i read this box set as part of an arc program. This set includes the books Knot the Broseph, Knot the Ex, Knot the Manny, Knot the Enemy and Knot the Sheriff.
Knot the Broseph- This is the story of childhood best friends who are in love with each other and want to be more. Nyle is the alpha of his pack and is in love with Seph. Seph is an omega and in the military. Nyle wants to confess his feelings for Seph and hopes he will be his fated mate. When Seph returns home after being gone for two years, they go on the pack run on the full moon and when they return, Seph goes into his first heat. The other alphas all notice and Nyle sends them all away, promising he will look after Seph. Seph is in love with Nyle and hopes to tell him how he feels, but his heat came first. When Seph begs Nyle to help him through his heat, he tells him it will be a one time thing and it will help him. Nyle and Seph give into their feelings and afterward, Nyle panics and leaves for a run through the snow. They are snowed in and soon learn they are fated mates. When Seph is overjoyed and ready to continue their relationship, Nyle is scared and seems to pull away.
Knot the Ex- Grayson is an alpha who is starting to get even more lonely after watching his friends find their fated mate and he is alone. Grayson misses his former love Harvey, who left four years before to go to medical school. Harvey and Grayson were in love, but they were not fated mates and parted. Years later after a trip to the ER, Grayson is shocked to find Harvey back in Howling Hills. When Harvey sees Grayson, it takes everything he has not to try and get him back. Harvey is an omega sn has always wondered what if in case of Grayson. When Harvey's car break down the next day, fate has him going to Grayson's garage for help. Grayson and Harvey talk and end up back at Harvey's house and over pizza and beer, Harvey confesses how much he missed Grayson. When Harvey's heat hits, Grayson is more than happy to help him through it, causing them to realize they are meant to be. But things happen leading to Grayson wondering if Harvey really wants to be with him and will stay.
Knot the Manny- Thorne is a single father to Mason, after his wife Molly died in childbirth, and he works in construction, but is finding it harder to raise Mason while working. Thorne decides it is time to look to hire help and he wants a manny because he wants the only woman in his son's life to be his wife, he doesn't want him calling another woman Mommy. When Mason loses his beloved elephant Lovie, it is found by an omega named Logan. Logan sends a message on social media in hopes of finding Lovie's owner and when he meets Thorne and Mason to return the toy, Thorne offers Logan the manny job. Logan looks after his ill grandmother and he just lost his job working with a disabled child at school, so he thinks the manny job is perfect. Mason and Logan bond right away and when Logan's grandmother dies, he needs a place to live, so Thorne asks him to move in. Soon they settle into a routine and everything is going well, except Logan has a crush on Thorne, but knows he is straight. Thorne is starting to realize he has feelings for Logan, and he is ready to admit he is also attracted to men. When they go out one night, Logan goes in heat and Thorne takes him home where they can't fight their feelings anymore. But Thorne feels like he is betraying his late wife and he needs time to decide if he can be with Logan.
Knot the Enemy- Devan is an alpha who is about to get his won reality show about visiting different restaurants and talking about the food. Devan is happy for the show, but when he learns the producers added his nemesis Ori to join him, he is not impressed. Ori is an omega and also trained as a chef with Devan. Devan and Ori competed with everything and Devan usually won. Ori hated Devan and Knows they are going to disagree on everything. When Ori goes into heat the night before they are to film a big episode, Devan decides to help him out. Ori knows he has to have sex to stop his heat, or he won't be able to film the show. Both Devan and Ori are even more shocked to find out they are fated mates when Devan knots Ori. They hate each other, but fate seems to think they should be together, so they have to try and figure out how.
Knot the Sheriff- Shane gets a call from Thorne to go to the hospital because his friend is about to have a baby. When Shane goes to leave his house, he finds a baby boy on his doorstep. Shane thinks it is a joke and calls Thorne, only to realize it is no joke when he finds a note. The note is addressed to Shane and asks him to raise the baby because he is an omega and will be killed by his pack. Shane feels a strong desire to protect the baby, so he calls the Sheriff to come and see what he can do about keeping him. Sheriff Brady is an omega, he is older than Shane and he was abandoned as a baby himself. Brady grew up in different foster homes and doesn't belong to a pack. When Brady sees the baby, he falls in love instantly with him. Brady tells Shane he can adopt the baby he named Blaine by way of the shifter council and he should be able to keep him. Brady offers to help Shane with the baby after work and stops to pick up some baby items Shane will need. they develop a friendship and work together to care for the baby. When the full moon comes, Shane invites Brady to go to the lodge for the run and to help care for the baby. The attraction between Shane and Brady is growing and soon they can't fight it any longer. When they mate, it comes to light they are fated and Shane bits Brady, bonding them, but Brady is scared to move in with Shane. Brady thinks Shane will change his mind and abandon him like everyone else did. Brady also learns there is a pack in town looking for a kidnapped omega baby that belongs to them. Brady knows they are looking for Blaine and vows to protect him.
I loved this series. I loved all five of the books and the stories of how the alphas found their loves. There is also a free prequel available. Great series.
