According to the Quran, a person’s life has been divided into two phases: the pre-death period and the post-death period. The present life is only temporary and is meant as a test. Depending upon our performance in this test, we shall be judged in the eternal life after death. The Quran aims to make one aware of this reality and help one lead one’s life in this world in such a way that one is rewarded with Paradise in the life Hereafter.
I dedicated reading this book during the holy month of Ramadan.
Over almost 400 pages, the book is dedicated to providing the wisdom out of the verses of the Quran. However, the book is more of a collection of articles by the author with no apparent sequence or linkage between its chapters.
Chapters are shallow, superficial, and are bound to a lot of recurrence and repetition. It could be more useful for kids although I don’t see an established benefit that could be reaped out of the context.
Also, I trust there are a numerous implications that calls for being submissive and passive, especially when it comes to topics on Jihad and politics.
The author clearly is an advocate of the “Cute Islam” version that certain parties call for and try to pervade.
Two stars for some of the reminders that deems positive and constructive.
I'm too grateful to the almighty that i find the book. It opened a new window for me. I found the wisdom of Quran in a magnificent way. A must read book to everyone to learn Quran.
