I could use this book in my future classroom to introduce fables. I could also use it in writers workshop and have writers make up their own fable of the time they came back to town and no one remembered them

This novel is vevy interesting.Rip the lazy, henpicked man or husbund who is adored by all his neighbours and children as he always help them when they need him.he fears his wife who makes his life impossible. He help others but he never help his family because he prefered to die rather than work for a pound. When he want to escape from his wife he goes to meet his friends. One day he went with his dog to walk,in his way he began to hear strange voices.Unfortunately he slept for 20 years. When he woke up ,he find every thing changed, i mean his friends and even his wife died ,his daughter married .Political situations also changed. I think that this story learn us many hings exactly the person who escapes from reality for harsh reasons and prefers to live in dreams.
