I really enjoyed this parenting book b/c the author read many books on parenting and then combined the best of the best with his personal experience. I love books like this b/c I don't have the patience to read all the books on one of the hardest to master topics on the planet (parenting), and one I feel so inept at often. Jim Williams son died in a tragic accident, and this changed his mission in life. His life goal is now to help other parents be the parent he was not through this book and speaking engagements. If you like practical and to the point, you will like this book.

Went to a seminar tonight at the school where Jim Williams spoke & I got his book. He had a lot of great points... and even though I have raised my kids, now I have my grandsons living me for a while & it's dejavue all over! Hopefully this will give me more insight on what to do and not do with them.
