With a boyfriend and a Daddy who get along and both love him to pieces, whether they’ve said the words or not, Cody knows asking for more would be selfish. But when all he wants is for them to love each other as much as he loves them, is being selfish really bad?

Jameson knows that loving Cody means accepting Ford’s presence in Cody’s life as well. But what he isn’t expecting are his growing feelings for Ford. Jameson doesn’t want a Daddy, but would a friend who understands Cody be a bad thing? And what if it grows into something more?

Ford never thought that he’d find someone to love and take care of, much less two men who are starting to touch his heart in such different ways. As he looks at Cody and Jameson, he can see the family he’s longed for finally within his reach. But two men dating the same person is far different than falling in love with each other, and what if it’s more than Jameson can handle?

When two men come together in friendship around a third, is falling in love that big of a leap?

5 Absolutely Adorable (& Hot🔥) Stars⭐
*Singing* A Dom, A Switch & A Sub in bed...!
Cody, Jameson & Ford get their HEA!! This is Amazing😍. The Age-Play & Sexy times get hotter. DEVOURED this in 7hrs.
This was the Direct continuation from 'Embracing Faith', no major time passed. Cody Loves Jame & Ford so much; plus the 3 are giving this unconventional but Feels so right relationship a chance... & Jame's processing the last 24hrs.

This one was focused on Ford & Jame's relationship along with Cody's. I mean, the Daddy & The Boyfriend should get along right? & They do, greatly! Yay!!
Things are getting serious too as it's time Cody stops drifting & chooses something to do about his future. Ford & Jame can see the Stress that His Fast-paced life is causing Cody...F+J work as a team to get Cody to loosen up, these scenes were fun!

With Great Communication & Major choices coming up, Friendly Times, easing James into This lifestyle & Finding Jame is a Switch (Dom to Cody & Submissive to Ford!)...It's one ordeal after another.
And, when Jame finally Let goes...& Cody, Jame & Ford get into the bed for Cody+Jame finally going all the way...Yes, Super Hot!!🔥
Their relationship really strengthens here & we get I love yous too *Swoon*.

We get some insights into Ford & Jame's Pasts too, which Reveal a lot about their Personalities now. Meeting Cody's parents is Fun as they're so cool & Friendly!
Some may think that this Trio is moving past, But thinking about the future is the Right thing❤. I loved seeing'em planning for it, to be together in a house! Making it home.

The ending is sexy & Glorious! I'm glad that Cody's liking his New professor job & that The 3's relationship is going great! The epilogue's so swoony😍. This is a #MustRead Duet! My 1st series by MA innes, Sure checking out the Friends' books!

I don’t know if this just caught me in the right mood, and I don’t care, I loved it. I really want to start over from the beginning of all of the commingled series. They’ve become one of my happy places. Happy sigh.

Reread 1/26/2020 I heard a rumor that the audio for this series is coming soon. I can’t wait!

Jameson has finally come to terms with his role in his relationship with Cody and Ford. I love how honest Cody was throughout the book with his feelings and his perspective of what was going on. Ford was patient and caring as usual but there's a shift in the dynamic where his caretaker role was extended to Jameson in a subtle manner. AND I LOVE THAT. I love how in this book, we get to see the development between Ford and Jameson because I thought it will still be focused on Cody as well. I think all three characters had played a good part in this book and definitely 5 stars here. There was again a lot of communication of their preferences and perspective. I can feel how all three main characters are starting to work as a team in this relationship and moving forward to a future they envision.

This was a nice finish to this threesomes story. Everyone lives happily ever after all in love with each other, which is just the way I like it.

This one definitely had less age-play scenes and more of these three experiencing new things together, like meeting friends. Jameson's needs also had more of a focus and was good to read about even though that aspect of it didn't feel completely resolved.

I love Cody and Ford (sorry James).

Re-read 2/16/2021 as much as I love this series, I still kind of wish it had been kept to Cody and his asexual Daddy Ford. The sex with James is just so awkward and not hot (to me). Sigh... but I still love the series. I love the relationships. I just didn’t love the sex (I can’t believe I just typed that).

This book continues the story of Ford, Jameson and Cody..
All three men doing their best to make it work and make each other happy,

"Our unconventional group wasn't what James would have imagined he'd needed, but we were perfect for him. Cody and I just had to make James see it too.

I liked that we got to see each mans perspective of the relationship as they move along. They have a unique dynamic, all working together to make each other happy.

"We were all so different, but somehow those differences only made things sweeter."

Ford and Jameson are getting to know each other outside of their relationship with Cody. It was great to see them all helping each other, easing each others fears as well as pushing their comfort levels a little. James becoming more comfortable with the dynamics between them.

"They were weird.
And not like genius who likes to dress up in a dinosaur costume weird.
My kind if weird was fabulous. They were just the regular kind of weird who were hiding something."

I loved watching them move forward. For a throuple that includes an asexual man, they were explosive together. So prefect for each other.

"Are you sure you've thought this through?"
"No." There was no point in lying about that. "Honestly, I've been mostly going by the seat-of-my-pants method. It seems to work better than planning out life."

It was fantastic to see their relationship and love growing and evolving.
I especially love how the author catches us up with so many old friends.

I fell in love with these characters in book 1 and while I still loved them here, this book fell squarely into the “sweet but lacking something” category. The differences between these 3 men are so interesting that I wanted more. Because there’s no real conflict, no real tension. It’s super low angst and fairly superficial fluffy marshmallows for everybody. Still my favourite by this author though.

Re-read 10/4/19: I think I might love this book more now than the last time I read it, although I'm not sure how that's actually possible. Cody and Jameson are hot AF together, and I adore that they feel the need to have Ford with them the first time they make love -- such amazing guys who care so much for each other. Yep, still one of my favorites!

4.75 stars -- Genius, absolutely genius! At 80%, Cody did the one thing that made me adore him for all time: ! Utter perfection, right there! I loved this book SO much! Ace, poly, D/s, ABDL -- plus scholarly geekdom. My new favorite by M.A. Innes...at least until her next book arrives!

Good, but rambling to the point I just wanted it to end. Cody was cute. Daddy Ford was sweet, Jameson was just too over the top nervous.

An unusual read in that it is a poly - but not the typical poly. The presentation of an asexual character in a relation ship was challenging and I think it was done well aside from the fact that Ford is representative of a very small section of asexual. If you want slow, sweet development of love with a fairly smooth story, then this is a story for you - more thought provoking than emotional.

Part 2 of life with Cody.

Cody and Jameson are finally together along with Ford, Cody's Daddy in his Daddy/little relationship. Jameson learns a lot about BDSM in this story, including the fact that he can be Cody's Dom while being Ford's submissive. Ford, an asexual, is still a part of the threesome in the bedroom and out. He doesn't want or need sex, but he does participate in a believable way when Cody and Jameson finally have sex. And he participates in teaching Jameson about the lifestyle and in encouraging him as he learns more about Cody's needs.

Ultimately, the threesome fall in love with each other. Each has his own role and they interact differently with one another, but the author makes it work. Definitely different from "the norm" and a great MMM romance for those who are looking for something unique.

Beginning to realize how close I am to catching up on this series. I’ve gotten rather addicted to this kinky college town.

Lots of “cameo characters” from other books in this one.

* Lots of Beckett & Finn.

* Finn talks Cody into meeting his friends — Ryland, Kevin & Jeremy, Bryan & Maddox. It doesn’t go well. Cody expects everyone to wear their kinks on their sleeves and the rest of the boys are slow to open up. Finn, bless his heart, goes Dom on them all.

Later Finn runs into Cody at the coffee shop with Kevin & Bryan in tow. Bryan asks Cody over for a littles playdate.

A creepy aside. Cody figures out Kevin & Jeremy’s secret. He doesn’t share, with anyone, but he takes it upon himself to erase some of the online references to them being brothers. Still wary on that accord. Feeling overprotective of the brothers.

* Cody, Jameson, and Ford all go to the BDSM lunch that’s mostly professors. Miles and Cody get a chance to talk. A few passing references to Avery, as well.

***

Without looking, it felt like there was more crazy D/s triad time and less age play time, as compared to book one of this duology. But then, I prefer that.

Yes, this whole kinky college series is heavily age play and that still isn’t my kink. I love all the characters no matter the kink, but Finn & Beckett are probably my favorite when it comes to kinks. I also have a soft spot for Kevin & Jeremy. They’re just so intuitively keyed into each other.

In the triad, Jameson is my favorite. He gets into the D/s, but is largely out of his element when it comes to the ageplay. Ford decides that Jameson is a switch, whether he’s willing to claim the title or not. Feel you there, Jameson.

On the “sexy fun time” front, after an oft begged for spanking from Jameson, he and Cody finally have full intercourse ... with Ford participating? directing? playing voyeur? ... some combination thereof?

And, later, on a night Jameson is falling asleep on his feet, Ford and Cody help him shower and give him a massage. Cody wants more and Jameson spreads his legs and lets Cody do all the work.

And Ford arranges for a visit to the club when only the owners and a few others are around. To give Jameson a chance to get his toes wet. They do a shibari demonstration with Cody and his friend Connor tied mirror image stye, facing each other. Very hot.

Reviewing this one all out of order. Ford and Jameson “date” while Cody is visiting with Finn’s friends. And slowly but surely, they have as strong of a bond as Ford and Cody. In fact, before the end of the book, they’re buying a house together. Poor Beckett is suddenly the one trying to put on the brakes with Jameson.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

I stayed up ridiculously late just so I could see these guys get their happy ending. I started Embracing Faith last night, finished it on that cliffhanger, and immediately ran to this book. "I'll just read the first chapter," I said to myself.

Famous last words, right? Ten chapters later, I said, "Well, I'm over halfway through, I should just power through to the end, right?"

Well, I did, regardless of whether or not it was the right decision. But as of right now, I'm gonna say it was SO WORTH IT.

I gushed about Ford in my review on Embracing Faith (ace rep in kink!!) but in this one I'm going to gush about James. More specifically, I'm going to gush about the way his character was written.

I could understand if people were annoyed with him/didn't like him as much in Book 1 because it might have seemed like he was dragging his feet and not doing right by Cody. But I felt it was just his character -- very cautious, very prone to overthinking. And they built on that in this book. He's a switch, but not in the way you might think.

Again, referencing Nora Phoenix books (she's the author that first comes to mind for me with this kind of kink), in Serve, there's a poly relationship with one switch. But in that one, he literally switched between Dom-ing their sub and kneeling on the floor next to their sub, submitting to their Dom. And while that's also a very fun dynamic, I loved the nuance of this one a lot, even as it made things a bit more confusing for overthinking James to wrap his head around.

James submits to Ford, full stop. It was honestly beautiful seeing them together, because James didn't go into the relationship expecting this like Cody with his reams of research (fond smile). (This is making me realize I haven't sung Cody's praises AT ALL. HE IS SO SWEET. Showing up to a BDSM club like it's a science experiment and he's just collecting data, wanting ALL THE KNOWLEDGE, being so confident in what he wants from both men in his life, LOVING DINOSAURS. Cody is adorable in this duology, and I loved him just as much as I loved James and Ford.)

Watching the trust grow between the two of them, watching James slowly let down his guard with Ford, was lovely. I really loved watching the three of them learn to navigate everything, from James figuring out his place in the relationship (and power exchange dynamic) to navigating Cody's little time and how to reveal the nature of their relationship to their friends and family. (Speaking of which, Cody's mom?? AMAZING.)

I really loved this duology and wasn't expecting it AT ALL, but it was worth the sleepless night to watch these three settle into a beautiful relationship together.

This is MA Innes’ sequel to Embracing Faith, and it continues all of the love and passion that was developing in the first book and just intensifies it as their relationship grows and they become closer together. This book takes place in the same college town as the Too Close series, Pieces series, Unconditional Love series, and Rethinking Fate, and I love the wonderful, accepting, supportive atmosphere Innes has created in this town. I wish I could live there! Some of the characters in those books make brief appearances in this book, which is a big bonus for long-time fans of her books. And Cody, the sub in this book, reminds me a lot of Cooper, a super-fun character in the Accidental Master series who is very popular with readers. He has the same confidence and bubbly charm as Cooper, and it’s so much fun seeing Cody wrap his two Doms around his finger.
This ageplay book is ABDL, and I really loved Ford’s frank talk with Jameson explaining about littles and the aspects of submission and control involved with using diapers, and the feelings of trust and closeness that develop. The way that Ford mentors Jameson in learning about D/s relationships and facilitates and intensifies Cody and Jameson’s sexual relationship just by being there was beautiful to read about. And very hot! As I mentioned in my review for the first book, I was hesitant to read a book with an asexual character, but seeing the strong caretaking side he has and the control he enjoys exerting, it didn’t feel like anything was missing in his storyline just because he wasn’t interested in the sexual aspect of things for himself.
There are many returning side characters that I mentioned earlier, but Cody’s mother is a new side character and she’s hilarious. I hope we get to see her again in future books about this triad. And Ms. Innes ends the book with one of my favorite kinks, so that was a pleasure too! I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more about these guys.

Embracing Faith was a great book, and Embracing Love is a fantastic next step for the three men featured. We get to see the feelings grow even stronger between Cody and Ford, while also seeing Jameson grow more secure in his role in their relationship.
Despite his asexuality, Ford's involvement in intimate moments between Cody and Jameson is perfect. His love for the other two men always shines through, and he is a wonderful caretaker to both of them.
Jameson has to work out his feelings about being dominant with Cody, while also being submissive to Ford. There are moments when Jameson is almost sweetly clueless, and I just love him for that.
Cody really comes into his own here. He has the Daddy and the boyfriend he wants, and he is so cute and sassy. His men are pretty much wrapped around his little finger, and it's easy to see why.
There is not much angst here, which is good for these men. They're growing together as a family, and it's wonderful to see. I love each of them separately and as a unit. Seeing so many other characters I adore appear here makes me smile. I have to smile at Cody's uncomfortable interaction with Bryan (from the Pieces series), while still feeling proud of how far Bryan has come from the secretive young man he once was. I have a difficult time letting go of characters I've come to love, and I'm so glad this author feels the same. It's like seeing old friends again when they show up in books focusing on new couples - or throuples. There are several of those characters here.
Cody, Jameson, and Ford are wonderful together, and this book is the mix of sweet and sexy I expect from the author. This one will make you smile, and I'm very happy to recommend it.

I am 100% here for all of the kinky asexual books. This is a continuation from embracing faith and I really really enjoyed it. Obviously Ford's asexuality was my favorite part and seeing a sex-neutral asexual who is involved in kink and who is found a way to have the relationship that he wants without compromising on having sex is really really awesome. I need to make it super clear that all of the sexual activity that takes place in this book takes place between Cody and Jameson and while Ford is present for a lot of it and he orchestrates / controls a lot of it, his body is not necessarily involved. This is an important distinction especially for sex neutral and sex repulsed asexuals.

Anyway, I really liked the poly rep and I liked the way that their relationship evolved and they connected. I do wish it was longer. They kind of jump from big event to big event without ever really getting into detail about a lot of it and I think that's just part of this author style but I'm still going to complain about it because I want all details. I totally think this could have a third book an extra 100 some pages to each book. I am super intrigued by all the cameos and it makes me want to read more of their books even though I know that I'm going to be annoyed at the lack of detail.

Rep: gay MC, asexual MC, gay MC, poly closed triad,

Kink: age play, abdl, daddy/boy, Dom/subs, power exchange Ford is the Daddy and Dom, Jameson is a switch, and Cody is a little and sub.

Cody has a boyfriend and a Daddy who get along and both love him to distraction (even if they haven't used that word yet) but all he wants is for them to love each other too. Jameson knows loving Cody means he has to accept Ford in his life too but he was not expecting the growing feeling that he has for Ford himself. He questions if that is a bad thing and what it will develop into. Ford never thought he would ever find someone to love and take care of, but now he has two men who both touch his heart in different ways. Seeing them both he can see a family that he has longed for. However, two men dating the same person is different to falling in love with each other - can Jameson handle that?

I enjoyed reading the conclusion to this story and the way that the three men found to be together, accept their differences and love each other. Ford was just such a tower of strength for both of them and I found myself feeling quite jealous hoping that we could all have our own Ford. I loved the way he enabled physical intimacy between Cody and Jameson and that it was natural and not creepy. I was thrilled with the way it ended although I would have loved to know what happens next to them all. This MMM story contains mature content, BDSM-like behaviours, spanking, diapers, binkies and a DDLB relationship.

Finally there is more of Jameson, Ford and Cody, and I didn't even truly wait very long but I am so very impatient when I enjoy something.

The three figuring out their relationship and each persons part in it is a fun read, with Cody and Ford so sure about what they want and where they stand, poor Jameson is all blush and embarrassment.

There is little that is more hot than Ford taking charge of the two even when he doesn't plan it, he is such a natural Dom. And the dynamic when Jameson controlling Cody but submitting to Ford at the same time is something new to me and something I enjoyed reading.

A story with an asexual person is new to me and it takes some getting used to but I like the care he shows and the different way he gives intimacy. And something I'd like to read more of.

I was delighted when familiar names started popping up, Bryan, Maddox, Kevin, Jeremy and Ryan.
Jay is the only one I could see that could compete with Cody in being open and honest about what he liked.
But I look forward to reading about the Little's playdate and their Daddies in a promised story.

Don't get me wrong, I was very satisfied with this book. The development of the relationship between the three men was perfect, at least that's my opinion. Certain elements were lost, for example the declarations of love (they were just a bit unromantic), but that doesn't stop me from saying that I liked the development between the three (here especially between Jameson and Ford, as that was also the focus).
Therefore, to clarify again before I start with the negative stuff; I liked the second part very much. However, this part was perhaps unnecessarily long. This was probably because so much happened. So many side stories dominated the main story that I skipped some parts. The side stories just weren't my thing. They made sense to strengthen the relationship, but somehow I felt they were unnecessary. Especially certain outings with other characters from the scene were unnecessary and not very well done.
Well, I can still say that the side stories didn't really bother me, so all in all I had fun with this book.

3.5 kinky and sweet stars.
To be honest I liked the first one better. But still I really enjoyed this one, although it had too much sex if you can believe it. Main characters changed a little from the first book, I thought they were going in a different direction and that threw me off, yet they were still sweet and funny. I loved the age play parts, I loved the way the relationship between the three of them developed, what I didn't like that much was the fillers. I wanted to see more of them buying the house and living together but we didn't get any of that, and the extra material that we actually got wasn't as interesting as the promise of their life together. Other than that, I really enjoyed this book, and I'm going to keep devouring this author's stories.

"Embracing Love" received THREE AND A HALF stars.

I’m still on the fence about age-play stories, but I loved the dynamic of these three characters.

The novel gained *stars* for these items:

* gained for: "The book caught my interest in the first five pages."

* gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society."

* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story."

1/2 * gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I wanted more!"

The novel failed to gain stars for this item:

NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author. I will automatically try anything she/he/they writes."

Kinky apecs for the win!

I feel like it's hard to write a review for this book without referencing the one I made on the first book of the series. I would say that this book is more focused on Cody and Jameson's relationship development, and kind of introducing Jameson to the fact that he's kind of kinky (he's a repressed switch). In this book, the open poly relationship becomes a closed triad, which is great, but I also would have liked to see where things went if Ford and Jameson has stayed metamours.

Overall loved it, 10/10 recommend if you want some kinky aspect reads that is also just super cute.

Oh. My. Gawsh!!!

I am flabbergasted. I don't use that word often, but it's called for in this case. This was my very first time popping my MMM cherry and whoa-oh-oh I was very much into it. Oh, and did I mention it was my first Dd/lg book? :)

First, I'm IN LOVE with the Daddy in this book. Please send him to my house to love me, thanks.
Second, I totally related to the little in this book because he was also a professional student - shout out to going to school forever!!

I only wish there was a third in the series. I wanted to see how things worked out in the end. Here's to wishful thinking! Cheers!

MA Innes gives us another great story.

Book 2, another great story about how Ford, Cody and Jameson move forward together in their relationship. I loved how this story shows the three of them becoming more confident in their roles especially Jameson. So good! Sweet men and hot sexy times. Loved all of the cameo's bringing all the boys together and how realistic it is when all of their personalities come together.
