C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind - especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She's the author of over thirty novels - romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There's a heck of a lot to do there.

Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She's already looking forward to it.

November 11th, 2020: Author posts cover and puts up book for preorder on Amazon for continuation series! Orientation, a prequel, is up for preorder. Due to release in June 2022
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09...

Thank you for checking in with me for updates for this book. It's been a blast being able to help and chat with so many people because of it!

An unexpectedly good series now comes to a close with the fourth and final book. I will say that this wasn't quite as gripping for me as the last few were, probably because 1) Tristan drama isn't appealing to me 2) I anticipated something much bigger 3) the author wanted to tie up a lot of loose ends and due to the length, I felt some of it was rushed. However, it was still a good read that I enjoyed and I am overall satisfied with the conclusion. We have revenge, we have conflict resolution, we have some losses, we have some wins, and while I personally wanted more romance and sweetness, there still remains a heavy focus on the relationship aspect overall. I feel the ending is satisfactory.

Like with all the books there's various warnings for sex, violence, swearing, etc. and this book like the last two definitely cement this as new adult or like mature upper teen 16+ reading. The author once again states that this book and the series as a whole was not intended to be YA or for young audiences

For anyone interested in knowing the outcome of the romance:

The author also left a note in the back saying that she is considering a sequel series to this one about their college years but that it depends on reader interest, so definitely message her on her social media if you want more books about the characters! I'd be interested in reading about them, but only as long as we're not given pointless, poorly done drama to ruin the relationships for the sake of cheap tension and conflict. I don't think it's necessary, but it'd be nice to see a series try to really show these things working out and dealing with the real-world repercussions of one girl juggling this large, complex romantic situation.

As the ending, I don't have much to say, but if you are interested in the series I do recommend it! I was pleasantly surprised at what I was given with it, since the majority of reverse harems and "dark" teen/school romances tend to just be kind of icky and soul-sucking, so it has major props for being a dark, contemporary, teen reverse harem that I could actually get through and enjoy.

The Rich Boys of Burberry Prep took over my life this year! Once I picked up Filthy Rich Boys, I couldn't stop! I fell so hard for all of these characters, and this series is one of my favorite contemporary reverse harem series ever! It's a bit of a slow burn, but in the best way possible. There are several guys that needed to build a believable and solid relationship with the heroine, and C. M. Stunich accomplished that with perfection.

Bottom line, I had an absolute blast reading these books! It was definitely one of the highlights of my reading year in 2019. For that reason alone, this series deserves 5 stars from me! I almost gave this particular book a 4 (partly because of reasons down below), but the more time that passed, the more I realized a 4 just wouldn't properly express my love for this series. It is so much fun and consumed me from start to finish. I recommend it wholeheartedly to any contemporary, new adult reverse harem fan!

(I will say there is one main thing that didn't happen that I was waiting for in the final book. That being said, the author is writing a spin-off series with them in college, and something tells me I'll be getting a whole lot of what I was hoping for soon. 😏)

Quantity over quality is the theme of this book

When I started this series C.M. Stunich was a new read for me. RH and ménage books are kind of a guilty pleasure. While not an every day thing, I really enjoy them when they are done well. I liked the first book of the series, and therefor committed to follow the series to the end. What I noticed in this series is the same thing I have noticed before in books with 4+ “heroes”... When the author chooses quantity over quality, the plot line suffers immensely. In the first book with the author took time to nourish her relationships with her father and her best friend. As the series went on and more heroes were added, other important aspects of the story were lost until finally, in this book, her relationship with her dad was reduced to two or three scenes and several randomly placed internal “I can’t believe he’s dying” thoughts. Her relationship with her best friend is now almost non existent. She is reduced to a token character, strategically placed to say random things and (literally) add ”#teamcreed”, but we see nothing real of Mirandas life over this year? The author also failed to grow any of Marnyes romantic relationships beyond surface level. As the books go on, sure the guys fall more “in love” but the author didn’t bother to show us what makes this girl so special that each are willing to make the sacrifice of not having a real relationship. Not being able to sleep beside their girlfriend whenever they want, not being chosen to hold her when she cries or has had a rough day. Not being able to have sex when they are feeling it, not because of the normal couple issues but simply because by the second or third guy she has serviced that day she probably isn’t feeling it. This isn’t porn, woman can’t and don’t want to be that in demand for sex. If you think about it, it’s impossible. There are 5 athletically fit male teenagers in their prime, 6 full time college students at (a highly competitive) ivy league university. How exactly would that work? How could she have time for everyone and each of their individual needs? Maybe if the guys were bi and could help each other out, but from what was shown it’s not swinging that way. And is the lack of time to nurture a real emotional relationship. The author has already proven that impossible because she couldn’t do it herself in these books. How are we to believe that they would continue to have real relationships after the series? For the record, I didn’t care who Marnye would choose, but not choosing was an obvious cop out meant to appease the fangirls. From the beginning (with the 3 hearts on the cover among other things) it was heavily hinted that she would end up with 3 guys. But most people have their favorites and apparently, God forbid someone’s favorite not get chosen right? I’ve seen the 20 ish 5 star reviews and for lack of a better term, they are fluff. Probably ARC receivers who write an automatic 5-star review to keep getting free books and fangirls who get so wrapped up in the author they eat any slop out in front of them and call it filet. There is also the small number who are so sex obsessed that they don’t care about a good plot, just the fantasy of having 5 guys to fawn over them and have sex with them. At some point this author needs to decide what’s more important, writing crap that appeals to a small number of fangirls, or writing a real story that could potentially touch many more people who will become real fans of her work. And yes right now there may be mostly 5 star reviews, but based on Amazons numbers, it’s obvious that’s a percentage of who bought the book. For some reason almost all books have 4 overall stars or above, even though It’s impossible for EVERY book to be worthy, and undeserved ratings undermine the purpose of a ratings system. The fact is that a lot of readers don’t take the time to rate something they think is only “ok”, crap, or something they didn’t even bother to finish. Reviews can take up a good amount of time and most people want to move on to something they will actually like. I write reviews generally for two reasons, I like to help save people time on a book that might be a waste of their precious time. For people like me, reading can be a break from their real life, and a desperately needed distraction from anxiety causing issues in real life. They deserve to know if a book will be that for them, whether they agree or disagree with my points is their choice. The second is that I like to offer constructive criticism to writers, especially to those who could be really good. I write, and I’ve always wanted to hear the truth from others, good or bad. Even as a kid I got tired of hearing “oh that’s so good” comments from people without feedback. I’m not an ego maniac, I don’t need someone who only feeds me positive bs for fear of hurting my feelings. I need honest feedback that will help me understand the way others feel, and will help me grow as a writer.
I assume most true writers feel the same way.

I went into this series not really having any expectations or of any idea what to expect only when searching bully romance books to read which it seems I'm inhaling like nobody's business this series kept popping up time and time again. So I jumped in and didn't expect to get pulled in as much as I did, I also didn't expect to read a book a day.

It's not the best bully romance book/series I've read but something just keeps tugging at me to keep reading.

We have the Idols of the school, the usual clique of bully girls, but what's unique is the bets and game changers which pull the strings in the background of an elite powerful group of puppeteers.

And throughout it all I came away with still having my two favourites. #teamcreed #teamzack

There were so many aspects of this series I loved, our heroine was as tough as nails even dealing with seeing a loved one dwindle away, to the most brutal bullying of them all, these guys took bullying to the next level!! And still she stood her ground. The angst and the feels walked hand in hand in this series, twist and turns had me turning the pages at record speeds, even my reading speed was switched up a notch because I've never read this quick before.

I'm so glad I took a chance on this series and the best way is back to back.

....WHAT WITCHCRAFT COMPELLED ME TO READ THIS ENTIRE SERIES?!?!?
Listen, I love a good reverse harem romance. And I would be lying if I said that the bully trope didn't work for me sometimes. But this? This was too much. The completely unbelievable highschool (?!?!) characters, revenge story, everything was ridiculously too much. I had so many problems with so many things. Almost all of my Hell No buttons were pushed.
And yet.
I compulsively read THE WHOLE DAMN THING.
So I guess good job, author, for giving me something to rant about.

(Caveat: a ton of people clearly love this series, and that's great for them)

Children, this is what happens when you publish more than one book a month, you completely fuck up a series that had a perfectly good start.

It all comes down to this, this book: and the previous two books could have been part of the first book, why? Because nothing much goes on! So many scenes could've been cut off from this story as they don't lead anywhere, they're just there, taking space, probably because the author wanted to meet the usual page-length.

Many other things annoyed the hell out of me, for instance Marney, I used to really like her, but over the last two books she's become a total and complete hypocritical brat. I really wanted all of the guys to dump her stupid ass and move to an island on the other side of the globe. How they somehow fell in love with her is really beyond me. Maybe if more time had been put into writing and developing the storyline and tying up all of the loose ends, and oh man, were there a lot of them, this series could have been great.

I have given so many chances to this author's books, but I've just come to the realization that the outcome will always be the same.

BTW, stay away from drugs kids, don't listen to what this book tells you.

I hate read this book, and I have a lot of mixed feelings about that.

I truly can’t figure out why I mostly enjoyed reading this series. I got frustrated with this book so many times that I should have just put it down. But for some reason I wanted to finish this book and see it come to a conclusion.

Really, not a lot happened in this book that hasn’t already happened previously. After the first book in the series, the plot has been basically the same – Marnye swears revenge and somehow slowly works towards that goal as she simultaneously falls for her bullies.

Now that I’ve finished this series, I’m more willing to actually discuss some of the serious flaws that can be found within this book.

Let’s start with Marnye. As a heroine, she’s fairly intolerable. Her inner monologue is tedious and repetitive, and she (oddly) occasionally breaks the fourth wall to apologize to the reader for one thing or another.

She’s also guilty of lamp shading, where she states something is wrong just before proceeding to engage in said behavior. The best example would be slut-shaming. She constantly says she doesn’t judge women for what they choose to wear, then continues on to call them sluts for wearing revealing costumes.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it’s still slut shaming even if you say you don’t judge. Stunich is guilty of that throughout her book. Marnye pays lip service to feminism but can’t help but participate in the same behavior that she’s condemning. Acknowledging the behavior is wrong does not make it any less heinous when you participate in it.

She acts as though there’s no work-around for using the word slut, but I can think of a handful of synonyms right of the bat. Revealing, risqué, sexy, etc. I would be more likely to believe Marnye isn’t judging if the information about revealing clothing wasn’t used in the book to further condemn the females in question. It’s just one more piece of information we’re given to make us hate those girls even more. ‘Cause they’re mean and slutty, which makes them even worse.

Marnye also suffers from an almost terminal case of dumb bitch disease. Literally at 92% into the book Marnye just realizes that Harper and her cronies are actually willing to kill her. Bitch, were you not there when they tried to drown you, beat you, or brand you? How is she just now realizing, after multiple threats and attempts on her life, that they are actually willing to kill her? She has the memory of a gold fish, and I’m convinced the only reason she’s alive at the end is because there are five guys determined to keep her alive.

Which brings me to another issue. Five guys are just a few too many for me. Reverse harems walk a delicate line – having that many MCs makes the book more interesting and diverse, but too much of a good thing can turn confusing and frustrating quickly.

While we got to flesh out the backstories of a few of the guys, there were just too many for Stunich to ever really go into detail. Windsor is still kind of a mystery, and it’s difficult to have truly intimate moments with that many guys.

I feel like this is the book where you can really start to see the quantity over quality issue emerge – despite nearly three years of being intimate with all of the guys, Marnye still seems to be just figuring them out. Which makes sense, considering how many stories she has to keep straight, and how many stories the reader would be forced to keep straight if she ever really went into detail.

But not only does this series suffer for having too many characters – it also suffers for having too few females. There’s only one female that is tolerable other than Marnye, and she happens to be the lesbian sister of one of the male love interests. Literally the only other female in this novel that isn’t lambasted is the only one that would never date or come on to any of the males.

This entire series is also incredibly hypocritical when it comes to bullying. I actually don’t understand why Marnye has a list of rules regarding bullying, because they are literally never followed. Someone breaks a rule and oh well. Her ideas about what is acceptable and what is not are so arbitrary that I think they’re based on the position of the moon and stars and her daily horoscope.

And while the male idols achieve some sort of redemption, not a single female in the novel gets the same treatment. There obviously needs to be someone for Marnye to struggle against, but the gender discrepancies in the novel are kind of ridiculous.

You’re probably reading this and wondering, why did you even bother to read this far into the series if you have this many problems with it? And I have to tell you that I am just as disoriented as you are. Something kept me interested in this series and curious about what would happen, and if I had to point to something it would probably be Creed.

What can I say, I like handsome, lazy, intelligent, and slightly spiteful guys. Anime has kind of ruined my taste in fictional men.

Despite all of my complaints, when Stunich comes out with her Bornsead U series, I intend to at least read the first one.

I don’t really recommend this series to anyone, but if none of the things I listed above bother you, then this might be the series for you.

Random thoughts:

-Nice ending to this series and I'm kind of sad to say goodbye to these characters.
-The prologue for this one was brutal. More than the first three books and it's like having a cliffhanger at the very beginning. I loved the suspense though.
-I hated Lizzie with a passion.
-I wish the author would have written some of the scenes that were cut short, like with Creed for example ;). Maybe it's just me but I wanted more than just "We head back to his room and end up being late in the morning" ... I feel like we got the first scene with each character and that was it.
-The author mentions another of her book "Groupie" and the self publicity made me cringe a little. It also mentions that the main character's dad has cancer (just like in this series) and while very relatable, it's kind of a trigger for me...
-The last fight scene felt a bit repetitive and predictable?
-Can't wait to start her next Bully romance series.

I don’t even want to finish it. The third book had too many turn offs for me and I forced myself to finish it thinking the last book couldn’t be as bad because she HAS to choose someone. Like seriously I was sick of all the guys. Her personality started out alright but then turned very bland and I could not for the life of me see why five super hot guys were not only vying for her, but madly in love with her. Like okay. I skip to the end to see who she does pick and what do you know it’s no one. Of course. Cop out. And pisses me off. I feel like I’ve been dragged around and led on by her and I’m not even in the series. The back and forth shit is getting old too btw. And honestly I don’t see or feel the “connections” between some of the guys and her. Like Zack. Sure they dated in middle school, he bullied her, she hated him, she got back at him, and then she likes him? Why? Because he has big muscles and makes her feel protected? That’s so lame. No love no spark. She likes him because he has big muscles. Shallow. And Zayde. I don’t feel the connection there either. He’s a rockstar. He has tattoos. He likes music. He’s goofy? Like other than them just kind of joking around I don’t see a connection. They could be siblings. They could just be friends. I don’t see the love at all. I see a lot of lust. I see a lot of friendship maybe. But no love.

Then there are small things throughout the series that annoyed me. The Japanese manga thing that popped up out of no where. Her dads dying and she spends her summers with boys who literally tore her apart at school. Ummm, the hair thing. Like we get it, you turned a bad situation good. Now move on. The plot seemed a bit lost to me. The timeline too. One second it’s the beginning of the school year and they all get on campus, literally two pages later and it’s Halloween. Like wtf? There’s a couple lines about burying herself in her academics and avoiding Harper and Co. and some lines about checking on her dad and “all her free time is taken up by playing the harp and dating her boys.” Like okay that’s descriptive, felt more like a summary to me than a storyline.

I was hoping she’d pick Tristan, or Windsor or at the very least Creed. But nope. It would have been hot if it was Tristan cause he was the main bully/instigator for the start and bringing him to his knees before her would have been a hell of an ending. Windsor’s character is probably my favorite to be honest and he’s been loyal to her from the start. Not to mention the change in scenery that direction would take. An England royals vs Marnye and Wind would be sick! Or maybe she’d be the one to tame Winds dark side and they could like marry and settle I don’t know. Anything’s better than the cop out that went down. Creed because they both lost their virginity to each other umm Marnyes best friend is his sister? But nope.

But whatever works for you guys I guess. I’m just sorely disappointed.

Hoping the spinoff of Bornstead University actually happens

Finally Marnye gets her HFN ending. The Infinity Club is still going though, so she sorta failed in her objective to take it down. Everything else was resolved. It does leave the door open for the university years, which I would love to read.

I can't lie, this series got progressively worse for me. It started so well, yet with each book, I found myself cringing more and more. To quote Marnye, "A little angst is fun. Too much gives me a stomach ache."

description

For my full thoughts on the series, read my previous reviews for Filthy Rich Boys #1, Bad, Bad Blueboods #2 and The Envy of Idols #3. As for this book, In the Arms of the Elite #4, I have little to say. To be frank, it got very silly, very quickly. From, "Tristan has to fuck Lizzie because of a bet," to them all running around with guns at the end, I was done.

description

As Charlie said, "...it's not always the ending that's the most important. Sometimes, the journey to get there is just as good." This sums up perfectly how I felt about the series as a whole.

Rich people are horrible in this book.

In the Arms of the Elite kind of left me shocked. At least in some parts, because shit was going crazy left and right. For example, who the fuck allows people to kill one person? It isn't for the greater good because your kids suck ass and are entitled assholes. Plus, killing a poor person because they are better at school than your kid is just dumb. So yeah, I didn't like a lot of stuff in this book - yet, I ate it all up.

I just fell in love with Maryne, Miranda, and the guys. I didn't care if people were giving her shit because she just had to choose one guy and leave the rest - says who bitch? She can keep them all if they are okay with sharing her. Hot damn! Plus the bullying, on point but terrifying to see what lengths these people would go to. I mean.. burning someone? It seems like someone has anger issues and some awesome karma coming their way - just saying.

Speaking of Miranda, god I love her and her friendship with Maryne. Lizzie was such a little spoiled brat - she wanted Tristan.. but had that weird creepy guy in love with her. Myron I think is his name.. home boy has some issues just saying. PLUS, all of the hot sexy scenes were fire - I wont say who was my favorite, I'm just happy that they all took it to the next level. It's about god damn time.

Other than all of that, I basically just killed this book. I kind of want another one since they are in college now but I also know that the book might never happen. I hope all these kids got their happily ever and shit. I also hope that all those people who were okay with murdering some poor girl who was outsmarting all their douche kids go to jail.

LIZZIE WAS A FUCKING SNAKE.

I love being right.

My predictions came true.
And I’m so bloody happy!

This was the end, and it was epic.

This stupid plot, with exceptional characters, and overwhelming emotions... captured me.
I was frothing at the mouth reading these books.

They are SO FUCKING GOOD.

A beautiful story.

Recensione in Anteprima sulla mia pagina Bookstagram
https://www.instagram.com/p/CRDtOlEHD...

I have finally completed this series after reading it for a week or so! It has been so so so good... it’s definitely been a while since I’ve read a series that I’ve enjoyed as much as this one.

Side note, I’m always up for high school bully romances and all that over the top drama - so that’s a prime reason for why I liked this series so much.

Marnye is an Idol - the queen of the school. It’s her final year at Burberry Prep and she is ready to graduate! She just needs to maintain all her grades, complete her revenge plan, and keep her head high - and she’ll be ready to go to her dream university.

All goes well until Marnye realizes that there is another bet going on within the Infinity Club - what a surprise, right? Now, Marnye will have to be extra cautious, and it doesn’t help that she worries about her five boys.

Along with the stress that comes with her school work, social life, and extracurriculars - Marnye also worries about her father’s deteriorating health.

Will Marnye be able to make it out of Burberry Prep unscathed? Or will trouble follow her as always?

I know I’ve said this in my previous reviews bUT if you’re usually a sucker for these types of high school dramas, then definitely check this series out. I was certainly impressed! x

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars! Final book, done! Reverse Harem, Bully series. I guess all the harpies got what they deserved after years of bullying Marnye. Harper especially got what she deserved, good riddance. I was so glad all the guys applied for the same college.

If your looking to try Reverse Harem romance I definitely recommend this series.

"Your Majesty, Indeed. Marry me and make it official. Ni Pre-Nup. You can have half my fortune if we ever get divorced"

This final book blew my mind and stole my heart. A perfect ending to a perfect series.

I loved this series and these characters. They had a real and hard grip on my heart and they didn’t want to let go. This book was bittersweet for me because of that. I was ready for the story to be over and for Marnye and her guys to get their happy ending, but I also wanted more books at the same time. I was ultimately very happy with how things ended though. I have heard that C.M. Stunich is considering a spin-off so there’s that.

What I Didn’t Like- There was continual reference to politics in this book, and throughout the series, which I hate. This is a problem that seems to be reoccurring in C.M. Stunich’s books. I’ve had to DNF books of hers before because she wouldn’t stop doing it. It seemed like every other page was talking about the patriarchy or feminist comments were being made. There is nothing wrong with those comments in themselves, but that is not why I read this book. I picked this series up to read about a reverse harem bully romance. Not about feminism or the patriarchy.

I am a firm believer in using your platform as an author or blogger or whatever for what it was meant to be used for. For example, as a book blogger, I do not share my political views because I do not believe that that is what my platform should be used for. I will not use it to try to influence others into siding with me. I review books and you read my reviews to hear my opinions on books, not for my political opinions.

I also think my opinion would have been different if C.M. had only mentioned these things once or twice. But, and I kid you not, over the course of this series, there had to have been at least 50 comments made. This is extreme and I felt like I was getting hit over the head with C.M.’s political views constantly. It took away a lot of my enjoyment.

Overall, I love C.M. as an author and her books grab me like no one else, but I honestly don’t know how much more of the political stuff I can take. I will continue to read her books for now because I love them so much, but somethings gotta give eventually.

I would love to hear your opinions on this. Should authors include their political opinions in their books? Do you agree that me being a little put off by C.M.’s constant remarks is justified? Do you ever stop reading a book or author because of them including their political opinions?

I want more!

From the very beginning of the book I hooked! I'm not going to lie, the prologue messed me up. I was in a WTF state of mind most of this book just because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then of course I couldn't read this book fast enough just so I could see what the heck was going on.

This series was just simply amazing! I love a good bully read and a good harem so to have a bully rh was like heaven to me! I am truly addicted and would love to read about the college years for sure. These boy's have my heart and it's almost impossible to choose just one. There would be no way I could do it! I went through so many different emotions reading this and now that it's over I'm in a bit of a funk. But a good funk! I didn't want this to end and now that it has I don't think I can move on. Haha (i know...dramatics) But seriously please write more about these characters. I'd love to see how Miranda's and Andrew's relationships turn out. Definitely 5 royal stars for sure!

Clearly I liked the series enough to devour each installment and finish. Yes in each book there is drama and each relationship grows but each installment seemed too much like the last. The only exception, the end of book four.
I get it’s a RH/bully theme but the choice that was made was.....meh. Based on the character interactions and the story development I just didn’t buy it. Marnye’s thoughts and actions led me to believe it was more lust than “love” with most of the boys. The fact we waited so long for her and Tristan, I kinda felt robbed.

Would I read another book in this series following the gang to college? Absolutely. It’s addictive.

I feel like the author tried to score the right number of books in a very short time, and the quality of the story decreased with each book. If the first one was amazing and I enjoyed it very much, the last one was very predictable and I've read it only to complete the series.

End of an era

The adventures in Burberry Prep have come to a close and it is such a satisfying ending. This is honestly the best book of the series for so many reasons. I love the way everything is tied together at the close, and the potential for a continuation in college. I also enjoyed the little mentions of Adamson Academy from CM Stunich's other bully series, The Secret Girl. Shared book universes make me so happy and I can't wait for the crossover book between the two series.

In this book the Infinity Club really does feel like a terrifying organisation. It's been steadily hyped up for so long, but this book really delivered a menacing villain through the club. The plot with Marnye's sister was handled wonderfully. Initially she was such an intimidating figure but as we got to know her she showed how young and unsure she really is, and I loved seeing Marnye as an older sister. That said, Creed and Miranda are the best fictional siblings in forever. I love the way they act around each other and toward Marnye, they're just fantastic characters.

As a side note I would totally be up for a novella of all the steamy scenes that were only mentioned in lines here and there. I need Zayd being slow, Creed being sneaky, Windsor's room after the barn scene, and ESPECIALLY the night before graduation.

Cannot decide

I am actually kind of dissapointed. I was so excited for this book, but at the beginning of this book (at least 30%) I just kept cringing whilst reading it. It seemed so cliche. She just kept repeating her thoughts over and over again and going into details of how beautiful each and everyone of her boyfriends are. I felt like the last part, where she was fighting for her life, was so rushed even though everything in this book was leading to it and it took me 5 minutes to read that fight scene. I just feel that most of the story was just there, so it could be sold as a book. I just couldn’t see the point of it. I could not see the chemistry between them. Don’t get me wrong I love all those boys, but I felt like it was portrayed as more physical attraction than emotional. I just could not feel the ‘soulmate’ type of love between them.

A worthy finale to the series, even if it is weaker than its predecessors. I think it may have been a bit too long and redundant overall, but I liked to lose myself in that world. Here, too, the antagonist promised some revenge actions, which were only carried out towards the end (but then also quite violently). Moreover, we finally get some hot sexy scenes, which are really well written. The relationship structures have solidified, and despite some lengths it was still thrilling until the very end. All in all a great ending of the series - and in the hope that we might be able to accompany the characters again (at university), if you interpret the author's epilogues correctly.
