This book is awful. For a supposed guide, it tells you little or nothing. In fact, at one point the author said, "I could tell you, but I won't!" He makes it sound like he won't tell you because he wants you to figure it out yourself and in doing so you'd have a better experience, but to me that's just another way to say, "I don't know how!" Why write a guide book if you're not willing to tell people how something is done?

The writing is unprofessional and the content is sorely lacking. Each "chapter" is only a page or two long, yet this is supposed to tell people how to work with this system? Hardly any instruction is given. Everything is mentioned, but then rushed through, as if the author is actually afraid to explain it, if he actually even knows how to do it in the first place and this isn't just a show for him.

If you're interested in Norse shamanism or seidr, don't bother with this. If you're serious, this just isn't useful at all. Not recommend.

“I am a UPG dude”. Good old fashioned honesty ! Thank you dear author.

This book was a pleasure to read. It dives straight into the matter and presents us with many practical exercises.

The chapter : “Contemporary Seidr and Agape” is unnecessary in my opinion.

Agape is not a Germanic concept as far as I understand it. It sounds foreign to me. But if anyone can, in a non-hostile way, explain me that it does, then I will stand corrected.

All in all a very nice book that I will most definitely reread. And I recommend it to all Heathens and Asatruar.

Interesting 🤔

This book did pose some interesting perspectives and concepts. It suggests that you practice while reading. I just read through it all to get a good grasp on what it was and I can see myself returning to practice while reading it again.

This book has been instrumental in my Seiðr journey. I often find myself going back to it and the basics. It's good to always check yourself and ensure the work isn't getting sloppy in any areas. For years I had this as an ebook and only recently got a physical copy and to truly have it in my hands is incredible. Highly highly recommend to all level of Seiðr workers. Keep in mind that this is full of UPG. Please read sources and other books before diving into this one but it will certainly help shape your practice. He gets straight to the point!
