As Bea rescue that kitten I felt sorry for Bea. She loved animals and she was banned from having them in the royal palace but she doesn't let that stop her from keeping them. As she hides a mouse under her bed Tiger isn't the first animal in this house. As she saves animals This book is just like the rescue princesses but one princess alone. She saves animals that lead her into a adventure that she can't say no too. Tiger was a very cute cat and if I was Bea I would name her Tiger. Alfie almost gives the game away but luckily Bea finds an excuse.

Princess Bea finds a little kitten who she takes home secretly to look after, only hiding a kitten is hard work in a royal palace and as her dad the king isn't keen on pets especially, she has her work cut out to even try to convince him.

However as a dramatic turns of events occurs, the little kitten just might prove to be strong, noble and brave, all the makings of a royal pet possibly?

I love the premise of a princess wanting to help save pets and Bea is the role model for the growing kids nowadays I hope it will inspire them to want to help animals too. It was a quick simple read and with plenty of animal fun.

This is a super-cute little story with a message for young readers from an author of The Rescue Princesses which they may recognise.

This story of kindness and responsibility has secret messages of the realities of owning a pet which is pretty much on message for this age group who are often just as animal mad as Princess Bea is!

Bea makes mistakes, she doesn’t always make the best choice or one that fits the rules but she has a good heart and tries to do what she feels is the right thing. This is a great way to show children everyone makes mistakes but we can overcome them.

This one took us a long time to read as the small one kept getting distracted and wanting to read other books.

It's cute that the princess wants to save animals, but it's very specific and most of the book is centred around hiding the kitten away from the family and staff in the castle.

The book seems like it could have been written by AI. The whole plot involves hiding things from the all the grown ups. Absolutely do not recommend and I’m upset it was on my daughter’s summer reading list. Please read these books first teachers before making the kids read them.

I Like Princess Beatrice because she is nice to animals and she was good to her brother when he fell and cut his knee.
I like Prince Alfred because he helped his sister with her things.

Appropriate for: all ages!

My 4 year old daughter loves Princess of Pets and so do I! It had a good story with a good moral. The pictures were cute, I only wish there were more of them.

I personally liked her Kitty series better, but this was ok for a kids book. I wouldn't mind having to read more to my daughter.
