This short book contains twenty-five ideas that ESL teachers can use to try to help engage their students. I would not call these lesson plans, as it states in the book title book, but I imagine that teachers trying to get students to understand how to work with English in a more everyday way could find this valuable. Some ideas are simple, and others are complex. Some will definitely get the students to try to apply their English skills to real-world situations, like cooking. Others are quite imaginative, like the use of fantasy.

As a teacher, ALL teachers will have students in their classroom who do not speak English as their first language and so these lesson plans are really awesome. These ideas can also be incorporated in YOUR (teacher) lesson plans in order to bring in all students, including those ELL (English Language Learners) students that almost every classroom will have.
