"Cooper is the ultimate bad boy so Piper has her hands full." -- Amazon Reviewer
My journey with the Casanova Club has been full of wonder and magic and, dare I say, heartbreak.
More heartbreak than I ever imagined I could endure.
But here I am, suitcases packed, chin held high, ready to march into July to meet my next Bachelor.
Cooper Diaz.
He’s disgustingly handsome. Abs for days. A smolder worthy of every billboard in New York City. And a devilish grin that promises one thing:
Mayhem.
Too bad he’s a complete jerk.
My first encounter with him at his beachside mansion in Nassau sends me reeling. I’ve dealt with my fair share of arrogant pretty boys, but Cooper puts them all to shame, and he’s a stark contrast to the gentlemen I’ve met prior to him on this journey.
It’s only a month.
I can survive a month without falling for his ‘charms’ and his it-must-be-painted-on six pack.
Right?
One thing is for certain.
I didn’t expect what I got from this bachelor. And I sure didn’t expect how our time together ended, either.
Note to the Reader: This is a completed 14 book sexy romantic comedy series. You'll be following the journey of Piper, one funny, down-to-earth young woman, and her willingness to give up everything to save her family. The books are standalone in nature, but do have references to the books before as Piper will spend a month with each member of the 2019 Casanova Club. Enjoy. I did.
Ali Parker is a full-time contemporary and new adult romance writer with more than a hundred and twenty books behind her. She loves coffee, watching a great movie, and hanging out with her hubs. By hanging out, she means making out. The man is hot. Hello. She’s a creative at heart and loves coming up with more ideas than any one person should be allowed to access. She lives in Tennessee with her hubs, teenage son, two grown daughters, and two love-of-her-life grandbabies! Telling a good story that revives hope, reminds us of love, and gives a vacation from life is all she’s up to.
I'm glad he was included although I can't imagine why he bothered to get involved with the dating club at all.
I read happily until he pushes her too far....and then I lost respect for her in regards to how he's not respected her at all and she does something that isn't as hot as author thinks....I skimmed any of their sex scenes. I do like how he knows he's a dawg. He has POV at end that satisfied me going forward.
Oh Piper! It’s getting real hard not to get attached with any of these guys! Cooper was a lot to say the least! Once Piper got to see a little more of him I could see the kind of guy he could be! He loved giving her a hard time but she also gave it right back! Piper and Cooper were so fun! I’m glad to see the changes in both them after their time together! Can’t wait to see how it’s all going to end for Piper. ☺️❤️
By the description I already know this story is going to be spicy and turn into something I’m not expecting.
I don’t know if it’s just the fact that I’m not super into the romantic type and that the unpredictability and craziness is what really makes me love Cooper (aside from his snide comments) but the tension between them is just astonishing and TBH, although I’m halfway through the story and nothing has really happened between them but I just can’t wait to see where it goes.
P.S. I love every time he calls her babe or TBH, just any of the pet names.
Cooper takes the camera at Bassau and takes a pic with Piper with the polaroid and my heart melts. That was the one thing that Piper highlighted when they were on the outs in the beginning and he does it!
UGH, I really kind of fell in love with Cooper and he’s wild/unconventional way about him. He calmly agreed to himself that he wasn’t a right fit for Piper but ugh, did I want her feelings for him to be a lot stronger.
Having Cooper reflect on his time with Piper, realizing how he’s changed and what he needs to do to be better but then still saying that he doesn’t have to change right away by running to the girls in bathing suits on the beach - perfect way to close the book with Cooper.
THE CLIFFHANGER - the moment we’ve all been waiting for!
I used a different platform to read so I couldn't highlight, here are a few of my favorite moments:
That wasn't my style. Never had been. And not because I was too good to dose, but because there was nothing more unattractive to me than a woman who expected me to do everything for her.
I stripped out of my black string bikini, took a shower, and spent the next hour and half pulling out all the stops to show Cooper Diaz I wasn't just this sweet, innocent damsel who'd arrived on his doorstep wide eyes and clueless.
Stay low? Was this who I was now? The girl who was going to fuck a near stranger on his sofa in front of a bunch of wide-open windows in a mansion on the beach? Yes. You are.
But damn it all to hell, for once in my life, I didn't want to be the guy who gave the girl a hard time. I wanted to be the guy she smiled at the way Piper had just smiled at me.
Being with Piper had opened my eyes to the simple truth that I might not want to spend the next decade of my life partying and fucking and partying some more. Sure, for now, it was good, but later? After a few more years? I might want something more.
I missed her already, and she was still here with me. How fucking unfortunate.
We're now at book 8, Cooper [arrogant billionaire playboy] by the fabulous author, Ali Parker. This is part of a 13 books series, one a month, part of the comedic and romantic series that is both entertaining and I am enjoying it so very much whilst wanting to know who Piper ends up with. Piper has just left reeling from meeting Aaron and it was so easy to love him but I didn't think it would be so easy to even like Cooper. Piper is definitely NOT his type [long blonde hair and big boobs and simpering]and with each book it has been a joy to see her positive influence on each bachelor as well as blooming into a wonderful and confident young woman. Their first encounter is not positive and Piper thinks her heart is not going to be involved in this month as Cooper is such a jerk! Just like with Easton, once he makes an effort to get to know Piper they begin to like one another and enjoy each other's company and attraction blossoms! But how is Piper's dad doing after his operation? What's going to happen when her parents find out what she has been doing? Wonderfully written with believable and endearing characters. I can't get enough of this series so bring on book 9 ! As soon as all 13 books are published I will be re-reading them all in one go as I want to indulge and read them all one after the other with no gaps lol. I received a reader's copy and have left my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended.
The story continues. For July Piper is off the the Bahamas to spend the month with Cooper Diaz the wealthy playboy. In the beginning Piper is ready to leave this paradise and forget the arrogant Cooper and all his bad manners. This month is going to be a pain for Cooper as well. Piper James is definitely not his type and although he wanted to win this contest for purely selfish reasons, she isn't worth the effort. That is until they finally see each other for who they are and the walls start to crumble down around their guarded hearts and they finally enjoy their time together.
I love this series and I have really enjoyed watching Piper grow into a smart woman. She is coming into her own and with each man she spends time with she not only heals them in some way but she also grows herself. I am still torn upon who I hope Piper winds up with in the end but we still have several more to go.
I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I love this book and the series. It is one you need to start from the beginning to know what is happening. I highly recommend this book.
Wealthy arrogant playboy Cooper, thinks he is God's gift to women and he even has a type of women. Tall blonde with legs for days and she should have a nice set of breasts. Never did he think that someone could find him not all that appealing or does she. Anyway, Piper being with Aaron the writer who has stolen a piece of her heart too. I don't know if I can tell you if they make it the full month with so much tension between them but we do know that she spends the full month with Cooper and sparks fly and truths are told, but in the end it was a pretty exciting story. I think Piper would be good for Cooper if circumstances were different, but I still have my two favorite, actually three that I think she should choose and boy do I hope she chooses one. Reading this book gets me that closer to finding out and I can't wait. This is one time I wish the series was already finished but it has exciting to read a new Book every month. Can't wait to see what Levi brings to the table and what happened with Piper when she went home to talk to her parents about what has being really happening her life....Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Love this series.
Urk! This is a really tough book for me to put my reactions into words. I know ‘bully romance’ it the hot thing right now, but I don’t like bullies. I don’t like reading about them as a hero. There’s nothing heroic about a bully. I was bullied in school which made reading this an unpleasant experience for just about the entire first half of the book. Cooper manages to make Easton look like a saint. I’m so glad it got better; that Cooper becomes a man I can like. I just would have liked to see more emotional growth out of Cooper before Piper hopped into bed with him. My brain and emotions just aren’t wired that way, so that didn’t work for me. I think this is the first book in the series that didn’t leave me bawling my eyes out at the end. And while it was a nice change, I kind of missed the intensity. I’m dying to see what comes out of the last scene in this book. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Cooper :Casanova Club book 8. This was not one of the better story lines. I was not impressed with Cooper. I liked that the story started off different than the others. Piper and Cooper did not get along at first. He was a bad boy for sure. He didn't treat Piper with respect. His goal was to get her in his bed. Less than a week later, he did that. What does that say about Piper? Why is it she has to eventually wind up in the billionaire's bed in order to have a good time with these guys. I am not a big fan of Piper meeting each guy and eventually sleeping with them and then she some how is in love with them. This puts her in the category of a slut. Is she going to continue this behavior through to the end? *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
Piper is on her way to the next man in line of the Casanova Club and this month it's Cooper. He is exactly who she needs after being with a few really good men and being emotionally exhausted. Cooper is a billionaire playboy who also happens to be a Rockefeller. When these two first meet, the writing is on the wall and the tension between these two you can cut with a knife. He doesn't believe in love and she doesn't think he's much of a man. Will things change by the end of this month? One thing is for sure, she has decided to tell her parents exactly what she's been up to these past few months. Will her father's heart hold out for this news? You'll have to read the book to find out.
Piper has had her hear beat up now she at next guy , who she was told she could rest though this one. Cooper is her guy but he started out on a bad note. She arrived in Nassau at Cooper door and no answer. She marched around to the back and he was lounging . Cooper had told his friends he was not changing his bad boy way for a girl that wasn’t even is pick. Piper lover the water so you could always find her on a lounger In front of the water with a book. It took a couple of weeks and they seem to find a rhythm . Cooper show her his wild side and she took that ride but there was a little more.
Cooper was exactly what Piper needed after the emotional turmoil of the past months. He was perfect- a total jerk. Selfish, conceited, and every bit the bad boy she was warned of. But beneath that, you could see a glimmer of who he could be - years from now - when he’s ready to give up the bikini clad chicks on the beach. I’m glad Piper got to spend the month with someone who will end up being a friend, rather than someone who takes another piece of her heart.
I can’t wait to see where August brings us - and how her conversation goes with her parents...
This stories keep getting better and better. They way that Cooper and Piper started out their relationship was rocky but by the end they had become friends that will hopefully last a lifetime, not to mention that he's a Rockefeller. I think that changed the whole game in Piper's eyes. She now knew that she needed to tell her family the truth as to what's going on. I can't wait to see how that turns out in the next book. Ali you have me hooked. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy
Ali Parker has hit pay dirt with this Series. Each book leaves you with every emotion there is and Cooper is no different. Piper James is not looking forward to this bachelor, he's a player and his reputation proceeds him. Cooper Diaz isn't changing for anyone he joined Casanova Club because he could not in hopes that he would have a wife at the end of the year. With the end of the month in sight, Piper and Cooper realize some hard truths about their lives. Note: This is a 13 book series and you will need a tissue for most of these books.
Oh Wow another brilliant book by Ali. Oh... wasn't sure if I was going to like Cooper but you have to admit he may have been a player but you had to LOVE him in the end. I love how these Bachelors/Billionaires ate all so different and from all walks of life. I love how Piper seems to calm them and change them where necessary like she's done with Copper and his mindset. Absolutely adore Piper and love all the Bachelors for their individuality. Can't wait for Levi now to see what she does with him.
Guy #7.. Piper is still on this crazy journey and now its Cooper's turn. One month in the Bahamas with the billionaire playboy.. He is as cocky as they come and he really wants nothing to do with Piper. She arrives and knows she really wants nothing to do with him. Will they just make the most of their month or will they actually get to know each other and develop feelings?
This one was not for me. Of all the guys he was my least favorite.
Ok sure the série needed a bad boy, and cooper tick most of the prerequisite for it. But it stop more or less there. The fact he is real name is so emblematic didn’t bring anything it actually make it look like a joke. The pseudo indifference hate relationship with pipper made me laugh. Could have been better and make more sens if the author hadn’t try to make it fancier and shiner and if for once her heroine was able to keep her legs close
Didn’t really care much for Cooper but I’m glad the author decided to change things up a bit and there was no falling head over heels in love. Cooper was exactly what Piper needed after all the heartache she endured last couple of months. Despite the rocky start of their month together, they ended up being close friends in the end. Can’t wait to see how Piper’s parents will react once they hear the truth!
I had all the feelings Piper had on her first encounter with Cooper, but unlike Piper, I know a narcissist personality will never change. They love themselves too much and to anyone else who doesn't, just too bad. The month spent with Cooper was probably a good lesson learned for this confused girl. Hopefully she will be able to make more mature decisions in the next five months.
Piper James well for someone who claims to be love she's certainly getting her jig on. My expectations were high with this book as Cooper promised so much but he was just a normal bloke playing the field and living his life. It would be great if everyone knew where the field was..
Well written with good characters and dialogue, however it is getting a little repetitive and I was a little disappointed because the author could have really push piper with cooper.
Ugh super disappointed in this one. I'm loving this whole series, but I do not think Piper would have put up with this one. She either needed to leave, or he needed to get shot at the end or something. Totally not vibing with this one. I have to keep reading though. I have to know who Piper picks, and a pray somewhere along here she actually doesn't jive with someone like a real human relationships go...
Piper has been on an emotional roller coaster and needs relief which she gets with Cooper. He is an arrogant, pigheaded bad boy who is set in his ways and not looking to settle down. Piper sees what he can become down the years when he is ready for a serious relationship which is not right now therefore, she gets reprieve to settle her emotions instead of having to deal with matters of the heart. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Julys' bachelor is Cooper, an arrogant, privileged, wealthy playboy who just wants to win. Piper and Cooper clash and it takes a while for them to get to know the other. There is drama, witty banter, and steam in this rollercoaster of emotions. I liked this book, and it gave Piper a break from her overwhelming emotions. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
Cooper is an all around bad boy who doesn’t want to give up on his party life or string of one night stands. Piper is just the girl to put him in his place. This story will take you to the tropical island life in the Bahamas. By the end you’ll wish you had a drink in your hand and sand between your toes.
Cooper was a great book in the Cassanova Series. They arent standalone books though as you really need to read them in order because they reference quite a bit from previous books and a new reader wouldnt understand. Cooper took me by surprise as he starts out one way and then makes a left turn in the middle of the book. Good writing Ali. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, cant wait for #9 to come out in August.
Another great book in the Casanova Club series. Piper is really growing as a woman. This experience has been good for her, I believe. I still have no clue who she'll end up with, but the journey has been amazing so far. I can't wait for the next book!
The 8th book in this series was good. Piper continues on her journey continuing to change the Casanova Club guys. Coop is the ultimate bad boy so Piper has her hands full. Can't wait for the next book!
I am loving the Casanova Club Series! I just loved Cooper and Piper story!! He was a real pain to begin with but in the end you were able to see his softer side!! I would recommend this book and this series to everyone!
Another bachelor that left a bad taste in my mouth. He was rude and uncaring, too bad that didn't stay that way through out the book to give piper's heart a break. He did come around but I have him on my no way list for possible bachelors to marry her.
