken heart when she abandoned him and sneaked out of his apartment without explaination. Because everyone told him he was a heartless asshole, or should I say, BECAME an asshole suddenly one day in the past, she can't comprehend that the guy was also a victim!

I just removed his name because I don't want to spoil his identity since the author hid it in the beginining and it was a mystery to be uncovered, but this part shows how selfish Julianne is:
She was thankful that HE saved her from ANOTHER MAN's battery. But she also hated the fact that he sounded so vindictive, like he was out to punish her for what she did to him.
As if I would believe that he really was devastated about what I did to him.

Really? So you truly think you were the only one still pining for your love at first sight in Paris and he didn't?
Then she was selfish with her son, talking about how she doesn't need a man and Jared (her son) was the only ''man'' she needed and she would never tell his father about him. Girl...

Then when they are finally together, she'd rather listen to strangers than believing what he is telling her, how he is proving again and again his love to her. Really?

Finally, the 1st thing what really threw me off with that book was the fact that NO ONE figured out who the little boy's dad was. I mean come on! Jas Mathieu the fling from Paris was someone from her circle, the blurb says it. And little Jared was the carbon copy of his dad. Yet nobody from their circle never put 2 + 2 together? Give me a freaking break!!
The second: Jas Mathieu was a talented painter and could have made a realistic sketch of Julianne. I believe he did but Im not sure she kept it? Anyways he could have done it and have one of his wordwide detectives use it to find her... Again, since she was so rich you would believe her family thus her face was somehow famous right? Well, nope! Those uber riches with empire and private jets + mansions are apparently anonymous!
And the cherry on the sunday was how long the book was. The author will spend a full paragraph explaining things and giving extra details, yet she will repeat it in the next paragraph. Almost 600 pages...

All the wrong places take you on a ride where you cannot stop unless it reaches the end. Even if you manage to reach the end your heart won’t settle unless you read it again and again. A romance portrayed in a more realistic manner where the characters makes mistakes, take bad decisions, fight, love, care, express their jealousy, express egos and all humanly emotions. In that way it was easier for me to relate myself to the characters. The story does have a fairy tale essence to it, but it also reminds that each person’s journey is moulded by their own decisions along with it’s repercussions. The way the characters think and speak surely attaches you to them, making your heart flutter when they express their love, making your heart ache when they are in pain, making your heart care for them and also making you wish for them to be happy. The author always writes the characters in that way. In the book you stumble upon several familiar characters which makes the reading more fun and the reader gets to see them in a new shade. The book doesn't tell the entire story of other familiar characters but only snippets from their lives to reflect the depth of emotions. The book gives you hope, comfort, faith and all positive feelings brightening up your day. Loved the book and it has made to the top of my list of comfort books.

Destiny Intervened.

Julianne Sanders was arranged to be married to a man she only met twice and didn’t love. She went on one last adventure before being tired down in a loveless marriage in Paris under the name Arabella Adams. There she met a struggling paint Jas Matthieu who she fell in love with. After making love she left the next day only to discover a month later she was pregnant.

Fast forward 7 yrs and she is a single mother to 6 yr old Jared. When Julianne goes to Paris with her cousins to celebrate an engagement of her cousin’s wife’s brother she comes face to face with the handsome Jin Starck who happens to be her Jas...

I really loved the twists in this story and could not put this down. The theme of the book was definitely about believing in destiny and finding the person you belong with and how you can come back to each other even after years. Both Julianne and Jin were different people from when they first fell and love and they had to get to know each other all over again and overcome obstacles that include the past, present and future. Definitely a good read!

If only this story was made into a movie ♡

I was seriously so hooked to this book and literally couldn't sleep until I had a satisfactory end. To my horror, I ended up falling asleep nearing the end and as soon as I awoke I rushed to complete the rest. The ending wasn't the greatest. I think the first third of the book is where all the fun and entertainment is at.

My only criticism is how the story was unnecessarily prolonged, possibly in order to fill those pages, but sadly some scenes were just really unnecessary and even insignificant.

This could have had 5 stars. Except it wasn’t fair that while he was her first and only, he slept around with lots of women while still “loving her.” However her love for him included no other men, losing her name, inheritance, family, and raising their son on his own. His love was not equal to hers in the end. It doesn’t matter if he didn’t love the ones he slept with. She stayed celibate in her love and he could’ve too. Then he called her a hoe for the fact he thought she slept with another man before him even though he knew she had been a virgin while he slept around without a care after her.

The themes of the book were certainly up my alley, so I gave a star for that alone.

I loved how hot and moody the H was, so again another star.

But everything else felt a little too immature or wattpad-y to me. No complexity to the story, all the characters were so typical of their intended role - the mean-spirited father who bargained away his daughter for money, the male sibling/cousins who were the supportive muscle intent on guarding their sister/cousin, etc. It was like you took all the familiar tropes and placed them all in a book written by your 14 year old best friend.

I started reading the book last night and could not put it down.
The story took place about 10 years after Justin and Adrienne, the main characters from the previous book All the Wrong Reasons: When Something So Wrong Can Feel So Right!. It was really great to see that both Justin and Adrienne are still in love with each other even after a decade.

The focus on the book was on Justin's cousin Julianne AKA Ian and her quest to happily ever after. When I first started reading this, I was not sure how this relate to the previous book, as there was no mention of Julianne in the synopsis at all.

Julianne needed two weeks of vacation in Paris, her last hurrah before getting into an arranged marriage to Patrick. She met Jas in Paris, who she thought was poor artist and ended up having a one night stand with him. She left him after the deed as she was engaged to Patrick and was trying to protect Jas from both her family and Patrick. She ended up getting pregnant and disowned by her parents afterwards.

After 7 years, Jas turned out to be Adrienne's brother, Jin. When they first met in Paris, none of them used their real names; Jin wanted Julianne to like him for himself not his wealth, while she used Arabella Adams as instructed by Patrick and her family (AKA to not let her dalliances taint their family names). The main story was on how these two find their way back to each other.

I did not like the fact the she was suddenly pregnant and disowned afterwards, but I guess it was part of the plot to get the story moving. Somehow I did not really empathize with Julianne's character. The author kept on mentioning that she suffered through and through, but even after being disowned by her parents, she still had her cousins who supported her and I just could not empathize with her so called "sufferings". While trying to be the best single mother, she somehow ended up being a damsel in distress. I did not like the main characters as much as the previous book.

I like the overall plot, although I expected more drama, having read other books from the same author. I look forward to reading more books from this author.

"All the Wrong Places: Sometimes Destiny likes to play..." checks all of the boxes for romance readers. There is a whirlwind first meeting, a one-in-a-lifetime love, and a passion that lives on through the end. There are moments that will make you awww out loud and smile, and others that will make you want to roll your eyes at someone's stubbornness.

Although the book may be a little long, Kaye does a great job in the development of each character and their relationships. This can be a major issue for some romance writers who want the readers to believe love conquers all and then end up focusing too much on the couple's basic chemistry and not enough on how they make each other better as individuals. This book really takes its time to talk about their obstacles and how they need to overcome them before love can truly win. There are quite a few secrets and insecurities that become major themes throughout the story that also help to keep the plot rolling and keep the book away from obvious cliches.

You will get sucked into this romance from the prologue. It took me less than 24 hours to finish!
This book is defiantly staying on my bookshelf for future rereads. I also loved how she peppered in a few characters from her previous books. If you love any of Jerilee Kaye's past works, there is no doubt you'll fall in love with this one too.

This was the first book I read from the author and I enjoyed it very much.

There were things that I didn't like though. Such as Julianne's self-pity and her treatment of the hero. How could she think of him as a heartless monster when all he has shown her was love and adoration? She wasn't as likeable as I hoped but the hero more than made up for it. Also, I couldn't understand Ian's father or her mother. Were they really that evil? Did they not have an ounce of love for their princess whom they spoiled up until her "indiscretion"? It just didn't make any sense to me, especially her mother's spineless reaction to everything.

The dialogue was kinda weird though or unrealistic, like I don't really think people talked like that. Also with the pinching. It was like that with All the Wrong Reasons and it was still like that here. What is with these women constantly pinching their love interests? It was like these grown women were in high school or something.

Now, I know I gave this a high rating despite of me ranting above about what I didn't like. But I guess I enjoyed the story so much that I had to give it 4.5stars. Probably also because of how much I loved Jas that he made up for everything I didn't like about Ian.

I received the advanced readers copy of All the Wrong Reasons a month ago. It took me a day too finish the novel. It's just unputdownable.

The story is so engrossing. Jerilee Kaye is the master of unexpected plot twists and knows how to keep the readers hooked.

The story feels so real and relatable. You will see yourself finding similarities with the main characters and understand their emotions, thought process and feelings.

I loved the way how everything shaped up at the end. The minute details and attention given to rather simple things makes the book come alive. The book made me feel satiated yet craving for more.

I just can't wait to get myself my very own paper back. So if you are a sucker for romance novel, go make All the Wrong Places your summer read.

Also it's a spin-off and not a sequel to All the Wrong Reasons. So you don't necessarily need to have read All the Wrong Reasons before in order to understand the story and it's characters.

Swoony, heartfelt, and absolutely incredible! A beautiful story of fighting for love, overcoming the odds, believing in yourself, and learning it's ok to accept help from the people that love you.

All the feels for this book. Jerilee has once again written an amazing, swoony, melt your heart hero! Ladies...he is EVERYTHING and so persistant. She takes you through the emotional ups and downs of these incredible characters and their journey back to each other while also tugging at your sexy, romantic heartstrings along the way.

Definitely recommend to readers looking for an incredible story with some fun plot twists, a super swoony hero, a strong independent heroine, and amazing secondary characters (some who have met before 😉)

Well, this is a very Jerilee Kaye-y novel. You've read one - you've read them all.
Fortunately, I did see a bit of growth in her writing this book, her characters not so raw, plot not as brutal and careless.
Unfortunately, the characters had no character. They were nobody and anybody at the same time. There wasn't a character with distinct voice. All the men sounded the same and also all the women. The descriptions were the same as any other book she wrote, the same limited vocabulary and phrases. The father was "evil" for the sake of drama alone, without logic to his character.
A lot of dramatisation.

If you like her novels you would like this one too (because they are all the same).

Tiene la misma temática y puntos clave que el anterior, como:
Personaje femenino virgen e inocente

Exhilarating! A kind of story that you can’t stop reading till the end and then come back and re-read over and over again!

Jerilee Kaye did it again! Another inspiring novel that takes the readers to another dimension where each and every words come alive as your read. This time around JK didn’t hold back on the love scenes.. very vivid yet tastefully done. Lustfully classy if I mag say!

I’m one of the few people who’d been given an advance copy which I am very grateful for! It’s a privileged that talented writers consider the views of her readers. I will surely buy a hard bound copy since just like the previous and all novels of JK — ATWP is worth the time and money spent...!

Since this is all about destiny, it is expected that it was kind of like how ATWR. The first chapter alrealy caught my attention, It has a plot that I already expected but still hit like hell, it has flaws, but it didn't really go with the chase but still endded well. The author gave a life to those characters and made a reader feel like he/She is really in their shoes, hope she writes more!

I love the book, hope I can get the hardcopy soon!

Tip: When dealing with destiny, always trust the process.

I just finished All the Wrong Reasons (When something so wrong can feel so right) and bought this book the same day I finished that one. Downloaded the Kindle version from Amazon. I loved this book, like with the first, had a hard time putting it down. Though there were plenty of tears with both books, some anger tears in this book with Ian's family. Now looking forward to the 3rd book in the series, "Somewhere in the Middle" which I assume will be out next year, I'll just have to be patient.
