In the shadowed streets of Toronto, there exists a garrison of soldiers like no other—nine immortal warriors, half-Archangel/half-human, living unknown amongst the city, defending humanity from the Daemons of the Hell realm. After millennia of death and violence, Lady Divinity has granted them reward for their servitude, a gift that makes her mighty warriors stronger than ever—Love.
Brennus, the ancient Celt, is living the life, thankful that his sexual preference gives him a pass on the whole Nephilim mating madness. His mistake is thinking Lady Divinity defines love. His reward is finding out what true courage is—allowing two hearts to become one.
This, by far, is the best book in the series. No spoilers here. You have read it to find out. Let me just say that this one was the most heartfelt HEAs I have read. It also must be said that I am a sucker for a Scotsman in a kilt or black fighting leathers or in anything else for that matter. Scotsmen are the end all be all for me. Sue me, I biased. 🥰
Watcher Brennus and Ice Deamon Colt have a complicated relationship, and it is made worse by the fact that and ancient Ice Deamon God is in the process of possessing Colt. And with the possession ahe would ' ascend ' to rule in place of his cousin. To stop the possession Colt calls it off with Brennus thinking that strong reactions/emotions left him open. Only after his cousin tried to have him killed and the god made an appearance were Colt and Brennus able to admit their feelings and mate. This is a complete book with no cheating or cliffhangers. Unlike the other books in this series this book is a m/m romance. I read this book in exchange for an honest review
This is another riveting book about the Watchers of the Grey. The seventh in the series is no less readable than the first and I’m looking forward to reading the eighth. Love them.
3.5 🌟's I was a fan of this, though a lot was ensenuated off page. I wished for more then implication, but would of settle for at least the big turn around moment to be in the story and not talked about after.
Another gripping read from page one to end. This series has it all and as I start on the last book I’m both sad and excited. Thank you for an amazing read
Poor B thought he had killed so.Some he truly cared for when Colt went Awol. When Volt returned he hurt B by telling g him they could never be together anymore. Because Colt knew he was more than just a Demon
As always I got so lost in this incredible story that I reached the 3nd before realizing I never want this series to end The feel good vibes coming off these books are awesome

Very entertaining tale of Brenan and Colt. There is humour and adventure throughout this tale and of course there is angst between our MCs. Well written, great characters and exciting story line.
