This book had me hanging on the edge of my seat the whole way through.
I love horror anything that can truly scare me and this one succeeded where so many newer movies have failed. I also love a good book that will A. have me staying up late to finish B. have me hanging on the edge of my seat and C. that will make me lose any amount of sleep at night.
Due to the way the book was written, I kept losing my thoughts and felt throughout the book that I WAS the main character. The first night I started reading it, I was temporarily afraid of going to bed until I remembered I was reading a book and not living like the woman in the book.
If you're anything like me and enjoy being totally lost in a book and being made to feel like you're living the horror, you need to read this. It'll have you feeling a wide range of emotions- from fear, relief, terror. You will love the main character and the people close to her and you'll hate the vilians to the point of wanting to kill them yourself. It's had me feeling so many emotions I had to take breaks to calm myself down because it's written in a way that will place you in the position of feeling like you're the main character herself.

I loved this book!! It has been a while since I read a book that I didn't want to put down. It draws you into the story right away. Definitely a page-turner! Really well written. I can't wait to read other books by this author!

LOVED this book!!! It was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I took her advice and gave it a read. Couldn’t put the darn thing down. Hopefully the author comes out with another one soon. Love finding a new to me writer!!!

From the moment I started reading this book it kept me totally engaged. I felt as if I was part of the family and that I was actually there with the characters. I definitely recommend this book infact I'll be reading it a couple more times just because it's such a great book.

Extremely well written page turner that is so worth the read. This author will be one of America's best and an author to watch for. One of the best books I've ever read.

First of all I’d like to say this is not my type of book that I would normally be drawn to read. However, after reading the first chapter, I was pleasantly surprised and captivated by the story. I felt like I was right there along with the characters and their journey into the unknown. It was a great read and looking forward to reading more from this new author.

This book kept my attention! The chapters had plenty of detail to answer my questions and left me with questions that where answered a few chapters later. I was very happy with how the story began and extremely happy with how it ended. The author wrote it in a way that it could be the end of the story or a story to be added to. If she chooses to add to the story I will read it. I recommend this book to all and especially to those who enjoy the paranormal and suspense.

I finished this book in about a day and a half because I didn't want to put it down! It was a very easy and intriguing read. I easily connected with the characters and thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. The suspense built throughout the entire book and culminated into a climactic ending! This book is well written and I cannot wait for more from this author!

I received Quiet Waters as a gift so I didn't know much about it or the author. It started off pleasantly enough but then we step into family secrets. No, not like an affair or a gambling habit, we are talking some serious secrets here. The book quickly became a real page turner. I actually had to put it down several times because it became too scary to keep reading. I strongly recommend picking up a copy of this book. Does anyone know if this author has any other books? Not that I want any more sleepless nights, but it really was a good read!

One of the most thrilling books I have ever read, keeps you literally involved to the very end! Definitely worth spending a couple of days in a cozy chair and getting lost in the adventure.

Whoever this woman is she’s great! A friend gave me her book and I took to it right away. The book and storyline is captivating. I throughly enjoyed it. I searched her name to see if she had anymore books out but unfortunately I couldn’t find any other titles. I highly recommend Quiet Waters— you will not be disappointed.

This author has an extremely heightened writing skill set. The ending will get you , tears , happiness, fear, suspense, closure . I started reading this book for an escape and finished it for self therapy . The beginning will draw you in and wonder and the end will leave you at peace with more than just the ending . I highly recommend this book , and after you are done reading pass along to a loved one (they will thank you ).

This book is amazing. It kept my attention from the very beginning to the very end. I could not put this book down. This book was very well written and takes you down a very thrilling journey. I would highly recommend this book if you are wanting a very good read!!

While the storyline was good I had a really hard time reading some of this book. There were also many parts where I didnt want to stop reading. It was definitely YA, which isn't bad but may have been why it wasn't my favorite.

Not many books can make you want to find out what will happen and make you not want to end at the same time! This one does that. Enjoyed the story and characters. When is the next one coming Cynthia Cain??

One of the best books I’ve read. I’m usually one to read a view pages and then forget about the book. I could not put this book down, ended up spending a day reading it just so I could finish it. Every chapter left you wanting more. I highly recommend, but don’t expect to get much done once you start reading, you will want to finish it.
