James Hunt's passion for writing began at an early age. While his journal of yesteryear may never be the work of great fiction, he's been working hard every day since then to bring pages to life. James has well over a decade of writing under his belt, but his professional career in literature didn't take off until 2014.
James currently lives in Orlando, FL and when he's not pounding away at the keyboard you can find him at the theater or somewhere outside enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.
I tried to like this book, I really did. I slogged through it, hoping it would at least have a satisfying ending, but nope. The action in the story was painfully repetitive. I didn't care about any of the characters, I didn't even dislike anyone all that much, they were all two-dimensional. The story itself was absurd, rife with eyeroll-inducing cliches. But the very worst part of this book was the ending. It was pointless, preachy, and just plain stupid.
This book was interesting from the fist sentence. This was a spooky fun read which I could not put down. I had planned to read this in four days. Did I last four days you ask? Well no because I was so immersed in the story that I lost track of time and space. I finished this book in two day and only because I had to sleep and eat. The story was about a girl running from a past relationship to a dangerous man and she ends up working in a haunted house. I will not say more just read the book you will love it. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This one is attention grabbing from the get-go and I was so engaged in my reading that I was nearing the end of the book before I knew it, time pasted without me noticing. Basically a story of good vs evil. The apocalypse is coming and it's up to one woman to put a stop to it. But to do so, she has to figure out how - and do it before the demons from hell take over end those friend's of hers stuck in purgatory are dragged in to the depths of hell forever, and the man she didn't realize she loves turns into a reptile.
Some religious undertones, but not too bad. Just enough for us nonbelievers out here. The ending was a really cool toss, too.
Interesting concept and I liked the story overall but the inconsistencies were too much. The last little bit of the book I struggles getting through. I had gone beyond caring and just wanted it to end. The biggest issue I had was:
Spoiler She was supposed to be death 666 which would bring about the end. She escaped and then the story became that the final kill is supposed to be from the Bell family. In that case, she didnt need to even be there.

This was a fun read. It felt more like a thriller than a horror or supernatural story (even though there were plenty of ghosts and there was an evil witch). I thought the book was about to end halfway through as it seemed to be coming to a conclusion. And if it had ended then, it would have been fine. But there was more to come. I recommend it. (The version that I read was included in the "Horror in the Forest" box set.)
I did not enjoy this book atLl! I like supernatural mysteries but I like more reality truth to it. I, am , also not a fan of the “F” Word! I kept thinking the book might get better but finally gave up just reading every other paragraph! Read if you must but remember you are warned👅
I've been reading this 57 book haunted house series not to mention all the other ghost stories not in this compilation. And this one was different. In a good way. This is book 6. Book 4 or 5 I stopped reading before I finished the first chapter. Too many errors to ignore. This is more a supernatural story than a ghost story. Enjoy!
This book was just a bit far fetched for my enjoyment. It was well written and the characters acceptable. Sarah in particular was very real. I think I got a little lost I’m the repeated scenes in the forest. Not bad, just not my kind of read.
I enjoyed Mr. Hunt’s novel . The characters are completely intriguing, the plot Is definitely captivating, and the ending will keep you on the edge of your seat. Looking forward to reading other works by this author. 😊

Enjoyed the story . It left me anxious about the next twist in the plot. Made the impossible real and caused me to cheer for Sarah and the and the mess she got herself into.
I wasn't too sure about this book at first but once I got into the story I was hooked. Good verses evil. Every book, story or movie I've read or seen ends the same way. God wins.
I'm reading the haunting books in order and this one was quite different than the others. I liked it! The variety of stories adds to the thrill. I really felt for Sarah and Dell. Sarah and I share a lot in common. I'm glad I can imagine her having a HEA.
It is actually the second time I have red this book It was still fantastic as if I red the first time Interesting and engaging plot that kept me reading for hours For sure I will read all books in this series, and will me waiting for new onces
This book was okay… but definitely not my favorite. The characters were well formed and developed throughout the story. The story line was good but did not suit my personal preference regarding the supernatural aspect of this series (this was more focused on curses, demons, hell, and satan).

Took me a wee while to get into this book but once I start I try to finish. This book really started to pick up about a quarter of the way through. It was an interesting back story but the main story is what kept the pages turning.
Sarah learned a lot by going to Bell but she suffered so much too. She became a different person after all she went threw but for the better. Great story of good out does evil!
took me forever to read this book. it was summertime so I had plenty of other things to occupy my time. the book wasn't bad it just couldn't hold me long enough to read. I had to read it in bits and pieces because of time and it just didn't hold me
