4.5 stars! I have truly enjoyed reading this well-written series. My first book by Shandi Boyes, but I must say I'm impressed. Justine and Nikolai connected in so many ways and have been through so much. Their love is as complicated as it can be. And I love every bit of it! Both are strong characters and the chemistry is intense, palpable and out-of-this world HOT. I liked how the author portrayed this dynamic duo and how they complemented each other perfectly. Loved them together and what I found most compelling was the love and respect they had for one another. It is definitely not a hearts and flowers romance. It's sexy, erotic, edgy, gritty and wonderfully twisted at times. This series has got the whole mafia gore and galore without being too gory. We get caught in the whirlwind that is Nikolai’s life, and ride the roller coaster of emotions.A sinfully seductive story of two people that need each other, love each other, and fight to find the peace they deserve in a world where everything has a price.

What a rush!
The perfect ending to the tale of a Russian prince protecting what is his!

Nikolai stayed true to himself the only way he knows how to live to become King and Justine grew to become his fierce loyal Queen! Their chemistry was still off the charts smoking hot, the story line gets crazy good and secondary characters were perfect! So perfect we may see more of them!!!

This story has it all!! Suspense, melt your panty moments of passion, pain and suffering, a little bit of tears but most of all its a story that will stay with you and these characters will linger in your heart!

Without giving anything away if you haven’t read the first two, you need to ASAP!

I really don’t want their journey to end but hopefully we will get a sneak peek at them in the future 😉😉

I think this series is one of The authors best so far!

Disappointed

Great characters but awful ending. It just ended without tying up the loose ends. Very disappointing. There should be a book 4.

I'm not impressed with Justine. She says she wants to be by Nikoali's side and PROTECT him but all she does is make him look weak. She stops him from doing his job one too many times for my taste. He is a mafia prince now king and he cannot show weakness. But she stops him from punishing those who helped kidnap her and then disobey his orders. That only makes him look weak.
She wants to be his queen then she needs to realize that her defying him in front of his men is not being his queen, but his downfall. If she wants to rule beside him then she needs to be quiet in public and discuss in private. Not demand to know what is going on and then tell him not to go. No wonder one of his men drugged and had sex with one of the captive women...why not when you get away with it because Justine doesn't want anyone punished. UGH
Funny that she says she is against violence, but she slaps Nikoali twice and then punches Trey - all for trying to protect her. She calls Nikoali a coward for protecting her because she wasn't getting her way. Spoiled selfish women are strong men's downfalls.
He risked everything to save her and she just dumps accusations on him that if he isn't attracted to her anymore than they need to be done....REALLY! Self absorbed much? He's putting his own wants aside to be protective of her but because she isn't getting what she wants she lashes out AGAIN.
She stopped him from going after Carmichael when he had every right to exact revenge and torture that man the same way he was. But no, you can't touch him Nikoali.
Maltiva - oh no you can't touch her. WHY???

I enjoy mafia books but I won't be reading anymore of this series. I hate to see a strong alpha male be sidelined by a weak woman. It will get him killed eventually!

What a fabulous series. I have said before I don't usually love unredeemed bad boys, but for this anti hero I make an exception. Nikolai has been beaten to within an inch of his life by the very man who is supposed to protect him and yet he is still capable of love and forgiveness. His father not so much and it is not often I want someone killed but Vladimir deserved everything he got and so much more. It was like Justine said it is "like watching a horror movie at the gory part, you know something terrible is about to happen but no matter how many times you beg your eyes to look away, they remain glued to the screen fearful of missing something." The conncection between Nikolai and Justine is so strong and Rico and Blair being brought back with their son Eli is the demonstration that love is stronger than hate. As Justine comments, Nikolai is "the true representation of good and evil wrapped up in one sinfully delicious package" and what is even better is that he makes no apologies and Justine is finding that same strength so that together they are the King and Queen.

Book three of this wonderfully written dark romance.

First off, this is book three in the Russian Mob Chronicles, it's the final book in Nikolai and Justine's story. Please be sure to read book one, Nikolai: A Mafia Prince Romance and book two, Nikolai: Taking Back What's Mine before reading this book because you will be lost otherwise.

After a wrench was thrown in his plans to send Justine home to her family, Nikolai must decide what is important in his life. Things are out of his control and he's losing his mind. Someone from his past steps up to help him at a time he needs it most. He must rely on an enemy to help him as well and he's not sure Justine will forgive him when she finds out who he truly is. This third and final book is exciting, sexy, heart stopping, suspenseful, and so much more. This is an excellent series you don't want to miss, especially if you love suspenseful dark romances.

So the spice in this series is everything. These people go at it like bunnies, for real. The storyline is moving along nicely. I'm glad the story didn't stop at the second or first book. Giving 4 stars just because there's more thoughts than dialogue than I like. Also, the amount of times the author wrote "stealing my/their chance to reply" and the author calls the tip of the dick KNOB!!!! girl. I just cannot. A lot of phrases are repeated throughout this series and it's not even something to get used to.

Rico, his brother that he thought was dead, is back now and is going to help him take down their father. They end up killing him after Justine gets kidnapped by Malavine? (the girl he was proposed to) and Valdamire. Valdamire auctions Justine to men online but she gets saved by Nikolai and his crew. Valdamire hangs her up and hangs her and leaves her to die but Nikolai throws his knife at his throat and then saves her. The book ends with her getting news about her brother, Maddox, finally going to be released from prison after the person he "killed" was arrested for murder. Yeah.

The possessiveness though, is giving. Nikolia is a total daddy. I love that he only calls the mfc by her name (instead of Angle in Russian) in private or when he's serious. Like, yessssssss.

Nikolai has sent Justine home for her safety and a Roman is with her for protection. He hasn’t been able to contact Roman and has a gut feeling that Vladimir has her. With his birthday close his mind takes him back to the events of his 16th Birthday. With his brother Rico by his side he goes in search of Justine. Thankfully Rico has made some contacts which are able to help although Nikolai has to eat humble pie. Vladamir is a dead man and Malvina won’t be spared either. Nikolai’s worst nightmare is about to unfold and he has been blocked out. He finds help a little closer to home than you’d expect to find it. With a leadership takeover the other family heads are getting antsy! Justine is about to be in the fight of her life but she has some demons to face first.

Nikolai Whats left of me

Nikolai might be my most favourite Shandi Boyes Character to date. What an absolutely misunderstood guy because in Rico's book he was an absolute nightmare!!!!. The life Vladimir put him through was just horrific so I'm glad he got his own justice maybe not the legal way bet he tried.
Justine, what an amazingly strong woman after every knock life togas thrown at her she just keeps plugging and fighting.
These 2 are absolutely made for each other and u totally love them!!!
I am so happy Nikolai has Rico back in his life aswell happy ending indeed.

Can't wait to see what else is in store for these guys.

Two different world's collide

I read this third book in the series immediately after reading book one then book two, I was so happy that I had them all sitting there waiting for me to read! This book is a page-turner and with both Justine and Nikolai being strong characters and their connection and chemistry just kept getting stronger and hotter. It looks like there is going to be another book now following this one and I can’t wait to read where the author takes us next. This entire series is a great way to spend an afternoon, I advise you get all the books and start at book 1 so you don’t miss a word of what happens.

AMAZING WHAT A FANTASTIC SERIES. IT STARTED A LITTLE SLOW BUT OMG IT WASNT LONG BEFORE YOU HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT READING AS FAST AS I COULD! IT WAS SUPER ADDICTIVE. THE PACE IS SO FAST, THE TWISTS AND TURNS JUST KEPT COMING UP AGAINST NICKOLAI AND JUSTINE THAT IF THEIR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER WASNT AS STRONG AS IT WAS IT WOULD TEAR THEM APART AND LEAVE THEM NUMB FOR YEARS TO COME.

In a short amount of time Nikolai and Justine have been through a lot and continue to be fighting with everything they have. In the third part of their story, we see them emerge as a couple fit to rule an empire. A strong and formidable King with his equal by his side, his Ahren, his queen. She’s someone who sees him for who he is, who will stand by his side no matter what, and stand up to him when no other will. Justine and Nikolai’s connection is just as strong, if not stronger than the previous books. Their sinfully seductive romance is once again filled with action, intense situations, love, respect, and all things mafia.

This is not a standalone and you should read books one and two before you start this one.

I really enjoyed this one, but there's not allot I can really say about it without giving spoilers. We get even more of Nikolai's back story and what he went through. This story really packs a punch, and you will be on the edge of your seat turning the pages. The action, tension and steam is great and I totally recommend. The couple appear to have their HEA in this and I think it was originally meant to be the end of the series. It's a happy for now, so we get the book 4 with more actions and drama!

Definitely a great read, and totally recommend.

This third and last installment of this series has followed the pattern established in the first two books: poor writing evidenced by grammatical errors, too many repeated phrases, and misuse of words.

The story continued to be interesting and was nicely wrapped up in this book.

This author has a good sense of story telling but her efforts are diminished by limited writing skills. No doubt she would benefit greatly from a few writing classes. She already has a knack for inventing good stories.

Solid 4 Stars

This was a solid 4 star book for me. I liked the characters and the story line had just the right amount of twists throughout to keep me entertained. Also, and maybe most importantly, there were no awkward, cringe worthy moments. The dialog was to the point without a lot of inner monologues that go over the same point over and over. I was left wanting more but was satisfied with where it ended.

LOVED this series! So so much!

Loved the characters. The evil. The mob content. Loved the passion. I read all three in a matter of days. On the negative side I feel like there was a lot of repetitive sentences. “I’ll slit his throat”. Was said so many times I feel like it lost its strength. That’s just one example. There are a handful. I don’t love how the villain was finally killed. Very anticlimactic. After the build up over 3 books I expected more.

This is the continued story of Nickoli and Justine. He’s a powerful prince of the Russian mob and she is a sharp, sassy lawyer. One who is quickly finding out that the lifestyle is a dangerous one that is closing in on her. This is the second of a 3 part set. Shandi Boyes is an incredible author! Page turner all the way!

Nail biting, unpredictable and unfathomable love

I've read all three books in succession. You can't put them down. They keep you on the edge of your seat and the love of Nicholai and Justine is so piercing, Intense and sizzling you feel the very warmth of their desire. The betrayal of family, the breakdown of the legal system and the loyalty of a mafia family is intriguing. This story is an absolute must read. The pure love of two misfits is amazing!

Hangover

I am so sad this story is over! I loved every single second of Nikolai and Justine. They are strong, passionate, and exciting. The conclusion to this story was so satisfying. I loved seeing Nikolai being granted his freedom. And I loved seeing Justine become the strong woman she had inside of her the whole time. I might have to reread these in the future!! They were that good.

This is book three in the series. What an incredible journey for Nikolai and Justine! In this.book we see both Nikolai and Justine grow, realize their own potential and the additional strength that they have together. I have read all three books and loved being on this roller coaster adventure. I will definitely watch and continue to read this author in the future.

Protect at any cost

This is the third book in this series and it just keeps getting better and better. Nikolai finds the reason for his new world has been taken from him and he will stop at nothing to make sure she is returned. Justine discovers new strengths in herself and shows Molokai and the world he lives in, she is his equal. Great story, can't wait to see where it goes next.

Unfortunately I didn’t like this book as much as the first two so from that I won’t be continuing on to read the fourth 🫣

I love Nikolai with all my heart and I like Justine also but there was too much cringe in this book and a lot of mistakes that should of been edited out so whoever edited it needs to do it better.

Only 3 stars this time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I won’t be reading any of this authors work in the near future this book has ruined it for me.

THIS IS A REREAD!

A continuation of the first 2 books.

Again, super spicy, but the plot is plotting! I love Nikolai and Justine together. I love their grit, determination and willingness to leave everything behind to be with each other. I love how they are constantly fighting for each other even though everyone wants to tear them apart.

Plus, in the background you have constant mistrust of characters, you don’t know who to count on and the bad guys are truly bad guys.

Good ending.

I love love love that Nikolai stayed a exactly who he was. A lot of this ‘bad boy’ stories they do an about face when they fall in love. Which drives me crazy. He stayed exactly who he was. Which means you had an action pack ending to the trilogy. It kept you flipping pages until there were none left to flip.

The series picked up for sure. I loved Justine she becomes a real badass by the end of the series . I loved that. Nikolai is a straight up badass who would do anything to protect his ahren . I loved how the series ended . I was pulled in and couldn’t wait to figure out how it was going to end . If you love fast paced , steamy, and dark romances then this book is for you .
