Cathy Bramley is the author of the best-selling romantic comedies Ivy Lane, Appleby Farm, Wickham Hall, Conditional Love and The Plumberry School of Comfort Food. She lives in a Nottinghamshire village with her family and a dog.
Her recent career as a full-time writer of light-hearted, romantic fiction has come as somewhat of a lovely surprise after spending eighteen years running her own marketing agency. However, she has been always an avid reader, never without a book on the go and now thinks she may have found her dream job!
Part two is a great read! Reading about the characters and how their personalities grow with in the book is lovely. The rebels in them all when they try to stop the sale of the house is so funny! I can not wait to read part 3 hopefully there is love in the air.

I love Cathy's books, and this story does not disappoint. In true Cathy style, she draws you in with fabulous characters, interesting plots, lovely locations and the anticipation of what will happen next. Can't beat a new Cathy Bramley story, and I can't wait for the next instalment!
I keep falling for this odd way of publishing quarter of a book. It's so irritating to then have to buy the next section. It's not like they are sequels of a fantastic story. Can't help but feel its a con to get more money off readers. Certainly wouldn't have bought it as a hardcopy book.
Loved it. Everything seems to be going wrong for Gina and her "gang". They are all desperate to save Evergreens from being sold and being homeless. But they are a force to be reckoned with and Dexter seems so nice I know everything will turn out fine in the end. I think Dexter will hot foot it back to Gina and they'll find the money to buy it. That's my theory!!
The 2nd instalment begins to go further into detail about the characters. You feel sorry for them all at times, especially Cat and her daughters. Yet at the same time they make you laugh, especially when they are thinking up antics for the main house. Can't wait to read the next instalment.
Part two of this heartwarming story. Will Gina be able to realise her dreams - can't wait for part 3 and the next chapter of her struggle to protect her home, her business and her friends............
Another winner from Cathie Bramley. Her characters are so likeable. She must have had great fun writing this book as it comes out of the pages in waves. Looking forward to reading part three.
