The quest of the Seven Swords has been a trap all along. For the dark elven tyrant known as the Sovereign will use the power of the Swords to ascend to godhood and enslave the world for all time. And only Ridmark Arban stands in his way...
Standing over six feet tall, USA Today bestselling author Jonathan Moeller has the piercing blue eyes of a Conan of Cimmeria, the bronze-colored hair of a Visigothic warrior-king, and the stern visage of a captain of men, none of which are useful in his career as a computer repairman, alas.
He has written the DEMONSOULED series of sword-and-sorcery novels, and continues to write THE GHOSTS sequence about assassin and spy Caina Amalas, the COMPUTER BEGINNER'S GUIDE series of computer books, and numerous other works. His books have sold over one million copies worldwide.
Oh my goodness. I am almost at a loss for words with this book. The action picked up quickly, immediately after the last book and kept accelerating to a climax that was extremely long and very drawn out, easily half the book, and just as delicious. The final battle did not disappoint, and bringing back characters from the first series was a stroke of genius, and the resolution left me grinning an awful lot. I can't wait to start the next series set in this world.
And this series is done. It was a great read with basically non stop action. I hate to see it end but there are more Ridmark adventures in the Dragontiarna series. I’m sure I will enjoy it as much
The most enjoyable 12 book series I have ever read. I did not review individually as I thought I would see how the story panned out. Strong characters lead the charge through a story of pain and victory with sorcery and magic swords. These have been the most enjoyable books I have been engrossed in for quite some time. If you enjoy this genre I would recommend them to anyone, just make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy them because once you start the journey you will want to continue
I have been reading the Ghost stories back to back and somehow managed to completely lose track of where I was in the Sevenfold Sword series. I started reading this and realized that there was mention of events that I didn't recall. I had to go back and read Guardian to rectify this. There may be other books I read during this time period because I'm pretty sure it didn't take me 10 days to finish this. I'll make corrections if I ever figure it out.
Our heroes find themselves in such dire straits at times that I couldn't conceive of how they'd triumph. All in all a nice wrap-up and the villains get their just desserts. Calliande gets a very nice bonus. As usual there were errors in editing but what the hell, Moeller gets these books written so fast that I'm not going to complain (much) It did seem odd that in one scene Tamara rushes to be reunited with Tamlin and Kalussa speeds to Selene's side instead of Calem. (Just discovered that Kalussa isn't listed among the cast of characters at the end of the book)
Well now after after Ridmark and his family had been taken from there home and dropped in a unknown foreign land months ago. They ended up involved in a war that had been going on for 25 years. True the war shouldn't have involved them at all since it wasn't even their homeland but another country. But through all the trials, tribulations; the good and the bad the making of new friends and allies they are back home once again. Jonathan Moeller is tied with my number one author R.A. Salvatore as a couple of the greatest fantasy fiction writers. And I'm looking forward to the next 10 books in a new series by Moeller.

While this was the final in the series, I felt it dragged a bit. I think perhaps the main group should have a ' name' ( hero squad or Guardian heros) rather than naming each one individually Every time. Loved the idea of the gates and the over lap of the two Eras of Mankind. Although one could argue it breaks the " prime directive" but for the good of the world. I look forward to reading the Future adventures of the Guardian heros!!
This book was a fun read and had errors throughout. I always enjoy the characters adventures and how they overcome obstacles in each book. The overall plot and ending had a nice twist and for me was predictable, but for most it will be a fun turn in events for the plot. I look forward to the next series for these characters.
If you've read this far into the series then you already know what a great writer the author is. Well, sit back and strap on your seat belt because the ending is definitely worth the wait. He brings everything full circle leaving nothing out which is hard to do given the world's & characters he created in the series. Well worth the wait. Enjoy!
I have read all the books of Frostborn and the Sevenfold Swords and somehow it has left me with an emptiness now coming to an end. Very few can match this brilliant author’s storytelling. Keep writing Jonathan Moeller you are the best!
This was the best happy ending I have ever read. Once again Jonathan Moeller has delivered a outstanding series. Looking forward to the next in line. DRAGONTIARAS looks to be another great series. Thank you Mr. Moeller.
I have enjoyed this series. Mr Moeller your books have helped inspire me to return to my days of creating adventures for my friends and family. Your pursuit of noble bright also appeals to me. Thank you.
What a cracking end to this series, again the writer crafts some good storylines, and then adds in a few twists at the end. I enjoyed both the Frostborn series as well as the Sevenfold Sword series.
