This is one of those books that had such a heartfelt ending that I wish we could have gotten years of epilogues. This couple had to fight so hard to get where they ended up that I feel greedy about their happiness. I adore books that make me feel that way.
What can I say about Relentless. Every title this author gives her books mean something. Thomas was truly relentless about what he wanted. I'm such a fan of guy chase girl books. Add in that he was so relentless about it made it so much better.
I'll admit that at times I struggled to forget we first new Thomas as a younger version of himself that needed to learn a lot. In this book, he's years older and much wiser but not everyone remembered that. He convinced not only me, but everyone else by the end. Great character growth was shown here.
One of the biggest reasons I love this series and anything this author writes is that she is so good about writing the Alpha heroes I love. They are always dominant. They have military training that makes them deadly, and the way they protect their women is incredibly appealing. You really got to love that strong male presence. You will not see any beta men here.
Another hit in the Alpha Bodyguard series. I can't wait for the next one!

Great read full of angst and emotional moments, some triggers for some in here with drugs,rehab, and sex trafficking all getting involved.
The characters are brilliant and it’s a wonderful story to read. Never a dull moment.

I love a younger man versus older woman trope.
Thomas, a 23 year old ex marine with a world of experience and pain behind him and Fallon, 13 years his senior, ex supermodel and a nationwide sweetheart, weary of life and those who took advantage of her.
They both were complete opposite of each other but somehow they fit. They were what both needed. Their past connection just proved that.
At times I found heroine to be naive. And her stepdaughter was a piece of work whose book I loved. I’m glad I read Summer’s book before this otherwise I wouldn’t have.
Loved their reconciliation and epilogue.
Safe & recommended.

I'm pretty sure my dislike of this book is my own darned fault. I was under the impression (due to the last book in this series) that the heroine was going to be Summer who's an 18-year-old annoying out-of-control trust fund baby with a drug problem. It's probably not what the author meant but it's what I inferred from the last novel and that left a bad taste in my mouth.
Thomas was never a character I wanted to get to know more and frankly, there are many other characters in this series (AKA Neil's nephew/cousin (?) whose name I forget that was introduced a few books ago) I would rather read about than him. He was just never on my radar. He seems nice and sweet with a rough past but that still doesn't pull me in.
Fallon was a sweet woman who tried her best and ended up with a messed up marriage and an amazing career. I didn't mind the age gap between her and Thomas. Though this is the first novel I've come across with the gap being the other way around. It had everything to be interesting but it's just not holding my attention. This is going to be a DNF for now, maybe I'll get back to it in the future and maybe I won't.

Sybil Bartel is one of those writers that truly knows how to capture romance with a true Alpha Male main character. No matter how she spins it, her writing always makes for an action packed, compelling, and entertaining read. Relentless is no exception. It pulls you in from start to finish, and as the story evolves, your perception of the characters will evolve with it. The book compels you to devour it because you want to know what happens next, but you will want to also slow down so you can savor the storyline and flow. Grab this book if you want a steamy, quick, wonderful romance with a dash of drama and heart. 5 Amazing Stars!

Thomas Knight. What a beautiful heart. This young alpha is the epitome of "old soul". I'd be lying if I said I didn't go into this book with some hesitation. I tend to like my alpha male characters older, more seasoned. I'm not too proud to admit that-- while Thomas was not my favorite of Sybil's alpha bodyguards-- I was dead wrong in pre-judging him because of his age. As a teacher, I witness young students that come from rough upbringings and because of their backgrounds, it makes them grow up faster, sometimes with a hardened heart and wisdom way beyond their years.
Thomas may look young despite the height and delicious muscles, but his life experiences have shaped him into the man he has become. A man that wanted to fight for his country but was discharged because of a disease he was born with. A man that felt he was worthless so he got involved with the wrong kind of organization yet came out on the other end with a very unique skill set...A man, despite his 23 years, had no reservations pursuing a woman 10+ years his senior because he fell in love with her and never forgot her beauty and kindness from over a decade ago.
This book is perfectly titled-- because Thomas is relentless when it comes to the heroine. Relentless in proving his worship of her. Relentless in protecting her. Relentless in loving her. Despite the age gap, this relationship just works and makes so much sense. Sybil never stops surprising me when it comes to how she matches up the main characters. Although Preston is still my favorite alpha bodyguard (with Tank in second) Thomas will always have a special place in my heart and this book had that magic recipe that only Sybil can deliver!

A medical diagnosis may have taken away Thomas’s dream of serving his country but he has found a new home at Luna and Associates. When he meets the heroine he knows that they are meant to be together and his patience and strength shines through as he will do whatever is necessary to convince her of that as well.
The heroine is trying to distance herself from a painful past but it never seems to completely set her free. She has no interest in love or a relationship and she believes that Thomas and she are completely unsuitable for each other but he is willing to show her by word and deed that he is the one person she can depend on to always be there for her.
Great characters, suspense and all the feels will have you captivated until the last page.

Oh Thomas... You ARE relentless... But it worked! Thomas is a slightly different hero than we are used to seeing from this author, but he is no less a sexy, alpha bodyguard than any other hero she has created. The heroine has been through the ringer in her past relationships. No wonder she doesn’t trust easily. But in the end, how can one not fall for the charms of Thomas?! It was no easy ride to happiness, but after it all, they were totally meant for each other. I loved this story and all the trials and tribulations that it brought. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Sybil Bartel has outdone herself within this series as a whole. I've said it so many times, but I'll continue to say it again -- Sybil is the only author to KNOW how to do alphas (don't take that out of context, I mean, unless you're Thomas then do take it out of context).

Since the first book in this series, I knew I was waiting for Thomas. I don't know how, but I just knew it. We're introduced to Thomas in book five of this series, Fearless , and man I was hoping for a book with him and Sybil delivered.
After reading every novel Sybil has written, I want to wholeheartedly confess that this is the first novel of hers that made me cry big, fat ugly tears. I had to put the book down half way through and come back to it. The emotions Thomas was feeling and the amount of emotions both him and his love interest had were killing me. I could empathize with both of them, and it hit hard for me.
Now, Thomas is not what I was expecting. He's twenty-three, suffering from an illness that got him discharged from the Marines, and he's an ex-soldier for one of the most powerful drug cartels. I was NOT expecting to love him as much as I did. He showed how relentless he truly is -- in life, in his strength, in his romance and even in his job.
Thomas was certainly a surprise and he will ruin you for any man coming your way. Because let me tell you -- Thomas is COMING!
If you're looking for a series, or even just a novel, that knows Alpha...this is it for you. This is your last and final stop. Sybil Bartel is the QUEEN of what she does, and she does alphas so well you will never go back.
>> Side note. The epilogue will.give.you.feels. Those feels in your lower tummy? Yep, those. This is the best epilogue Sybil has written to date and I've re-read it three times. And I will admit that shamelessly.

I liked the idea of an older woman/younger man combo but 13 years is a stretch. Not saying it's impossible but it's a rough idea to wrap my head around. This story has a lot of strange going on. Do people like Summer and Fallon really exist? Fallon is just a bit too unbelievable at how totally good she is. Why stay married to an asshole for 17 years then finally get a divorce? I understand she was little more than a child when they married but I would she'd have left him much earlier. I may have missed what triggered her but it apparently wasn't that important.
Summer, on the other hand, was just ridiculous. She was like any other rich bitch wrapped up in what she could get not what her actions did to other people. Spotting for a sexual slave purveyor is illegal. It's stated she was 17 when she started this but that doesn't absolve her from the lives she'd ruined. I guess she got away with it because she's young and rich and doesn't have to own her mistakes.
Thomas' expertise, enough that Luna would hire him, ... again with the wealthy dominant but at 23 this was a bit much for me to accept. I know his life had been rough and he was a cleaner for a gang leader that apparently paid VERY well. Got that. But that he was someone Luna would easily accept and hire then support through all that happens in this story. Just seems unlikely. Maybe but with no history between them it seemed more like pity because of Thomas' disease.
It takes us nearly 50% of the book to get through H/h first sexual encounters in the hotel. Those were pretty good, along the same vein as her other books. And the pacing moved along better after that. The other characters that made an appearance I always love to see, Talon, Tyler, Andre. I'll take Talon any day. :) Nothin' doin', darlin'. Nothin' doin'.
Sadly, this was a so-so read for me. The Estevez situation, the decision making by both Fallon and Summer. The lack of control the Luna & Associates men had over these two crazy ladies really got to me. I did love the ending and enjoyed the final coming together of the H/h. Glad Fallon saw what a treasure she had in a man who might be young but had lived a lifetime already and who's sole purpose in life was to make her happy.

How on earth does Ms Bartel DO IT?!
I mean, seriously, HOW?!
'Relentless' is another wonderful book with an awesome Alpha, an emotionally brittle heroine, delightful cameos by Talon, Andre, Ty, Tyler & a mysterious new (to the reader) Luna operative: Shade.
But, this story focuses on Thomas, a relative newbie to Andre's security team. And one of the only members not possessing a heavy military background (in fact, virtually none at all), security experience, targeting ability, hand-to-hand combat training, & yet, Thomas is huge, muscled, serious, focused but retains a gentleness & quiet composure, confidence & intelligence.
And the heroine is a woman Thomas is INTENSELY focused on, INTENSELY interested in & DESPERATELY wants as HIS. But, she isn't sure, or emotionally ready, in fact she is almost in a limbo type daze as she tries to put her mind into deciding just who she is & what she wants. Because up to this point she just knows who she's been & what she has, ISN'T working.
Ms. Bartel (IMO) so smoothly pulls the reader deep into her character's lives, we WANT to know their history: how did they get to this point? What in their past formed their personality? What hurdles did they surmount? What hurdles remain to be overcome? And most importantly: Will they overcome them? Because we are on tenterhooks throughout the book hoping against hope they will.
There is heartache, heartbreak, danger, death, suspense in the plot. Action & scenes that will cause the reader to tear up, to smile, to bite their lip. But there is also tenderness that is deeply heartwarming & beautifully intense. Caring & possessiveness that thrills. Characters the reader is invested in & intrigued by. And the sizzling steam CRACKLES off the page.
So buckle up readers, because Thomas' story will swirl you into Ms. Bartel's superb story & won't release you until the very last page.

From the very first page of Relentless I was hooked, it's words were compelling, and characters instantly made me feel welcome in their tantalizing world. Nobody does alphas quite like Ms. Bartel, she has a way of creating these men that exude strength and power, but can also be soft and caring too... and Thomas was her best yet! I loved meeting him and the lucky lady who managed to capture his heart, their story was riddled with feels and steam, and bits of action-packed suspense. Thomas did not disappoint, he had me at hello, and I imagine he will do the same to you... I highly recommend you meet him!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.

So I've read pretty much everything that Sybil Bartel has written. I have a sickness and it is called OTT alphas and she is guaranteed to deliver. However, sometimes I just don't like her h's. This is absolutely not the case here. Both the H/h were well thought out and true to their character.
The title of this book is fitting and Thomas is... EVERYTHING. Like holy crap on a cracker he is swoon worthy and I don't even like men that wear cowboy boots!!! I love how the men in this series are not cookie cutters of each other.
Their first meeting contained a lot of dialogue and was pure skill on Sybil's part. I'm reading it and I'm there with the MC's in the moment but I am also thinking this is really impressive from a technical standpoint. Every word was there for a reason - I felt like it was the literary equivalent of a tennis match and it was pure chemistry building magic.
I would like to say I hoovered this book in one sitting but my butt went numb and I needed sustenance so I was forced to leave Thomas for a few minutes. Cursed body! This was a bit different from the rest of the series but in a very good way.

Relentless is the perfect name for this book!
This book is so intense and detailed in the passion these two people share. She has been through hell and back with her ex-husband and stepdaughter. Luckily she found the wonderful compassionate sexy alpha man that knows how to bring her back to life and be the rock she needed and finally be able to put her trust in someone again. Sybil Bartell is the queen of the alpha heroes. Relentless, featuring newcomer Thomas Knight is a great instalment in her Alpha Bodyguard series, although Thomas isn't exactly like the rest of Luna associates in that a medical diagnosis prevented him from serving in the armed services. But he's no less of a protective alpha male and he is truly relentless about his woman.
I devoured this book. I wish I could tell you specifics about all the wonderful ways that the story makes me feel. But I don't do spoilers and I can't tell you anything that wouldn't spoil something about this wonderful story. All I can tell you is that Sybil Bartel has totally has ourdone herself in every way. Please get this book. Read this book. It's a beautiful story. It has all of Sybil's usual things the alpha males, insta-love (sort of. I can't tell you more.), bad guys, car chases, and STEAM.

What can I say that I haven't said before about Sybil's writing?
A flawed but super sexy alpha male main (and secondary) characters? Check.
Super protective of his woman without being overbearing? Check.
Everything that a woman could want in and out of bed? Check.
Cameos from other super sexy sexy alphas from the previous books? Check.
Relentless is, as always, a story better enjoyed after re-reading all previous books (something that I do before a new release). Everything is standalone but everything is JUST BETTER that way. Thomas is a character we met a few books ago but it's special in its own way. I looooved how Thomas will to get a better life propelled him to met his woman. I never saw that coming and... Oh! How I enjoyed the ride!

Sybil!!!! Thomas is an amazing alpha...he's so sweet, passionate and so so sexy in this Bodyguard Series. He's been on the radar now for a few books and I was so excited to finally read his story. I was really worried about the h in this book after getting whispers of Thomas in Preston's book. But have no fear....Sybil brings this story to life with an amazing love story with lots of love, sex and of course action.
You won't be disappointed once you open this book. In fact, you won't be able to put it down. Just the right mix of before and after. I loved that we could see Thomas when he was younger and what he has gone through in his life to become the man he is now. I so fell in love with him and all that he has overcome.

So many darn emotions swirling all over the place when I read this book. Sybil dragged all the feels out of me, pulls out all the punches and has written another fabulous book.
I knew a few books back that I would love and wanted to read Thomas’s story. Not knowing how that would play out and who would steal his heart, I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. These two have history, they have pasts and they need each other. Their chemistry, the love and how they can complete one another is truly magical. Their journey isn’t easy, but it usually never is as Sybil leads us through a gripping, action filled, suspenseful and nail biting journey. Fighting for the chance at true happiness, I was rooting for Thomas and his lady every step of the way. Not only are these two amazing, but the other characters in this book always bring so much to each story as well.
It’s a must read, as all Sybil’s books are. I always feel so lucky to have found such a fabulous author to take me on a journey through her work and look forward to every book she brings to her readers. Truly another remarkable book.

I probably sound like a broken record when it comes to Sybil Bartel and her amazing books! I adore her writing, she is phenomenal! She can take you to a place beyond time and space till all you can see, hear, sense is the world she has created. Her men are alpha to the core but Thomas, oh Thomas is another animal all together. He might seem young and almost easygoing with his Texan drawl but when it comes to Fallon Amherst, he will stop at nothing until she is wrapped up in his arms. Fallon is a prisoner to her past, still caught in the controlling grip of her ex-husband. His dominance of every aspect of her life has left her crippled. When these two meet, it is nothing short of spectacular. Consuming and addicting as all her books, Relentless is everything! I took the day off of work so that I could completely drown in all things Fallon and Thomas! All the stars for Relentless!

I couldn't wait to read this book and I am so glad that I did. Thomas is very protective and a sexy alpha male. He has to watch what he does to Fallon. He can read her emotions and every facial expression. Fallon has been through a lot. Not only with her ex husband and stepdaughter but also from her modeling career and mother. She doesn't trust anybody. Her ex-husband is not a nice man. His daughter is a spoiled brat. I felt so bad by the way her ex-husband and step daughter treated her. She definitely didn't deserve to be treated that way. Fallon doesn't want to get burned again like she did by her ex-husband but with sometime can she trust Thomas. And can Thomas trust her. I love reading your books Sybil Bartel. This book definitely did not disappoint. I highly recommend reading this book.

This book! Thomas will make you feel so different. You won't know what's coming. He is everything you need in and want in a man. He's the ultimate hero that will only take so much. He will risk his life for you. The female character, who will not be named, is not what you think. She's scared in her own way. Her life isn't what you would think. But, she's loving. She has a heart of gold. She cares, maybe a little too much.
I'm not sure if there are enough words to describe this book. This is the perfect love story. The characters are perfect. They are exactly what you want in a book. You will experience the sass of the characters, you will show all emotions, most of all, you will fall in love with Thomas and his lady!

They spent a night together and Fallon is scared because a man younger than her made her feel like a woman for the first time in her life. Things get complicated between them but Thomas is relentless and Fallon can deny he rocked her world. I love this book! Thomas is an amazing man and Fallon needs him as much as he needs her. Talk about a roller coaster ride in my emotions. Thomas ripped me apart and sewed me back together again so many times I didn't think I could ever be whole again.
I cried. I died. I cried some more. My heart shattered. It glued back together again.
Darlin' (lead female) was hardcore. The things she felt and the way she carried herself... mad respect. She put up with so much bs it made my heart hurt for her almost as much as for Thomas.
I swear Sybil Bartels writing gets better and better with each new book. And Tripods book was the best of them all so far.
I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next.

Sybil’s back with her alpha bodyguards and I swear every book that she writes just keep getting better and better, this one’s no different in fact I’d go as far as saying it’s her best yet.
With this book I was hooked from the start, couldn’t put it down, main protagonists Thomas and Fallon were just so perfect for one another even though it did Fallon a while before she came to her senses, seeing Thomas for the loving, caring man that he is. Sybil has done it again. And apropos of nothing, this is one of the most on the nose titles of any Alpha Bodyguard book yet. Thomas really had to work for their HEA and I really wish the epilogue was set further in the future.

Younger man older woman? Bodyguard and his lifetime crush? Bring it in!
Sybil has a way with her words and this world that she created. Andre Luna is one of the best employers that I’ve ever read and the guys are always hot and seem untouchable but Sybil always shows us their other side, the side that it’s only for the loved ones, when they can be free and human and express their true feelings to the woman that brings them down to their knees. It’s not always easy and there’s always suspense and angsty moments as well as very steamy ones, but love will always win over.

Be Still my heart!!! Thomas Knight just has it all going on. Charm, Charisma, Strength, Passion, and Respect.
His all out desire to protect the woman he fell in love with when he was young and his determination to never allow anyone else to disrespect his efforts just shows how a man can be dominant in the world at large while still showering the weaker with respect and compassion.
If you haven't read any of the other stories in the series, I would most heartily tell to you to go and read about all of these "bad boys".

Another entertaining and enjoyable read by Sybil. I’ve loved every single book in her library and, I’ve read them all, more than a couple times. I wasn’t sure I was going to love this one but I ended up loving this sweet but all alpha H. The story is between a couple who’ve both have a tumultuous past for different reasons. The h in the story is older then the H but they ‘fit’ each other perfectly. If anything, I wished for more romance between them then just their first encounter but I loved the connection between the two.

I have to admit the first part of this didn't grab me, and I was considering putting it down to come back to later. I am glad I got through that, though - because once Fallon and Thomas were in the same scenes, I liked it more and more. I loved Thomas. He was young, but he was determined and knew what he wanted. Fallon was a bit harder to warm up to - but her history with her ex and Summer made her guardedness understandable. Most of this series has been a hit for me, and I can't wait for more.
