As they walk up to the worn down house for children, Sophy and her 16-year-old mother Chloe, do their best to remain strong. "Temporary home okay Soph?" It had been five years since Chloe was brutally raped by her stepdad and his friend, but it seemed no matter how much she tried, her demons always had a way of finding her. Come along on the journey of mother and daughter, as they navigate life in this heart-wrenching story about survival, friendship, and loss.
This is a great book that catches your attention right from the beginning and holds it right to the end. It really keeps you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. It did have quite a few typos, however it never takes anything away from how great the story is and the way that it's told. This is one of those stories that makes you seem like you are sitting right there with the characters. I can not wait for the next book.
