This book came out after an exceptionally long wait so it took a while to get back into the story. Honestly it took about 1 or 2 chapters to get back into the swing of plot.

Well written, with amazing imagery this book was worth every day of wait. Now with the book ending at a cliffhanger I can't wait for the next one to come to my way.

If you thought the first book was amazing, just wait until you dive into the pages of this second installment of the series. Enlightened by Magic definitely takes this series to the next level of suspense, excitement, danger, and intrigue. This book picks up where the first left off with Kat and the guys searching for Slade and plotting to get him back. Katarina’s skills and powers are growing and she is starting to embrace who she is becoming. Acceptance and understanding play a big part in her ability to do what needs to be done and face what is ahead. With the guys at her side, what could possibly go wrong? The suspense and action hold a strong, steady presence in the story and there is a shocking twist that will make you say “wow!” I was definitely not expecting it and I look forward to seeing how that plotline plays out in the next book.

This book, like the first, is written from multiple POV’s and really gives an insight into each character’s thoughts, feelings, and reasons behind their actions. I especially liked Slade’s POV at the beginning of the read; he and Jax are my two faves out of the group. I look forward to seeing Kat’s bond with them and the others solidify more in the next installment. This is a reverse harem read so we get to see her relationships develop with each of the guys separately on a more intimate level and collectively to strengthen their bond.

Once you get wrapped up in the pages of this book there is plenty of excitement to hold your attention until the end. I was captured from the first page and could not put it down. I was so absorbed in the characters and storyline I just had to see what was going to happen next. There is a lot of fun to be had amidst the pages of this great read!

Absolutely loved this - The book starts with Slade being tortured and the storey continues with Katerina, Roark, Jax, or Quinn trying to find and save him before he dies. There are twists and turns galore, some that you can see coming and others that catch you by surprise leaving you thinking WTF. Yes, it is a Reverse Harem, but it is also a very good Urban Fantasy story line with fabulous characters that draws you in and completely envelopes you in the storey, so much so that you really can’t put the book down. I can highly recommend this book and the previous book in the series for wonderful reads.

Enlightened by Magic just upped the Guardians of Magic series. I really enjoyed book one, but book two steps it up a notch. There is so much that happens in this one. We get more action, twists and turns, and we get more word building in this one. The story flowed more smoothly here, and yeah I was not expecting who the bad guy was. Always enjoy those surprises, where you cannot guess who the bad guy is. Katarina and her guys are looking for Slade and trying to figure out how to get him back. They are moving forward as a unit and that was nice to see progress.
Book two has stepped it up from one, and if you are looking for a good paranormal read, give this series a try.

First my only complaint is that I would of liked a recap of the first book since it was a long break between the two but other then that I really enjoyed this book. I loved how the author/authors wrote it. I love reading about Kat and her wonderfull interesting adventures with her guardians. I loved the twist in this book, I was not expecting that to of happened. I love how the 4th guardian was more involved in this book. I cat wait for the next book.

I hadn’t read the first book, but I fell in love with this immediately! It took some time to catch up to what was going on, but I don’t think it took away from it at all. It drew me in and I couldn’t put it down and in a day I was done and wanting more! I love the guardians and Katarina and look forward to see what else Kay can do! Now to read the first book lol

I loved this, I never would have guessed who the villain was. No, I am not telling you have to go read it. The author did an amzing amazing job. It has suspense, drama, love, and action. Bow chica wow wow. Ok both kinds of actions. I want my own Gargoyle or 4. But Roark is my favorite. I can't wait to read the next book.

Great story

This book picks up right where book one ends. Kat and her guardians are still looking for the missing witches, supernaturals and most importantly Slade, the missing brother/guardian of their group. I really enjoyed the mystery and intrigue of this series. Who do you trust? Who is actually on your side? While we get a few of our questions answered, so many more are left that need answered. I can't wait to find out more.

Enlightened by Magic

"At this point, I knew nothing I said would change her mind. As much as I hated to do this, I had to push her to use her powers. I believed in her. Now, I needed her to believe in herself." - Jax

Katarina a reaper... And something more... Katarina was an ordinary girl, just wanting to have a good time out with her friend, when her entire world was upended. The discovery that she was a supernatural creature, a reaper no less, was enough to make her question her entire life. Add in the freaky magic that the dying Samara had gifted her with... Well, Katarina was having issues adjusting to her new normal.

If that WASN'T enough, Katarina now had four incredibly handsome hunky males guarding her and helping her to discover exactly WHAT she is becoming....

"The veil was on the brink of destruction. That was why Samara asked Katarina, my brothers, and me to meet her in the witch realm. It was located in the west, far enough away from the coven, but it was no guarantee we would go undetected. Should we happen across Rayna’s guards patrolling the area, they would ask questions." - Roark

With Slade still missing, Roark, Quinn and Jax, as well as Katarina must come to terms with their emotions regarding each other. They must find a way to complete the bond; if they don't, Slade, Rose and Natasha will be lost. Katarina is desperately trying to discover where Slade is being held, but he doesn't know. Windowless, dark, damp; it could be anywhere, anywhen. Willing to try anything to find the answers, Katarina and the other guardians undertake a dangerous journey, one that puts them and their realms, in utmost jeopardy....

Oh my! Steamy and action packed, Enlightened by Magic is a fast paced and fun read!

Katarina is learning her reaper and witch powers with her Guardians. She has found a connection to Slade that is getting stronger every time she speaks to him. Her relationships with Jax has been close but the others remain distant. They are under attack after thinking they are in a safe place. They work with Samara, Katarina's Uncle, Her grandmother to help her with her powers and her guardians.
Her uncle gives her a reaper to help her with her reaper powers, helps with Samaras memory loss. She remembers who killed her and who tooks Slade. They all remember this person.
They will team up to find Samaras book of Shadows, but they are confronted by the high priestess, after they are attacked by her guards. She wants Katarina, she doesn't realize that Katarina is no longer a human and has a powerful person standing with her.
They all come together to find Slade and others they found out that are missing. They are confronted by the dark mage that has done all of this. It is the last person one of the Guardians would have thought of.
Will they be able to save Slade and all the others that are being tortured by this Dark Mage, who at the council is behind this, Who is this Dark Mage really.
Will Katarina be able to connect with all her guardians before it is too late.
This book keeps a great pace with action, keeps you guessing about who is involved, the pull between Katarina and the Guardians is great,
Can't wait to see what the next book brings for Katarina, the Guardians, Samara and others.

After settling the situation a bit with her magic and new status as a supernatural, Katarina has a new task at hand - reunite with all of her guardians. Including Slade, who is kept prisoner at unknown place, tortured and weakened day by day. But Samara's magic and his connection to Katarina can bring him back. Only, he is not the sole prisoner at that place. And someone is trying to murder Katarina. Aside from the complications coming from the bond between Kat and her guardians.
Very nice continuation of this series, for me a bit slower in the middle but speeding up again at the end of the book, hooking me up successfully for the next book. Seeing the five of them finally all together was worth the wait, and I really love the changes in the interactions between Kat and the gargoyles. They are all very interesting characters, changing and maturing at each twist and turn of the story, and the challenge now put in front of Kat from Draven's side escalated the intensity and the tension in the plot. I am certainly looking forward to the next installment.

As a rule I am not a big fan of shifter novels but this book pulled me right in as with other books by Kelli. I started reading and just couldn't put it down. This is the second book in the series and was a great continuatin of Abducted.

This book dives into more detail and introduces us to more characters and even Dragon shifters. We learn in this book who killed Kat, we meet the last Guardian and learn that who we thought were villains in the first book really aren't. We also see Kat come into more of her power and how much she actually has.

This book was spectacular as well and I cannot wait to read the next one (hopefully there is one)! One of the things about Kelli's work is that she likes to leave us with cliffhangers which leave us wanting more. Overall, this is an awesome read and don't pass it by if it is not necessarily what you normally would read.

I was offered an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

PHENOMENAL! This book was action packed and full of twists and turns I did not see coming! The mystery, the intrigue, the suspense that had me teetering at the edge of my seat. This book was a wild ride full of energy that kept me grasping at each moment as it came.

The connection and chemistry between Katarina and her guardians is absolutely electric! As much as they may accept or try to ignore the bond there is no denying that the connection they have is special and unbreakable. Each of them, Katarina, Jax, Quinn and Roark bring such a powerful presence to this story. Each a unique character bringing a special flair of life to the book.

Then add in the other characters like Samara, Draven, Zander, Nicholai, Mathias, etc. and you have one heck of a jammed packed, exciting story that any reader can devour and get lost in!

I need book 3 in my life! This series has consumed every waking thought and I can’t wait for more!

ONE EXHILARATING RIDE!!!
Wow! All the chaos and mayhem set the pace in this magical bombshell. One spiraling eddy of turbulent events and vexing circumstances catapults this gems stormy emotions bursting to life smoothly. This is one jaw dropping, mind blowing treat that paves the way over rocky, rolling and rough treads. Sparks fly as intrigue and suspense ensues in epic proportions as you flip page after page. Pushing through trials and tribulations trying to stay a step ahead and running out of time. The characters are authentic, relatable and realistic with such depth and personalities it's like you can just reach out and touch them. The scenes are written with such realism there's no trouble interpreting each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Amazing job guys, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

Enlightened By Magic is the second book in this wonderful series immediately continuing on from Abducted By Magic. I definitely recommend you read these books in order. Kat now has magical powers, has become reaper and has four sexy guardians. However one is missing and in danger and they have to find him fast.
This book, and series, has hooked me from the very start. The main characters are brilliant, well rounded and flawed. The secondary characters are integral to the story and some are surprising to say the least. The bonds between Kat and her individual guardians are gentle, sweet and intense. The bond between them all will be irreparably damaged if they cannot find Slade in time.
They also have a murder to solve.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough and eagerly await the next one.

This book jumps right in where book 1 left off. I was a bit slow to catch up with the story, since I've slept some since I read book 1. Once I finally caught up, it flowed very fast & held my attention. I think considering the plot, it almost feels a bit slow burn, and the sex scenes were not over the top crazy. I like Kat, and the 4 gargoyles, though I feel like there's a lot more to learn about them than has been presented in the books so far. I felt 2 of them needed some more fleshing out to make them a bit more 2 dimensional though. I was not able to guess too much of the story, which was a bonus to helping enjoy the it. There were some typos, that did cause a few hiccups for me though. Looking forward to book 3.

This book was a great sequel and kept you interested throughout the story. I love Rh that give you POVs for all the characters. Personally I feel like I can connect with the characters much better that way and understand their actions better. The mythology of the world was only briefly touched on and not much interaction with the other witches or gargoyles that aren’t part of the MCs’ inner circle. I felt like the Katarina’s backstory could be flushed out more, her parents aren’t even mentioned anywhere.. what happened to them, who are they? Overall it was a great book with a fantastic ending dialogue line.

Absolutely amazing!!! I was anxiously waiting for this second installment of "Guardians of Magic" and all I can say is WOW!!! Katarina has a lot on her plate. She has to learn to control her powers not only as a witch but as a reaper as well, while trying to find a way to save Slade and fix her relationship with her guardians/mates, who still try to deny their connection.

An action-packed magical adventure, full of suspense, magic, danger, and scorching hot scenes between Katarina and her mates. Will they save Slade? And will Katarina have the same connection with him as with his brothers? Read on and find out. I'm certainly anxious for the next installment!!!

OMG, we have mystery, suspense, threats, confusion and heartache. Granted I did cry in a spot. Katerina is trying to find Slade, on of her guardians. Now she is a witch and a reaper. Her uncle has made threats to her guardians and her Grandma is not much help. Now there is a tear in the veil can she help close it? Can she save Slade with time running out for him? Can they find who is doing this? Can her Uncle help? Will her guardians except that they are fated to her? Can she help Samara and her mates? So much going on can't wait for the next book.

This is book 2 of the Guardians of Magic and it’s getting exciting, the guys are still resisting Kat but it’s getting harder for them and they are still searching for Slade. I don’t want to give out too many spoilers because I don’t want to ruin it for you but I will say that I loved this series and I can’t wait to read the next book and this story starts from where book 1 had finished. It’s full of action, suspense, danger, mystery, intrigue, romance and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. Amazing story but it ends in a cliffhanger boo lol but I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Wait!? No more book? WhY?

I almost gave up on both the first and second book half a dozen times. Much like Kat reading Samara's journal though my eyes just kept getting dragged to the next word until, suddenly, no more words. The book is over? I have to wait for more!? WHHHYYY!?

SO YEAH. There may be points where you feel like you're just gonna quit, but trust me. Don't. This work will suck you in and leaving you a squealing blubbering mess on your floor asking the gods why you didn't find the series after it was complete. Cause now you gotta wait. Lol So excited for the next installment!

Enlightened by Magic is the second book in the Guardians of Magic series and I loved it! Katarina is desperate to find Slade now that she has finally connected with him, with her three fated mates, the help of the ancestral magic Samara gave her and her new Reaper status; she races to rescue Slade and the other missing supernaturals before it’s too late. This series is full of adventure, twists and turns, is fast paced and action packed. If you love reading about magic and shifters then this series is for you. I can’t wait to read more about Katarina and her men.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review.  This one is even more intense that the first book in the series. A guardian is still missing. Kat is learning to accept the changes that are going on with her. She is growing closer to the guardians but that are keeping their distance because of their vow. There are just enough twists and turns and surprises that keep this book interest. There was a lot that happened that I thought I saw coming, but that was not how it played out at all. I want more.

Enlightened By Magic is book two of the Guardians of Magic series and picks up where book one left off and if you read book one then you were probably like me and excited for book two. In this book the characters are developing and I like that we get multiple characters POV. This action packed, suspenseful story has some unexpected twists that surprised me. I am looking forward to the next book in this series to find out what happens next for all of the characters. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Serious question/ May include spoiler

I really like where this is going and the series is going good, but I have a serious question. What the heck does the necklace mentioned in book 1 have to do with anything? The one her grandma said to keep and is hidden in a dresser drawer. She mentions it and it hasn't been brought back up. So does it really hold any importance, or is it just an empty trinket that just got mentioned? Cause the first book made it sound like it was gonna be important!!!

Stunning!!!!!!!

Well this story certainly was a doozy. It jammed packed with action, drama, suspense and mystery. It has twists and turns throughout it. The characters are amazing and their personalities are felt throughout the story. It is extremely well written and it does an amazing job explaining things throughout it. This one definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. The ending was such a shocker and yes, it also ends in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Thank goodness I started this on my day off as I read the whole book in one day as I couldn't put it down. This paranormal romance has it all -- suspense, action, romance, danger and intrigue involving witches, reapers, shifters, gargoyles, mages, gods, and ghosts. Excellent character development and an awesome story. Highly recommend that you read both books in this series and am so looking forward to book 3.

Gah, a cliffhanger

I don't even know where to start with this one. I honestly didn't forsee the 'bad' guy in this one. Like I wasn't even close, but that makes the story all the better in my eyes. Twists and turns kept me wanting more. I can't pick who is my favorite guardian it is a toss up between Slade and Rourk I think. Who knows it might just change after the next installment comes out. I am still wanting stories on secondary characters to continue to develope.
