I did not even know what was happening for the most part. It is too complicated because it is trying too hard. I said it before in many volumes ago and hoped it would be better but sadly it is not. It is trying to do a lot of things at once which does not work: philosophy, fantasy, time travel, multiple dimensions, politics, religion and many more. All these "plot twists" are not surprising and started to become very cliche and annoying. For instance, "You thought he was the true god? No I am the true god" and two pages later another one comes and replaces that character. This is going on for a very long time now. 1 more volume to go. I have no hopes but since I've read 36 volumes, I might as well finish it.

This series has really lost its way. It's trying to be too philosophical, clever, and plot-twisty. It really had a clever story, but the author wanted it to be more. She wanted the home run instead of the triple and ended up striking out.

One book to go.

And so, in a final push to retain free will for the world and save the lives of those who would be returned to nothingness, Alibaba proves once again, and for all time, that he is a better main character than Sinbad and you all can suck it.

Disclaimer: I watched the anime and needed to read the manga as I loved this story. Unfortunately, I binged every volume back to back each moment I was free so its hard to distinguish what happened in each volume.

2 stars, this series is overly convoluted. The Author is trying to do too many things all at the same time and it feels like a dumpster fire unfortunately.

Nice build up, there is tension building and the battles are so intense. I've said it before but I will again Alibaba is such an awesome character, I've loved watching him from volume 1!

One Volume left!

I'm so sad when I remember that it used to be my favorite manga of all time.

And now it's just torture to get through the volume. Even my love for Alibaba can't save how bored I am.

Just one volume left ....

Schade. Bald ist es zu Ende. Aber immer noch eine geniale Geschichte und Liebe für meinen Ali Baba. 😚
