~ A Christian Historical/Western Romance Leigh Latham dreamed of marrying a man of wealth. When she chooses money over love, she turns her back on family and friends. But life doesn't go quite as Leigh planned. When the dream becomes a nightmare, Leigh flees Philadelphia. With nowhere else to go, she returns to the friends she left behind. Can she possibly hope to find forgiveness? Marshal Rory Johnston thought he was over Leigh. Now he isn't so sure they can be just friends. Is Leigh hiding something, running from someone? Can he protect her and his heart at the same time? Will history repeat itself? Or can loyal friendship grow into a love to last a lifetime?
I've always loved writing but didn't get serious about it until 2001. That's when I began writing my first novel, Celtic Cross, an Inspirational Western Romance. Celtic Cross tells the story of Cristeen; I followed it with her sister's story in Claddaugh. The third book in this series, Celtic Knot is my favorite. All three books are set in Colorado in the late 1800's.
After writing three historical novels, I've switched gears and now write romantic suspense. The first, currently titled She's Mine, is set in a small town in central Massachusetts. They say write what you know, so I did! She's Mine is available in all eBook formats and also in print. I am currently working on the next novel in the Mystique of Naultag series.
I love hearing from my readers. The best place to connect with me is on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TammyDoherty... You can also check out my website
This is my first book by Tammy Doherty. I enjoyed it very much. This was a well written book about a very religious woman. She married for money and found her life to be anything but happy. Because of her husbands actions she got an annulment, but didn't consider herself free to marry again, because her vowels said, "Till death do us part."
I enjoyed the strength that Leigh shows throughout this book. This book was well-written and I definitely recommend it. I enjoy Tammy Doherty's way of telling a story and look forward to reading more by this author.
This is the second book in the series. I have now read both and can say they are good. I enjoyed reading Leigh's story as much as I did her sister's. A good Christian historical western..
