After her first daughter was born she found her love for books all over again. Her nose always stuck in a book reading all the romance books she could find. Sometimes even reading a book a day!
Fast forward a few years and her obsession grew, turning into a love of writing.

What a fun start to a new series, I was thoroughly entertained.
Jessica had no idea of her friend's secret. Arriving in town to start a new job she is uneasy with the locals strange habit of sniffing her.
Her boss Axel is Alpha of his pack and she is his mate...a human. How will she react when she finds out what he is...what most of the town is!
She's in danger and only he can save her.
I'm really looking forward to more in this series.

Jessica and Axel's Story . . .

Jessica had wanted something different, so when she lost her job, her friend Holly arranged for her to work for her brother, Axel Steele. Axel is the CEO of the company, and the Alpha of the town’s wolf pack! Jessica is a human and completely unaware that most of the town are shifters. Axel also discovers that Jessica is his mate! Human mates are not usually chosen, especially by an Alpha. But if that’s who the wolf wants, well you know he has the final say in that!

My favorite scene was at the hotel when Jessica went outside to enjoy the pool lights and two omegas in human form gave her a hard time. They intended to show her she was unworthy of Axel. Axel had been inside talking to the alpha of the Delgado pack, Joe, when he scented Jessica’s anxiety. Joe stopped him from going outside to rescue her, saying to give her a minute to prove herself. He recognized her movements and thought he knew what was going on. Sure enough, she ducked the punch one man aimed at her, then made a move on both of them, sweeping their feet out from under them, then banging their heads together. When Axel finally stepped outside, she told him he should pick a better hotel. This one had wolves wandering around nearby and now these two goons gave her a hard time. Smiling, Axel and Joe joined her back inside. Already she’s tough enough for the pack once she knows about them.

This is a fun story, especially when Axel growls as his male family members flirt with Jessica. When he finally has to let her know what he is, how will she react? Is she ready to take her place in the pack?

What A great story I love shifters and Axel and Jessica were amazing together from the start with great attitudes and lots of fun banter that lead to very sexy hot scenes.
I laughed at Axel and his possesiveiness and growling he was lovable I could just eat him up. The connection between them was unbreakable and I loved it. Great storyline and I enjoyed it very much.

Sexy beginning to a new series

Corinne Mazille has started her new series, WOODMEADOWS PACK, with a wonderfully sexy story. A secret, a wolf pack, a sexy CEO and a feisty human, all make this a captivating read.

With her parents retiring and selling their business, Jessica Anderson accepts the offer from her best friend Holly to work for her brother at Steele Enterprises. Jessica is human, and what she doesn't realise is that she is about to move to a town that holds a secret - most of the population is made up of wolf shifters. Axel Steele is the CEO of Steele Enterprises and Alpha of the Woodmeadows pack. A chance encounter with Jessica leads both Axel and his wolf to recognise that she is their mate. Then to make matters worse, when he turns up to work he finds that she is also his new assistant.

Heat, lust and undeniable chemistry between Jessica and Axel are what truly makes this a sexy read. He can't get enough of her and she can't stop thinking about him - even though he is her boss. Jessicas attempts to keep her distance from him, even at work, however Axel is relentless in his pursuit of her, he can't stay away, he even has numerous inner battles with his wolf over Jessica. I really enjoyed the chase that Axel was forced to pursue in order to gain Jessica's affection, she didn't make it easy for him at all. I loved Jessica, she was a strong feisty woman who certainly knew how to stand up and defend herself. I adored Axel, this man was everything, sexy, protective and definitely swoonworthy. I loved the way that he continually growled at any man who dared to touch Jessica, especially his brothers who like to rile him up.

A wonderful start to a new series, I can't wait to read more.

His sister Holly has arranged for her human college best friend to come live with her and fill in the position of assistant for Axel. Jessica was a human and didn’t know about the supernatural world but Holly was her best friend. The first time Axel and Jessica met him and his wolf knew she was his mate and she was extremely attracted to him. When she realized that he was her boss she tried to keep her distance but Axel was relentless. As Axel and Jessica began to explore their fun and exciting romance interesting and intriguing things began to happen to Jessica leaving her in dangerous and compromised situations. Axel, his family and his pack began to protect Jessica and his sister not knowing who was the target. A forbidden siting and bite was made then everything changed. The fun and unexpected twists and turns in the exciting story are what make it so interesting. Good read

Jess has moved and has found new work. She lives with her friend and works for that friend’s brother. She feels very attracted to the brother, which is mutual.What she doesn’t know is that she is falling in love with a wolf. How Jess reacts to everything she finds strange is described with a good sense of humor (why do people keep smelling her ).From the moment she found out the truth, I found the story to become less strong, but it remains a good read. Likeable characters, a bit of spice and action. I do really like the cover.

This story is by a new author to me and I can’t wait to read more from her. Jessica, a human, is thrown into the middle of a werewolf pack when she takes up her old college roommate for a job working for her brother. Axel is the CEO and Alpha of the pack and he has a connection to the little human his sister just hired. Human mates have not been taken in a long time especially by an Alpha but when your wolf chooses you have to go with the mate he chooses. I love how Axel would get all growly with his brothers and father for flirting with Jessica. And when she would give him attitude was the best. The chemistry between Axel and Jessica is off the charts. But how will she react when basically the whole town has been keeping a very big secret from her?

Axel and Jessica's story of a best friend and the best friend's brother, and the secret that has been kept from Jessica by her best friend. Axel is the ceo of the company and the alpha of his town. He never expected his sisters friend to be his mate. However she isn’t aware of the things that go on. When a threat to Jessica is given secrets are about to be exposed.
I'm not normally a shifter reader but I must admit I did enjoy this story and would read more from the series.

The world corinne has created is both fascinating and compelling.
Jessica is thrust into an unimaginable situation.
Axel is one hot alpha who has his eyes set on Jessica right from the start. Jessica is a very relatable character, she's quirky and fun.

I thought this was a unique and interesting storyline. The interactions between her character and her friends brother were intense and laced with chemistry. I loved the way he responded to some of the attention she drew. It was a delightful story from an author who is new to me.

This is not my usual read. I don’t read paranormal at all. In saying that I really enjoyed axel and Jessica’s story. This story has the romance, sexy times, shifter and suspense. What a great start to a brand new series.

Great start!
I’m just starting to get into shifter romance novels- there’s just the animal quality of them, with the extra strong senses, that I really like. I still struggle with most inst-love stories though. However, Corinne did amazingly well with this novel. I did feel there could’ve been a little more world-building through Axel’s POV, but it was still a great start to this series.

Jess is physically strong already, and after years of training in martial arts, knows how to look after herself. She still has her girly moments but she’s otherwise a strong character.

Axel, as an Alpha pack leader, already has the dominant role worked out but he’s a little over women falling at his feet. When he realises Jess- a human, is his mate, he needs to exercise all of his control so he doesn’t scare her off. This leads to some HOT and steamy scenes.

Corinne has set up the storyline brilliantly. While there is suspense and angst in this book, she has also set up another storyline to continue through other books. This is a great first foray into pnr/shifter romance and I look forward to more.

This was a really enjoyable paranormal romance. I loved the premise of Axel, a shifter CEO and alpha, and his new assistant, Jessica, who has no clue about the magical world that she finds herself in.

Axel is everything a hot, alpha wolf should be, and Jessica may not be a shifter, but I love a heroine who can look after herself. There’s insta-attraction and great chemistry between these two.

The secondary characters provide plenty of drama and humour. Axel’s brothers and his best friend, Mason were funny and totally swoon-worthy. I’m hoping they will get their own stories in the future.

At times, I felt the pace of the story dragged. There’s only so many times the hero can be told he needs to tell his mate who and what he truly is and fail to do so before it becomes frustrating.

This is a magical world where secrets and jealousies have devastating consequences, but where friendship and love can overcome almost anything…I received a cooy of this book from the author via the Quirky Blind Date with a Book

I seem to be on a shifter/PRN run this month.

Claimed By The CEO is the first book I've read by this author and I will be adding them to my watch list for future books about this family (fingers crossed).

What I enjoyed about this story.

1. It was a quick and easy read

5. There doesn't appear to be any hidden agenda in this story.

But she doesn't know it's holly's brother she is to work for.

There's heat and passion between Jess and Axel but she doesn't know what they are , what will she think when she does.

I enjoyed this Fated/Mated book a great deal. While the concept of a human female being mated to a shifter male is not new the way this was written kept you intrigued and interested enough even if you could see who the villain was a long time before the hero did. Well plotted and written with just enough heat to keep me well and truly entertained
