Katie. Fiery, bright, stubborn.

This woman is all about living life to the fullest, taking every opportunity and seizing the day. But when it comes to the man that she loves she’s not so sure that she’s ready to risk it all. Is he the one? Is there even just one person for everyone?

Evan. Shy, fierce, introverted.

He’s got his sights set on her, it’s been that way for a while now but what can you do when the one person you love most in the world can’t commit? He doesn’t understand her anxiety about their hidden relationship.

He’s sick of hiding but he’s been doing it upon her request. She’s worried that she’s missing out on the life she’s supposed to be leading. Is her desire to be free enough to push them apart? Is his faith enough to hold them together?

Hi! I'm Chelsea, an author of contemporary romance. I write anything from PNR to Mafia to sweet small-town romance. Simply put, I write what I like to read.

I love to read, write, travel, lift heavy weights and spoil my puppy. When I'm not writing, I'm in the gym prepping for Strongman competitions or working as a Group Exercise Instructor.

In 2018, I released my debut novel Lunar Accord and that began my writing career. I currently have over 15 books published and plan to hopefully release many more.

Survive Me is the perfect example as to why I love Chelsea McDonald!

I'm absolutely shocked at the mini roller coaster McDonald was able to create within this short novella. I had so many different emotions happening in my head and it I'm still amazed, she was able to cause this. Katie and Evan's story is steamy, intense, humorous at times, and angsty. My heart hurt for them both when Katie broke up with him. You could tell neither of them wanted it, but she still felt she needed it.

The wedding had my heart hurting and my laughing out loud. Evan's new moto - "I'm not a stalker. I'm not a stalker. I'm not a stalker." Katie's mental question, "I wonder if she'd think so highly of him if she knew what a freak he was in bed." - I wanted to scream while I was laughing.- Because we all know she would have wanted him more. And let's not forget the slap that Katie got from the girl at the bar in the bathroom. I mean no one wants to get slapped, definitely not in a dirty bathroom, but add in the fact she had no idea who she was.

"Well, you know what they say, a prince in the street equals a freak in the sheets. I'm just saying after seeing what Evan can, this statement has never been more accurate.

You can’t help but fall in love with each Katie and Evan. I loved everything about this book! I’m still amazed by the way Chelsea McDonald is able to evoke so many emotions in such a short amount of time. And let’s talk about that title, it was absolutely accurate. All the stars for McDonald and Survive Me.

Chelsea McDonald has nailed it! This book has all the feels that you would expect in a full-length novel but she’s somehow managed to create those emotions in this amazing Novella.

I loved Katie and Evan’s journey. It was full of angst, discovery and chemistry!!! Their relationship definitely has its bumps, but you can feel the love flow from the pages.

I loved Evan’s character and heart, he knew that Katie was the only one for him and he wasn’t shy from expressing his feelings, whether that was disappointment or love, he wore his heart on his sleeve.

Katie’s character broke my heart. She was so lost in her feelings that she was scared accepting the fact that Evan had her heart. She made some touch decisions, ones that could potentially chance both her and Evan’s life’s, but she was such a beautiful character to read. You could understand her struggles and my heart went out to her!

Survive me is a book that you can’t help but love!! Chelsea has been able to create relatable characters that evoke emotions and their struggle as a couple highlight issues or questions that I’m sure most couples ask themselves. This is a story about love but also a story about identity and believing in yourself! I love the title and cover for this book, both have captured the heart of this story!

Well done Chelsea, I can’t wait to read more in your Vibration Series. Be sure to check out the other books in this serious, they are just as amazing as this book is!

Katie and Evan's story really resonated with me. I loved how the other characters appear in the story as well because I loved them in the other novellas. The ups and downs of their interactions in the story really hit home. What happens when you aren't the same page about the status of your relationship? How can doubt and fear ruin a good thing? Chelsea really puts humanity in her characters. I got mad, I yelled, I felt horrible and cheered throughout this story. It's a great, quick read. A always her stories never disappoint.

This was a great quick read. Sometimes the grass might be greener on the other side but this time, it’s really not. All you needed was right in front of you if you were strong enough to take it.

This is the story of Evan and Katie and is quite short, but just because it's a short story doesn't mean it lacks anything. Katie frustrated me and made me want to shake her. As my mother would say "she needs a good kick up the backside". Great characters and a great story with characters from previous books included too.
