4.5 stars!!
I’m going to start off with a bit of honesty here… Stacia has always been my least favorite in this series and don’t even get me started about my dislike of Pace throughout these books… So as much as I love this series as a whole and this author's books, I was a bit nervous to read this. No one was more surprised as me that not only did I love the book, that by the end, I completely loved both Stacia AND Pace. Yes. I said it. By the end of the book, I loved Pace.
Stacia is known in this series as the friend who is the self-proclaimed ‘cheer slut’ or ‘quarterback chaser’. She wants nothing more in life than to live the comfortable way that a famous quarterback’s wife would live. And she’s on track to make that dream her reality. Until she realizes, that’s not her dream anymore. Stacia wants the love her friends have. She also wants something for herself for the first time. Stacia and her ex-boyfriend, Pace Larson, have a tumultuous relationship. They’ve been over since Pace did something unforgivable to her. But it’s still there. That spark between them that she’s never had with anyone else.
I was a little leery of Pace’s motives through the first part of the book, because, quite frankly, I didn’t trust him. He had to prove himself to Stacia and readers alike. I’m happy to report that he did. Pace isn’t perfect. He makes mistakes, he’s got a certain way about him, but with Stacia, he’s different. He’s devoted, kind, and even lovable. I was also impressed with Stacia’s character and her growth in Silver. She’s so much more than the airhead cheerleader you may think her to be. I loved her drive and desire. There were many times she could have taken the easy road, but she worked for what she got. It was important to her and I admired her for that.
Pace and Stacia are friends throughout this book, but so much more. There is a lot brewing between them and when it finally comes to fruition, Stacia realizes she may want more with Pace again. That just maybe, Pace really is worthy of a second chance with her.
Silver is the fourth and final book in the ‘All that Glitters’ series, and I have to say- I’ll miss these characters. This series has the perfect amount of angst, but it is so much more than just an angsty read. It’s got a great blend friendship, love, loyalty, and determination. These friends feel like family. I highly recommend this to fans of this series. And if you haven’t read the rest of these books, get on it. They’re fantastic. 4.5 stars!

That kiss was…everything. Possessive and demanding and needy and caring and forceful and desperate. It made her want to go back to that moment and relive it in slow motion over and over again. To feel that wanted once more.

Readers of this series were shocked when the resident cheer slut, Stacia, went after her best friend, Bryna’s, stepbrother, Pace Larson. Pace is best known for pushing buttons and making Bryna’s life miserable once he stepped foot at LV State. Pace is real type character in this story. He’s not perfect, in fact he’s pretty far from it. Pace is the school’s new starting quarterback who has a sarcastic manner and though their relationship fell apart months ago, it seems he’s harboring some legit feelings for Stacia Palmer.
Stacia reveals to the reader that she has been playing a part the past years. She’s gone from one quarterback of the school’s team to the other. She’s a cheerleader and the sexual assertive voice of this series’ trio of best friends. In this book, she finds herself with everything she’s every wanted in Marshall, a hot quarterback heading for the pros, and realizes it’s not what she’s wants after all.

Stacia makes some big changes and as a result she losses somethings that she thought were important to her and gains a whole lot of wonderful things she can be proud of. Yet, Pace Larson can’t stay away and the two are simply combustible together.

Pace and Stacia slowly build a friendship and work on past issues that originally broke them apart while constantly dodging the haters, the rumors, and some hard truths. The story has a bit of drama (haha), and is well paced, and written. K.A. Linde showed that she knows the ins and outs of the game of football while making this couple’s journey to their hea anything but easy!

Reading this book was bittersweet for me. It’s the last book in the All That Glitters series, which I have loved, but it’s also Stacia and Pace’s story and I have been dying to read this one!
I know most of my friends don’t agree with me, but I have always had a soft spot for Pace. I guess I have understood where he was coming from and the person in me who always searches for the best has always hoped his intentions were good. To find out if I am just a big sucker or not you'll have to read Silver. LOL
Just a little background if this is your first All That Glitters book. Stacia is football royalty, it’s in her blood. Her dad is a coach, her brother is a quarterback and she has been dating quarterbacks for as long as she can remember. Landing herself an NFL quarterback has been her dream for as long as she can remember. When the story begins it’s Draft Day and her quarterback boyfriend is about to be drafted into the NFL. Stacia should be happy, everything is playing out just like she planned, but she feels trapped and just wants out.
A little background on Pace. He is Bryna’s stepbrother and archenemies, he is also the current quarterback for their university. Pace and Stacia had a little fling back in the day, but he ended up sleeping with someone else. These two's story is complicated and messy, so it takes a long time for things to really come out in the open. However, it didn’t feel like miscommunication or drawn out. It just worked for them, because a lot had to happen for these two finally see where the other is coming from and develop trust again.
I obviously loved reading about Pace and Stacia. They fight hard but love harder. I absolutely LOVED how these two decided to go against the rumors and their friends and try to work it out. I loved how determined Pace was to fight for Stacia. I also seriously loved above all how Stacia found her worth. I swear this girl who I used to find weak, turned out to be my favorite. I love how this story was more than about romance, but also finding value in yourself. I love how she was determined to succeed and change her life.
I love Linde’s books, that’s no secret. I actually loved this entire series, because it’s Mean Girls meets Gossip Girl, two things I love. The girls are catty, popular and super rich, but I could also find qualities that were relatable in each character and in the end I fell in love with this crazy group of girls. If you haven’t started this series you absolutely should!!

Oh, shit. It’s about to get real up in here. I wanted Stacia and Pace’s story. I wanted it bad. But I was scared to death to read it. If you’ve read a K.A. Linde book you know what I mean!
Although this can be read as standalone, for those that have been reading along with the All That Glitters Series, we’ve watched this relationship form and fall apart. We’ve hated Pace through the books and I knew if anyone was going to get me to change my feelings about him, it was this author.
Stacia is so close to having everything she’s always wanted. She’s at the draft, her boyfriend is getting ready to be selected to play pro-ball, but suddenly it all seems so empty. Starting over isn’t going to be easy for her though. Going back to college to finish her senior year wasn’t part of her plan. Nor was finding a new future to focus on.
When a few unfortunate events occur, Pace comes to the rescue. And although he is making a hard play to get his girl back, trust is something that can take time to rebuild. But has Pace really changed? Or has he just changed the game they are playing?
So I didn’t expect to like Pace so quickly. I wanted to make him work for it, but really caved almost immediately. Shame on me!!! But I loved the little twists this took, I loved that it fed my need for angst and it made me doubt myself and EVERYTHING.
Another stellar release from this author. Angst, characters you LOVE and characters you LOVE TO HATE. And I have to talk about Jude. I still am not over him. I still can’t quite hate him 100%. If you read this series and The Avoiding Series, Jude is like grown up Jack, had that story ended differently. All I kept thinking about when he came back into the story was that this douchebag could so be Jack ten years after Avoiding. So yeah, I just can’t bring myself to loathe him and would not be upset at all if he were to land a spot in a future book where he might just end up single and getting a taste of his own medicine.

Have you ever read a story that sinks itself into your soul from the start? Have you met a story that should be a soap opera because it’s that addicting—where you are so transfixed that you don’t want to stop turning the pages? Silver by K.A. Linde stole every piece of me in one incredible and intoxicating date of delicious drama. Silver struck me like lightning—hard and fast—where I was glued to this gem from its brilliant beginning to enticing end.
I only had to read a few pages before I knew that Silver was my new favorite story in this series, replacing Diamonds. Gasp!!! I know, right?!? Silver is my top gem in the All That Glitters saga. TOP GEM. I’ll give you THREE WORDS as to why Silver is the best book in this series for me: SECOND-CHANCE ROMANCE. Second-chance romances are my go-to gems and Silver by K.A. Linde is my new kryptonite.
A second-chance is so many things: a chance to start fresh, a chance to right those wrongs, a chance to find happiness, and, perhaps, a last chance. There is something special about second-chance love. Friendship that forms into something more. That slow burn of desire. The intimate knowledge of one another. Silver is that special second-chance love story that’s anchored by angst but laced with sweetness, steam, and swoon. Silver captivated and claimed me over and over again.
Stacia Palmer made her appearance as Bryna’s best friend in Diamonds, the first story in this sensational series. Beautiful, blonde, and blue-eyed, Stacia is a gold digger like Bryna was.

I walked into this story not a Stacia fan at all. The jersey-chasing gold digger seemed so shallow with not much under the surface. This young woman slept through her way of quarterbacks; a ball bunny. I deemed Stacia weak with her sole ambition of being an NFL quarterback’s wife though she was going to college to obtain her own degree.
Then K.A. wove her magic, morphing characters like Stacia that you can’t stand into ones that you can’t help but love. I WAS WON OVER FAST AND FURIOUSLY. K.A. Linde proved me wrong in thinking that Stacia was just smoke and mirrors; this captivating character captured my heart at less than five percent into Silver. Stacia soared into the spot of my favorite female of K.A. Linde’s in this sparkling series. I liked—no LOVED—this new Stacia.
Silver also spun me around by making me FALL IN LOVE TWICE. Pace Larson, Stacia’s previous love, is now her annoyance. With his golden hair and blue eyes, and tall and muscular build that makes women forget their own names, Pace is panty-melting HOT. He is also still hot for Stacia. I LIKED PACE BEFORE; I LOVED HIM NOW.
Pace is sick of playing the field…sick of playing games. Pace throws Stacia off her game, making her question her ill feelings towards him. Her attraction to this devastatingly beautiful man has never vanished. It’s time to finally claim the woman of his dreams, catch her and make her fall. Oh is Stacia starting to fall under Pace’s persuasive spell.
“God, is everything a joke to you?”
“Not everything.”
“Feels like it. I feel like a joke to you.”

The push and pull between Stacia and Pace was utterly intoxicating yet infuriating too. I wanted to push this quarreling couple together. Back and forth the pendulum swayed between them as Stacia and Pace would almost reconnect, then havoc would happen, breaking their almost-bond.
“Why do you have to do this, Pace? Why do you insist on forcing yourself into my life?”
“I already told you why. You can’t escape me. You can keep trying to run, but we’ll end up back together.”
That kiss Pace unexpectedly showered on Stacia was little in magnitude but big in meaning. That kiss was Pace persuading Stacia with all his power to make her his again.

OH. MY. SIZZLE AND SWOON. Pace is all-alpha and it’s insanely intense where I nearly fanned myself. I loved his determination as much as his domineering talk that warmed my body from head to toe. Pace’s dominance is as hot as the man himself.

My heart broke yet danced at the same time. Pace has toyed with Stacia’s emotions like a back-and-forth ball game. I wanted Stacia to give this starring quarterback a second chance, letting him score the touchdown of a lifetime. First love. First heartbreak. First sorrow. A love that never dies. Can the heart, once broken, trust again?

I came into Silver as anti-Stacy and slightly anti-Pace, but left loving these compelling and captivating characters like never before. I could not help but root for both of them to rekindle that passion where it would permeate to love.
I was drunk on this second-chance romance that sizzled with sweetness and swoon yet bled angst. Silver shone bright and flared in feels. My heart was hit with a hybrid of happiness and hurt. My soul soared and swooned. I lost myself in Silver as this spellbinding story grabbed me, wrapping itself around my heart, where I did not want to surface until the very end.
Silver is not just a story filled with swoon, sex, and shame. It's so much MORE. Silver is about second chances—changing your life and being your best self. Silver is a story of heartbreak and healing—with highs and lows—where my feels flung like a football down the field, and I FELL IN INSTA-LOVE.
This gem glitters in greatness. Achingly addicting like a soap opera, I left this super star of a story wanting more…needing more. Silver struck me hard and fast, and I knew from the start that it the cheapest gem in price would be the greatest one in value.

I LIKED PACE BEFORE; I LOVED HIM NOW.
Pace is sick of playing the field…sick of playing games. Pace throws Stacia off her game, making her question her ill feelings towards him. The push and pull between Stacia and Pace was utterly intoxicating yet infuriating too. I wanted to push this quarreling couple together. Back and forth the pendulum swayed between them as Stacia and Pace would almost reconnect, then havoc would happen, breaking their almost-bond.
“Why do you have to do this, Pace? Why do you insist on forcing yourself into my life?”
“I already told you why. You can’t escape me. You can keep trying to run, but we’ll end up back together.”
That kiss Pace unexpectedly showered on Stacia was little in magnitude but big in meaning. That kiss was Pace persuading Stacia with all his power to make her his again.
“I just wanted to remind you who you belong to. Don’t forget it.”
OH. MY. SIZZLE AND SWOON. Pace is all-alpha and it’s insanely intense where I nearly fanned myself. I loved his determination as much as his domineering talk that warmed my body from head to toe. Pace’s dominance is as hot as the man himself.
“If I don’t stand up for myself, who is going to?”

My heart broke yet danced at the same time. Pace has toyed with Stacia’s emotions like a back-and-forth ball game. I wanted Stacia to give this starring quarterback a second chance, letting him score the touchdown of a lifetime. First love. First heartbreak. First sorrow. A love that never dies. Can the heart, once broken, trust again?

There are not many stories and series where you see the characters evolve from ones you can’t stand to ones you can’t help but love. K.A. Linde is a magician at turning characters you love to hate into ones you just love. I came into Silver as anti-Stacy and slightly anti-Pace, but left loving these compelling and captivating characters like never before. I could not help but root for both of them to rekindle that passion where it would permeate to love.
I was drunk on this second-chance romance that sizzled with sweetness and swoon yet bled angst. Silver shone bright and flared in feels. My heart was hit with a hybrid of happiness and hurt. My soul soared and swooned. I lost myself in Silver as this spellbinding story grabbed me, wrapping itself around my heart, where I did not want to surface until the very end.
Silver is not just a story filled with swoon, sex, and shame. It's so much MORE. Silver is about second chances—changing your life and being your best self. Silver is a story of heartbreak and healing—with highs and lows—where my feels flung like a football down the field, and I FELL IN INSTA-LOVE.
This gem glitters in greatness. Achingly addicting like a soap opera, I left this super star of a story wanting more…needing more. Silver struck me hard and fast, and I knew from the start that it the cheapest gem in price would be the greatest one in value.

The Queen of Angst has struck again!!!
This book has definitely became my second favorite of the series after "Gold." This book was an emotional roller coaster and I THROUGHLY enjoyed the ride. Stacia and Pace have both come along way since we first met them in "Diamonds" and that's what I loved the most. They matured. They grew. They went after their goals and chased their dreams. Seeing Stacia taking her academic career seriously was refreshing. Pace grew up a lot as well and really redeemed himself with me. Lord knows I love me a good redeemable jerk! Stacia and Pace, the chemistry and passion they had just oozed off my kindle screen. I haven't felt this way about a couple since Lexi and Jack (my favorite Linde couple) the back and forth, the screw ups, the doubts. This book also had some twist and turns that I didn't see coming at all! Linde really outdid herself with this book. I am so sad this series has come to an end. Seeing all the characters grow and mature over the years just made me smile. Perfect ending to a fantastic series!

I love a good sports romance. I love a second chance romance, especially the brutally heartbreaking kind where some awful deception tore the pair apart in the first place. I love a jerk, an arrogant, pushy, jock type jerk that won't take no for an answer. And I love KA Linde-level angst, the caliber of frustration and fury and sexual tension exclusive only to this author. Silver delivers all the things I love in one sparkly, dirty, emotional package and I couldn't put it down.
"I blame myself for losing you,” he said.
She couldn’t argue with him on that. “I was yours to lose.”
There were some things in this book I had issues with, some bits of dialogue that felt unnatural, some character aspects that bugged me. Stacia isn't always the most relatable character. She can actually be kind of a brat at times. Her reactions to some over the top situations are often overly dramatic and that gave me pause at times. But this story is more than Stacia's romance. It's very much a story of her growth, her self discovery, the unearthing of her true self once the superficial crap she thought defined her is stripped away. So at the end of the day, those things that I took issue with are things that only irked me because I'm THAT reader, the picky one that gets tripped up by tiny details that wouldn't bug anyone else. And even considering all those little things, Silver is still one of my favorite books in this series.
Pace was never a character I particularly cared for in the past and Stacia was a girl that drove me a little nuts with her immaturity and her spoiled, superficial personality. But Silver takes these characters through a transformation, both as individuals and as a couple, showing the reader different sides of them as they grow and change and discover what they really want. And together, they become completely magnetic characters that I grew totally invested in. This book has some of the most swoony lines, some of the most romantic moments, some of the sexiest scenes, some of the hottest sexual tension, and it all evolves fluidly with an undercurrent of angst that I just live for. As far as KA Linde books go, this is one of my favorites.

Well shit...Linde did it again!!
From book one I told the author that I hated these two characters. HATED them both. She just laughed at me (something she does often) and told me to just wait.
Well y'all, I liked them. I liked their story. It wasn't easy. They took me on a rollercoaster where I wanted to shake them, slap them, then finally give them a high five.
Was it my favorite? well Platinum holds a special place in my heart so it's a close second.

So, I glanced through other people's reviews before writing mine. Just to see what they thought of Pace cause quite honestly I could not stand him. Apparently he's been a jerk through most of the series (which I have not read), but most people liked him by the end of this book. I thought he was a jerk. I get the whole miscommunication with Stacia when they broke up and he slept with Madison (and don't get me started on her). But what he planned to do and never told her that his feelings had changed and let everyone keep believing that he was going to still go through with it? NO! There would have been no getting over that if I were Stacia. There were some moments of him that showed a lovable, caring side, but the betrayal of what he planned and his not stopping it vetoed those moments for me.
Now, on to Stacia. I really wondered if I'd like her at first. I mean, she refers to herself as a "cheer slut" and she's finishing her junior year in college and just taking English 102. But I loved how she grew in here. She learned that she needed to grow up and make her own way to find happiness. You find out she wasn't always the way she portrays herself now. I hate that she hid her true self from her closest friends, but was glad to see them support her when she started finding out what she really wanted in life.
The writing was fantastic and even though I didn't like Pace, this was well written enough that I kept turning pages :) And yes, it can be read as a stand alone because I had no problem catching on. I'm curious about Bri and may go back and read her story cause she's something else!

K.A. Linde makes gold with the last book in her Glitter series, SILVER! I'm sad this series is over. It was so much fun to follow three spoiled rich girls on their college journey and watch them turn into fabulous, kicka$$ women. Silver, which is Stacia and Pace's, OMG swoon Pace, story. I absolutely love this couple. I don't know if it was because Pace is a football quarterback (I'm a sucker for a football story) or because it was the last story of the series but there was something that reeled me in and had me so invested in Stacia and Pace. Linde created such passion and a push/pull between the Stacia and Pace. I couldn't get enough. The sexual tension was off the hook but it was more than that. Pace's need for Stacia oozed from the pages and Stacia wasn't immune to it either.
I loved the growth in all the characters in Silver. Bryna, especially. And the relationship between Bryna, Stacia and Trihn was fun to read about. They were a solid trio who were loyal and always had each other's back.
Did I mention how much I loved reading about Pace? In the beginning of the series, I wasn't so sure about him but in Silver I claimed him as mine. His smart mouth and obnoxious ways were sexy, endearing and made for the perfect book boyfriend.
K.A. Linde isn't called the Queen of Angst for nothing. She's able to write a story that is always relatable and has you cheering for the characters, even the ones who aren't that nice. (Remember Jack from the Avoiding series?). Silver was no different. I shed a tear, I laughed and I think my reader just about caught fire with the sexy sex.
*sigh* Pace is one of my top book boyfriends sitting right next to Brady Maxwell (K.A. Linde's other series, The Record Series).
Definitely get this TBR on your list or better yet one-click your copy and meet Pace Larson.

The perfect finale to the All that Glitters series.
This book reminded me of days gone by from our very own angst queen. It felt good to be reunited with feelings that I haven’t seen in a book for awhile. And when I talk about feelings I’m talking about all the what if’s and the I don’t know’s. The passion and intensity in which the author wrote this couple's story were fantastic.
We have had Pace always somewhere on the sidelines causing all kind of drama and being his smart-ass self in this series. So when it’s time for his up front and center I had all sorts of concerns. I thought for sure that I would not like him at all, and at first, I thought to myself yeah I was right. This guy is a total jerk. However, I must give credit where it is due. The author knows how to lead us into temptation, and deliver us from evil. No really HA! I had to say that because let me tell you. Pace is fierce in this novel.
Stacia has always been let’s just say the dumb cheerleader girl who just has dreams of marrying an NFL quarterback, Or so everyone thinks, but she has never really been dumb she just thought she was supposed to play a part. We see glimpses in the past novels that have Pace and Stacia hooking up here and there, but we don’t know the whole story. At least not yet. I did like that Stacia had growth, and that she was fooling us all along. She scrambled at first to find her place, and like all good strong heroines she rose up and above everything to try and find herself. In the process, she found herself with Pace. Again. Yep and down the rabbit hole she went.
I’ll leave my assessment of the characters and their story there. I don’t want to spoil anything about it. It was a real treat to read it, and I found myself at the end too quickly. If you want an angst driven story filled with a heroine who rises from the bottom, then this is the book for you.

Linde has written another rip your heart out, shred it to pieces, stomp on it, then put it back together again book that this book whore will not soon forget. Silver is everything I have come to expect from Ms. Linde. Now if you haven’t read the other books in the series don’t worry, you can totally read Silver as a standalone but personally since I love all of her books I would say read the others when you have time because you don’t want to miss out on some amazing books.
Stacia will really make you change your views of who she is in Silver, and I will be honest I hadn’t previously liked her character at all but that started to change with Silver and in the end I really did like who she had become. Pace, well I wanted to nut punch him a couple of times but that is an ongoing occurrence with K.A. Linde’s books and she knows cause I am usually telling her that’s what I want to do to her male assholes, I mean characters.
Silver is one of my favorite books this year so far, and I can’t wait for more of K.A. Linde’s books in the future even if it means feeling like I have been ran over by a semi when I am done from the angst.

This book had me on a roller coaster of emotions. I've come to love all of these characters through out this series but Stacia has now become my favorite. Her growth was tremendous. I was so proud of who she became in this book. This was a beautiful story about growth, love, and finding where you fit in the world. I loved it.

4 dramatic stars!

This is so not my typical read, but I have to tell you, I’m really glad I took a chance on this book and this series. Silver was so unexpected. It pulled me in from page one and it was impossible to not get drawn into the drama of Pace and Stacia’s story. Pace and Stacia’s story is one of those that is going to push and pull at you. Their story is filled with drama and angst, right and wrong. You will find yourself rooting for them one minute and hating them the next. And I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, some of the drama and back and forth was a bit over the top, but for me, it was pretty refreshing since, I usually don’t read this types of books.
Overall, I found this to be a quick and enjoyable read. This story made me laugh and swoon. It frustrated me and made me want to shake my kindle a few times. But, in the end, this story won me over with its sexiness and misunderstandings. I enjoyed every second of this second chance romance and look forward to going back and checking out the previous books in this series.

Their story is filled with drama and angst, right and wrong. You will find yourself rooting for them one minute and hating them the next. And I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, some of the drama and back and forth was a bit over the top, but for me, it was pretty refreshing since, I usually don’t read this types of books.
Overall, I found this to be a quick and enjoyable read. This story made me laugh and swoon. It frustrated me and made me want to shake my kindle a few times. But, in the end, this story won me over with its sexiness and misunderstandings. I enjoyed every second of this second chance romance and look forward to going back and checking out the previous books in this series.

Full review to come, but I just have to say, these two might be kicking my number one favorite KA Linde couple out of the number one spot in my heart!!! This book was gripping and so emotional.
I am going to need to take a day to write it a review worthy of the words Kyla delivered on these pages....
I simply adore everything Kyla has written, and Silver just jumped to the top of my favorites of her books. I was extremely hesitant going in. Extremely. Having the history of Pace from the first books of the series, how he treated Bryna and his overall character was someone I was confident there was no way she could turn my opinion of him around. Let me tell you, I was so wrong and so blown away by Stacia and Pace in Silver.
We finally get Stacia’s story in Silver, one I’ve been waiting for since book one and I loved seeing both of these two grow into who they were meant to be. They both have grown exponentially from Diamonds and I was so glad I got to witness their journey. From the beginning we’ve know Stacia is a jersey chaser and has an end game of snagging the one that will provide for her. Once she is in that moment however, completed her goal, she doesn’t know if that is actually what she wants anymore.
She finds herself back face to face with Pace and everything is put into question when her desire for him is so overwhelming, but her heart just doesn’t know if she can handle the heartbreak she has experienced from him before. Their past is full of secrets they have both been keeping, but when the passion between them ignites again, Stacia tries her hardest to force him away and guard her heart. Pace will stop at NOTHING to get her back and you can truly see how he’s changed over the years; and for the better. I absolutely loved this story and how they had to overcome so many dark secrets from their past to get them to where they were destined to be. It was a great evolution of how a person can change from who they were, no matter how awful and bad, into someone that is now at the top of my book boyfriends Kyla has ever written.
I am so sad this series is over, but was so glad to see all the characters again, even the ones I never want to see again!

Stacia is the ditzy girl amongst her group of girlfriends. She's had one goal and one goal only. To marry a first round drafted quarterback and her dreams are about to come true with her current boyfriend, Marshall until she realizes this isn't the life she wants. Stacia wants more out of life and isn't the ditz everyone thinks she is. She finally chooses a major and starts working hard to achieve something she really wants. Insert Pace Larson, he's the ex-boyfriend for a reason even if he's the best lay Stacia's ever had.
"The last time he had kissed her like that—scratch that. He’d never kissed her like that. And it certainly hadn’t been anything close to that in almost a year. That kiss was…everything. Possessive and demanding and needy and caring and forceful and desperate. It made her want to go back to that moment and relive it in slow motion over and over again. To feel that wanted once more."
When Stacia finds herself in trouble financially, Pace comes to her rescue. Pace wants one thing and one thing only...to make Stacia his again but Stacia knows better than to fall for Pace ever again. That ship has sailed. Now it's Stacia's turn to find true happiness and she finds it in the place least expected. Silver is a quick fun read, but if I have to be honest, it's my least favorite in the series. I really enjoyed it but I think Trihn will always be my favorite of the 3 girlfriends. I was pleasantly surprised Stacia had a brain and wasn't as dumb and she liked people to think. I was also pleasantly surprised Pace wasn't the douchcanoe he portrayed in previous books in this series. I actually grew to like him and I've learned that Ms. Linde knows exactly how to redeem a character. One thing I've come to expect is a ton of angst in Ms. Linde's books and I have to admit, Silver had the least amount of angst in the series. I think I go into her books expecting the worst and when I just kept waiting and waiting, I found myself a little disappointed that my heart wasn't ripped out, lol. Nothing against the book at all, I did really like it and recommend it to all my book loving friends and if you hate a lot of angst, then this is the perfect book for you ;-)

5 Pace stars!
K.A. Linde is a 1-click auto buy author for me. Her writing meets and exceeds my expectations. And Silver is absolutely no different. Silver is book 4 in her stand-alone series. Each book is about a different character. I went out of order a little bit and haven't read 2 of the books. I didn't get the back story with Stacia and Pace completely, but I got a little bit in Platinum.
Stacia is considered the jersey chasing cheer slut. She doesn't let anyone think any different, but it's time for her to grow up. She realizes this during the draft pick standing next to her boyfriend Marshall. It's time for a change in her life.
Pace and Stacia have history, a lot of bad history with a little bit of good thrown in. So when Pace starts to actively pursue Stacia again, how long can she hold him off? And as with any Linde book, we have tons of angst! There were several times I wanted to strangle both Pace and Stacia!! And another returning theme in Linde's writing is the #QueenBitch, only this ones name is Lindsey.
K.A. Linde has proven she can write anything and evoke every emotion possible while reading. Damon from Platinum is still my favorite H of this series but Pace is a close second!

Unlikable characters
I actively disliked this book and its characters. The h, who was pretty awful, supposedly changed and was no longer solely focused on being a Quarterback's wife, but it's never explained why. And the fact that everyone accepted that it was her dream, and was onboard with her life plan was horrifying. No one thought to mention to her how ridiculous she was.
Both the H & h were shallow and I never felt there connection. With a straight face, the author kept adding to their ridiculousness as the story progressed. I guess the corker for me was learning the h legally changed her name when she turned 18 from Stacy to Stacia. That was it for me; what a privileged, useless, ridiculous girl.
The H wasn't much better. He was rude,mean, and harsh.
They deserved each other.

Nope. Nope. Nope. Can't do it. I gave it ten chapters and it's just too bad to go on. This book is every bad contemporary romance cliche thrown into one place. I don't know what was worse - the over dramatics in the dialogue, the lead character calling herself a 'cheer slut' over and over again or the fact that we are supposed to swoon when the male lead tells her 'you belong to me' over and over again. (Look, I'm all for a slightly possessive lead character when there is chemistry but here there was none).
I really tried to plow through, but I just couldn't.

Satisfying ending to a fun a series!

My Thoughts:
When I decided to read, Silver, I initially didn't realize that it was part of a series that should be read in sequential order. However, it was very easy to follow along, and catch up with all of the characters and what had occurred in previous books, without being lost.
Silver is told by the main character, Stacia Palmer, who should be excited because her college football quarterback boyfriend, Marshall Matthews, is about to be drafted in to the NFL. Stacia has only every wanted to be a quarterback's wife. She wants a life of comfort, and has a passion for the game of football. However, at this time, Stacia has a change of heart. She dumps Marshall, because she realizes that she is unhappy. She doesn't love Marshall, and can't stop thinking about Pace Larson, her ex-boyfriend, also a quarterback.
Stacia decides to change the direction of her life. However, this proves to be a huge challenge. Stacia is behind in college units and her grades were average, because she never really put forth effort. She coasted by, because her real goal had been to snag herself a star quarterback. After some personal reflection, Stacia decides to go in to sports broadcasting. We see her change her priorities, and work really hard to get in to the program, and then strive to make high grades.
During this time we see her ex-boyfriend, Pace Larson, try to get back into her good graces. It's obvious that Stacia and Pace share strong feelings for one another. However, they have a complicated past full of bad decision making, lack of communication, and immaturity. Still, as a reader, I couldn't help but root for these two to resolve their issues and get their happily ever after.
Along the way, it was a pleasure getting to know Stacia's best friends, Bryna, Trihn, and Maya, as well as her new friend, Whitney. We also get to see how tight-knit Stacia is with her father, (football coach for U.S.C) and her brother, Derek, who is the starting quarterback for their father's team. All of the secondary characters were fabulous. I loved the deep friendships that Stacia had, and the warmth and connection that she shared with her family. All of these characters had their own backstories as well, and I would love to go back and read them in the previous books from this series.
There was a lot of drama and angst with multiple antagonists in this story, as well as the back and forth between Stacia and Pace. This kept the story interesting and entertaining. There was no denying the intense passion and feeling that Stacia and Pace felt towards one another.
Stacia and Pace grew tremendously as characters in their story. I enjoyed seeing them mature and grown; both as individuals, and as a couple. The ending of the story was very sweet and romantic! It had me grinning from ear to ear, and satisfied with the way the author chose to end the story!

Okay this one was BY FAR the best written one in this series. All characters had development and progressed. I always love Stacia the best so I was glad she got her own book and own happy ending.

I have been a fan of Kyla for a LONG time and I've read majority of her books! I have been waiting for this book since I read the first one.
It was a really good book! Wasn't the biggest fan of either of the MC's going into this book but I ended up being fine with them by the end. Good writing and an interesting story!
I can't wait to read more books by Kyla!

Every time I think I have found my favorite couple by KA Linde she changes my mind with the next book. I have always been a fan of the series and I have anxiously been awaiting this release. This book did not disappoint! Stacia and Pace's story is one for the ages. I love when everything isn't rainbows and butterflies. Angst and tribulations make the relationship stronger in the end. I am so happy with the way this book played out and how it ended. Silver I think moved its way into my top spot for KA Linde's books.

Amazing sports romance! It is written brilliantly, sweet, sexy, funny and sad. Truly a fantastic read!
Stacia is known as the cheer slut in her university, she has dreams of marrying an NFL quarterback, until her dreams start to become reality and she has a change of heart. She decides to pull back from her once sort after dream and concentrate on herself and what she wants from life.
Pace has just become the starting quarterback for the university’s football team, he and Stacia have history and Pace wants her back.
They have some huge obstacles to overcome, there are fights, rumours, lies and a horrific accident. Stacia doesn’t know if she can ever trust Pace again, can they build back the trust that was lost and be happy together?

I liked Pace, the man didn't hold nothing back, “the sound of that vibrator buzzing at night nearly sends me barreling straight through that door to take you. Envisioning you pleasuring yourself is pure torture.” Pace and Stacia had some issues but I was rooting for these two from the beginning, I'm so glad things worked out.
