I write and illustrate books for children. I love to laugh, I love to have fun. I do not have time for mean people. Life is too short to not do what you love for a living. Or deal with mean people.

I like smiling. It's my favorite.

My 4 year old son with autism LOVES this book. We read it a lot and he even wants me to draw the faces of the different feelings on the driveway when we play with sidewalk chalk. I think it really helps him differentiate between the different feelings other people might be experiencing, which is something he struggles with.

I liked that this book went through several different feelings and suggested ways to react to them. When you're feeling friendly, wave. When you're feeling angry, count five seconds. Feelings are hard for children (and even for adults), so having a simple, cute book full of monsters that helps you identify your feelings and what to do with them can be helpful.

An innocent way to approach feelings and the positive outcomes that come with dealing properly with what those feelings do for us.

I like how the book not only teaches feels, but teaches what you can do with those feelings as well.

I love this book. It gives kids examples of affective vocabulary and what one might do to cope. (Read hard copy.)
