Hiding from her enemy.

Talia takes an assignment at a bank, where she meets a dashing Secret Service agent. Before anything can happen, the NSA analyst is implicated in a cyber-crime.
Mason knows there’s more going on, but Talia won’t tell him what happened to her.
When the hacker closes in, and the Secret Service office is targeted, the only way to uncover what’s really going on is for them all to trust each other.
But with their histories, that’s a whole lot easier said than done.

Good thing the Northwest-Counter Terrorism Taskforce is on the case.

Talia, a NSA analyst, is a whiz at hacking files since age 12. She is at a bank to access the bank's computer system for vulnerabilities and meets a Secret Service agent named Mason. Money from the bank is transferred into her banking account, making it look like she is the culprit in Mason's eyes. Talia transfers the money out of her account, realizing it's the hacker who had kidnapped her. A man robs the bank just moments after. The action is non stop and fast paced with Mason and the Northwest Counter Terrorism Task force working together.
Loved the reference about "a scene from a Heather Woodhaven novel." I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Riveting suspense

I love this series, so be sure to start with the first book to get the full story! This team is absolutely amazing and I love every one of them. Their intensity to fight for justice and for one another is truly inspiring. The mystery kept me guessing. The suspense was a roller coaster ride. The romance between Mason and Talia had me hoping for their happy ending. The action intensified as the story built up to a satisfying ending. I’m looking forward to the next book!

An excellent third installment in this series! I have loved Talia since she first appeared in book one, and I have been eagerly anticipating her story ever since! I was not the slightest bit disappointed! Third Hour was fantastic. I loved every minute!
And, let me just say Mason was one hunky and totally amazing hero, and he and Talia make such an awesome couple!
I absolutely love how Talia uses her talent and skill with technology to stop criminals and save the day, and I especially loved that the tech speak was written so well that I found it easy to follow and never felt confused about what was going on, even though I am not a computer genius!
The suspense was fabulous, as I have come to expect from Lisa Phillips' books!
Once again I adored the banter and camaraderie between the members of the Northwest Counter-Terrorism Task Force team and can't wait for the next time I get to hang out with this gang of characters that feel like friends!
This book was just SOOOO good, I absolutely loved everything about it and cannot wait for the next book in the series! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You won't want to miss a moment of this action-packed romantic suspense series!

I received an ebook copy of this book from the publisher which did not influence my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own.

Talia is traumatized from her time in the hands of a hacker/ kidnapper who tried to sell her on the dark web. She is thankful that she was rescued by her boss. But even though her body has been freed, she is imprisoned by her fear.

She is determined not to let her fear defeat her, but she keeps encountering dangerous circumstances that test her faith. While investigating money transfers at a bank, she is introduced to Secret Service Agent Mason Anderson. Talia is instantly attracted to him, but is framed for theft while trying to track where the funds are being transferred to and from. Talia feels certain this is her hacker playing games with her and trying to discredit her by framing her. It takes all of her computer skills to try and track down this hacker.

The action is nonstop in this book as Talia and Mason try to track down the hacker. They are shot at, beaten up, and attacked by various computer programs set to trap Talia and bring her once again under the control of her hacker. The Northwest Counter -Terrorism Task Force members join forces to protect Talia and put an end to the threat against her.

Third Hour is an excellent read. I had a really hard time putting it down. The suspense started at the beginning of the book and carried through to the end. FIVE STARS!

Another action packed story in the NW Counter-Terrorism series.

This story is about Talia, our resident genius hacker. I love this character! I'm am definitely not a techno nerd so what she is able to do on a computer is just awesome! Unfortunately it has caused her trouble in the past and will again in this book - and her last encounter with the elusive "Hacker" has left her with a case of PTSD.

On an assignment to check the security of a bank, Talia meets a secret-service agent, Mason. It doesn't turn out to be the easy job that she was hoping it would be and suddenly her world spins out of control once again. Mason doesn't know her and he doesn't trust her because of the events that happen at the bank, but soon figures out that there is more going on than meets the eye.

There was just one strong slang word that I found in this story but otherwise it is a clean read.

I am absolutely devouring this series. It is definitely best read in order, though each book can stand alone, there is an overarching mystery and all of the characters in this team reappear to a high extent in each book. I love this series. The idea of a task force with characters from different lettered agencies is fascinating. I'm liking the law enforcement expertise involved in each book and the interesting and different crimes and criminals that they come up against. These stories are new and fresh and I'm kind of hurrying with this review because I literally can't wait to go start the next book.

All for one and one for all

A lot of action and some great characters. I do enjoy these books even though it's a little hard to follow the plot and there are loose ends left. (Who was the hacker? Who was the dead girl Talia had been chained to?) Sometimes this elite task force seems to go into potentially dangerous situations too casually and without enough planning. I liked focusing on Talia and having her character fleshed out more. Looking forward to the next book!

This is an excellent series to be reading. Third Hour did not disappoint me at all. Things were intense with Talia and the hacker. The hacker seemed to be one step ahead of her the whole way. Lots of drama and excitement and a little romance between Talia and Mason made it hard to put this book down. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Wow!

This book has so much suspense and action that all I can say is, "Wow!" The characters are interesting and wonderful. The writing flows so well that it carries me from one scene to the next. And it's such a pleasure to read a clean suspense with a bit of romance book.

THIRD. HOUR. Lisa Phillips
Talia loves gold, gold shoes and gold purses. Been a whiz at hacking files since twelve years old. Taking a job, and going to the bank and showing them where they were vulnerable. Within seconds her screen showed a deposit,to her account. Fear, as she scrambled to transfer it back. the hacker who kidnapped her, he has found her. Mason wants her to back off and arrest her, thinking, she wasn’t who’s she said. Then to find the bank is being robbed, only one man. The plot is just beginning, with non stop action. Who is the hacker, is it someone she knows,is there a mole in the agency. Another top story of intrigue to the end.
