Something is killing the people around the Free Oasis, and Jack isn’t going to let that happen.
When a new ally arrives from the east, Jack will set his plan in motion to create an army capable of taking Kassos, a city where slavery and lies rule over all.
When further exploration of the desert reveals an enemy who has been out of sight for centuries, the clues will lead to an ancient evil using humans as a resource and technology as a weapon.
Join Jack and his new women as they launch a campaign to take Kassos, rid the land of fear, and make the Free Oasis into a power that goes well beyond their borders.
The time for battle is now, and Jack will be leading from the front.

Well finally finished book 5 of the series, and by this stage I was getting confused. I wasn't sure I was reading Conan the Barbarian or extracts from Penthouse Forum. Basically the story can be summarised by two words: fighting and fucking. Almost every chapter had a sex scene that would give Mills and Boon a run for it's money.
Admittedly it appealed to my testosterone filled inner teenage boy that I'd left behind long ago. I did after all finish the box set, though I am not sure whether that was through enjoyment or the fascination of watching a good series turn into a futuristic train wreck.
At the end of the day I KNOW I am reading science fiction. Hey I can live with futuristic monsters like house sizes armored snails that suck a person up and shit them out. I can even live with underground elf like humans that have somehow survived and prospered despite 2000 years of warlords and mutated beasts wanting them dead only to totally surrender their kingdom after a single sexual exchange with Jack (or two if you count the deceptive almost twin sister playing tag), but I cannot for the life of me imagine a world where the main character can screw every beautiful woman he meets then take her as his (what wife, concubine, lover possession) without at least one of the other girls wanting to bitch slap the living crap out of him, the new girl or both... Instead they just smile and joke and everything is alright.
This series was my introduction to Daniel Pierce's work, and the "Future" books remain the best of his work in my opinion. I really can't think of a lot to comment on, as I like the characters and the story, and the writing and pacing are very good. Some very minor typos, if I had to find something slightly negative, but it's way better in that regard than many books in this pulpy genre.
If you liked the previous books you may find this one stronger (in a good way) than a couple of them, as it moves things along nicely.
The story continues to grow and develop in a unique way.
I enjoyed reading this book and really enjoyed how the story sucked me into the book. The pacing was good and the action scenes are fun to read. The unveiling of the Procs as a group that might be from before the fall puts some interesting backstory to the story. Overall it was fun to read.
Taking a post virus wasteland is hard but with the right tools and some determination it can be done. More beautiful ladies who are incredibly talented and stick to our hero like glue. The Proc's are going to be dealt with and more of this blasted world is reveled.I I still enjoy this series immensely. Can't wait for more.
Have read all the books so far. Absolutely awesome. Have to wait for the next new but want now!! All the stories grab you from the beginning and don't let go until the very end and even its just a little. Hopefully the stories in his other series are as good as these. Thank you for sharing your world's with us.
This is my favorite series from Daniel Pierce, and great post apocalyptic fiction. Plenty of action and science is what makes this a step above most harem stories. Sure it's pulp, but it's a lot of fun! Look forward to the next one!
Daniel's words can and do not like a rapier, ironic, funny, sexually and deadly. This story is very very good as usual.Thank you Mr Pierce. PS someone needs to correct the on going typo errors.
I just love this series. The world created in this series is just incredible, especially the beasts. I couldn’t put it down and now I can’t wait for the next book.
An excellent book. This could be the end of the series but I sincerely hope that it is not. If there is a new book to come out I look forward to getting it.
I hope there will be more I enjoyed this epic hope next book all dude's bad ass babes get suped up also what's up with weird mars from banging that wolf chick
The series was quite interesting however it's looking like the author no longer writes anything as nothing has been done post 2019......so looks like these will remain unfinished.
Another excellent addition to the series. The stories just keeps getting better and better. I find it extremely difficult to put the iPad down once I start reading the story.
