Favorite Quotes:

She smiles. It’s not that friendly smile I’ve seen her flash to her devoted fans. Come to think of it, I think sharks might have fewer teeth.

I don’t like machines that are smarter than me. I don’t think it’s natural…Ever see the Terminator? … As far as I’m concerned, that’s a lesson in the making.

Candy and flowers are overrated, Becks. Give me clean floors and dinner started and Callahan can have me any way he wants.

You come across as fine and sweet as sugar until you open your mouth and cuss viciously enough to send a drunken sailor staggering off and screaming.

My Review:

Cecy Robson is a recent find for me and each time I read her work I adore her even more. Infinite was well-crafted and evenly balanced between heart-squeezing family dysfunction, heartbreaking insights, swoony romance, and amusing wit. I relish Ms. Robson’s clever humor and comedic observations. My curiosity was captured and held throughout each well-paced and engaging storyline. I fell hard and fast for this couple and was reluctant to put my Kindle down. There were just a few sensual scenes but oh my, they left me breathless. Cecy Robson has the word voodoo and I will gladly fall under her spell time and time again.

Robson delivers another romantic struggle with destined love being found again. Hale and Becca were like Shakespeare's couple torn apart by family. It was an intense plot exploring the healing and the eventual destiny of two wounded souls. HEA with characters that touch the heart from the first page. "A copy of this book was sprovided by Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. Comments here are my honest opinion." This is a stand-alone read although it is marked #3 in the Carolina Beach series.

I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

This third book of the Carolina Beach series is the best one yet. Ms Robson wrote a book about two people who had a difficult past, yet they did not allow it to define them. This story is full of hope and second chances that will warm your heart.

Hale and Becca are at the peak of their successful careers with Hale a Wall Street tycoon, and Becca in public relations. Though it’s been years since Hale and Becca had ended their relationship, when things go south, one would help the other. In this case, Hale is in trouble and Becca will come to his aid. They have a rough start but the reconnection was sweet

I will be honest, though I have loved Ms Robson’s work, this series has not been my favorite from her work. However, Robson has won my heart in this installment. I love that despite Hale and Becca’s past, they’ve made something of themselves. It was satisfying to see them get exactly what they have earned and deserved. That includes friends that care, and a second chance at love. The best part of the story is the delivery. Robson did a good job building up the characters, their feelings, and timing of their reconnection. It made me believe that the second chance Hale and Becca are getting is genuinely real. It’s sounds cliche, but I connected with them and their story.

I love second chance romances and having seen a little of the obvious chemistry between Becca and Hale in Inseverable I was really looking forward to reading their story and finding out exactly what had happened between them. These two have been friends for most of their lives but those feelings grew much stronger when they were teenagers and they finally came close to acting on them the summer after they finished college, just before all their friends went in their separate directions to start their careers. Unfortunately what should have been a perfect night was ruined by Becca's controlling and abusive father and although they've seen each other occasionally since that night ten years ago things have never been the same.

Now Hale is in trouble, he's been falsely accused of fraud and the investigation has put him in the middle of a media storm that is ruining his reputation and about to destroy his business. Becca is a public relations expert and she will do whatever it takes to help Hale fight his corner, even if spending time working closely with him is going to be hell on her emotions. Both of these characters have never really gotten over each other but life got in the way and pulled them in opposite directions. There have been misunderstandings but I was really pleased with the way they discussed things like adults and were willing to listen to each other's points of view. They've both had it tough but have found their own ways to survive and make a life for themselves.

I really loved these two together, Becca is the kind of girl you could easily be friends with, she's sweet, funny and will do anything for her friends. Hale is just as nice, he has made a name for himself in business but he's not ruthless and for once we get to read about a rich, successful business man who doesn't just sleep around with anyone who takes his fancy. It was really nice to catch up with Trinity, Callahan and some of the other members of their friendship group too. Although this story can be read as a standalone fans of the series will definitely appreciate the appearance of those familiar characters.

Infinite was a sweet romance with a really great couple but like with all of Cecy Robson's contemporary romances she's not afraid to touch on difficult subjects so there were some really quite painful scenes with Becca's family in particular. I think this story is all about showing that your family isn't just the group of people you were born into but also the people you choose, the friends that will stick by you through thick and thin, and that's a reminder most of us could use at one point in our lives.

***5 ‘The Shark’ Stars***

After finishing Eternal, well, in truth it was while reading Eternal, Hale and Becca’s relationship peaked my interest. There was so much tension between them that I NEEDED to know what their deal was, so when it was made known that Infinite would be their story I was all in and let me tell you I got everything I had hoped for and so much more. This one hit all the feels and when I say all, I mean All. Of. Them. in one form or another and it made it very difficult to put the book down and had me wanting more even when there were no more words to read.

Hale. I adored the man. I did. At his very core he is an honorable and caring man. A good man. One who’d be there for those he calls his own when they needed him and whatever capacity, but...But, the man has a chip on his shoulder, one that is understandable to an extent, and it’s turned him into a man who tends to be at odds with his own heart and what it truly needs.

Becca is a fighter and I adored her. This woman is all woman. From her strength of will to the vulnerabilities she hides away in the deepest recesses of her heart. She has moxie, is sassy, snarky and can throw down with the best of them, no matter the arena, and loves hard and deep.

Becca and Hale’s journey was and wasn’t what I expected it to be and I enjoyed each moment as I got to know them and all that they had been through. Their road was rocky and filled with so many things left unsaid (for one reason or another) and assumptions that I expected things to be much more angsty, but I was pleasantly surprised with how they dealt with all of the issues between them. This isn’t to say there was no angst, but they acted not only like adults, but like people who had been friends and really wanted to reconnect. I loved their bantering and the flow that existed between them had me wanting to see them get the HEA they deserved.

This one hooked me real quick and I had a difficult time putting it down. The first person dual POV was done well and I liked how all of the issues Becca and Hale faced were dealt with. There are a couple of things I wanted a little more of, but that’s more of a me thing than anything else. I loved spending time with Trin and Callahan, Trin is all kinds of wonderful, but Neesa, Mason and Sean totally took this book to the next level for me. I loved the energy they brought to the book ~ especially Sean. OMG Sean. Loved him, but man...lol ~ and simply enjoyed getting to know them. So, if you love second chance romances then this is a must read!

I've enjoyed this Carolina Beach series set in the state where I live.  I don't normally pay attention to covers but these are gorgeous. The titles make it clear; this group of friends have an endless connection and support for each other.  They've known each other since high school or longer. Their backgrounds are different but they grew up in a privileged area of wealth.  It makes sense it is the kind of love they would find.

Infinite has the first couple to both be members of the group. Both Hale and Becca come from estranged family situations, and fought their way to wealth and success. Nothing about their success was easy.  Each presents a beautiful, perfect picture to the world, as well as mostly to their friends, no matter the truth inside. They had an incident and separated, not seeing each other, except in passing,  in about 10 years.

Hale's world crashes down. Of course, all of them are there to support him, including Becca. Slowly, they begin to know the real person and grow personally as their relationship changes. The amount of wealth still makes it rather unrealistic, but the personal development makes it an emotional, great read.   Rich or poor, or anything else, people still want to find their place, their people and be loved. The level of support, love,  and the steadfast commitment to Hale is fierce and amazing.

I enjoyed the support and close relationships. There were also steamy scenes and some real laughs. Somehow, I have the impression this was the last book, but what about Mason, Sean and Neesa?  I could read more in this close-knit family of people.

Becca and Hale grew up as friends but the night their friendship takes a turn ends up a nightmare that separates them from years. After both succeeding in their chosen careers, they are reunited when Hale is brought up on charges of insider trading. Becca is just the person to help him recover his reputation despite Hale not wanting her there. But Hale can’t hold out long because Becca has always held his heart and he’s realizing that she always will.

I enjoyed getting to know this couple. Becca was strong and feisty as well as independent and nothing slowed her down. Hale had felt the hole left behind by her and could never fill it, dating women he would never fall for. They are both sweet characters that belonged together. The drama in this story comes from both outside forces as well as relationship issues and yet it never felt really angsty except near the end when they both have to face their pasts.

This is a relatively fast read with some wonderful secondary characters that gave me some laugh out loud moments, as well as a couple of villains that I wanted to rage at. I was never really sold on this couple’s chemistry, even though I liked them both separately and together, and despite the explicit scenes between them I would label this as medium heat due to that lack of connection. However, I was still engaged and never skimmed and I would definitely read other books in this series.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book provided by NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Infinite is part of a series but not a read that you will have to follow the series as it was released. Reading about Hale and Becca was most certainly a read that was well contained and alluring all on its own without having read the previous books of the series. Becca and Hale both had family circumstances that made them in to the people they were today. Each went about it in a different way to cope with it all.

I loved the characters, the pacing, the plotting, the growth of both Becca ad Hale after the separation. I found Hale was so much more than what he appeared to be. Becca was the strong woman that was there all along but she too still wanted to be loved by her father. I felt so much for her and she struggle. She was deserving of so much more than she got. No matter what she would be there for Hale when he needed her most. I loved the dynamic of their relationship and that of the one they had with there circle of friends.

This read may not be for the faint of heart or even the one that have an aversion to abuse both physical, mental, and emotional. This will be a perfect read for someone that can see past the angst and pain and see the heart of it all. This was more than just two people separated. We get a full picture of growth, understanding, letting-go, friendship, respect, determination, and love.

Robson is my go to for a story with captivating characters and irresistible romance. Infinite is a reminder that perfection is not a requirement when it comes to love. Happiness is. Hale is a fighter. His life consists of making things happen for other people. Yet life seems to pass him by. He measures success by the almighty dollar and not the emotions he's locked away. When his life is touched by scandal, his past comes back to haunt him in the form of Becca Shields. Will she calm the storm or get caught up in the tempest of love? Cecy Robson has a talent for stepping outside of the classic fantasy and rebuilding the fairy-tale. Realism and connection are mighty weapons and she uses these to the fullest.

I remember while reading Eternal thinking that Becca and Hale had some kind of crazy backstory. Now reading it, I find I was right. Their second chance is full of all the feels, beautifully written with heart.

Becca and Hale had been friends for years until the night when Becca finally decided to let Hale know she wanted more from him. And to find he felt the same way was a revelation for her. Then it ended badly, really badly, when her abusive father intervened, and Becca and Hale walked away with broken hearts. Years later, Hale's in serious trouble with the Feds, and Becca, the PR maven, is on the case. Even though Hale may hate her, she's never, ever gotten over him, and she'll do whatever it takes to fix this for him. But will he let her into his heart, too? Let her explain what happened that night so many years ago?

I loved this second chance story. Becca is awesome - sassy, sweet and has a huge heart that really beats for only Hale. Oh God, Hale. That man is such a swoony, broody man. He may be the Anaconda of Wall Street, but he's a true southern gentleman. The way he and Becca reveal themselves to each other, all the pain and the heartache from years past, I may have shed a tear or two. But thank God this really isn't very angsty, it's just a tad emotional and sweet, but with a few bites of sadness and darkness, mainly from Becca's horrible, horrible family and the secrets and heartache Hale discovered within his own family.

I've really enjoyed this series so far, and am hoping there's more to come from this circle of friends in Kiawah.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review
'It would be several years before I saw Hale again. It didn’t hurt any less when I finally did. Hale was my friend, confidant, the young man I could laugh with and cry to. The one man in my life I could always count on. He was never supposed to break my heart. And I was never supposed to break his...'

A stunningly heart-warming second chance romance, Infinite is the last book in Cecy Robson's Carolina Beach series.

Hale Wilder spent his childhood fighting to win his fathers love. He was the best student and the best athlete, he grew into a successful business man and took the finance world by storm.

Young, rich, and powerful, Hale was unstoppable. Until a company scandal destroys his reputation and threatens everything he's worked for.

Becca Shields is a public relations goddess, spinning scandals to gold and launching has-beens into superstardom. She never expected to see Hale again, not after the humiliating night when her family caught them on the beach together, barely clothed.

When Becca realises Hal is in trouble she can't turn her back on her childhood friend.. A friend who almost became much more.

I've wanted to read Becca and Hale's story since I first read Inseverable back in 2016, and I am so pleased to say that this novel did not let me down.

Normally I'm not much of a fan of books written with a split first person point-of-view, generally finding it breaks the suspense and pacing of the novel. However I really liked that Infinite was written like from both Hale and Becca's POV, as it allowed you to really get to know them and help understand the complexity of their feelings and motivations.

I loved the chemistry Becca and Hale shared as well as the sexually charged - yet humorous - banter.

'With every step I take, Becca’s eyes grow wider. No, wilder, and those fists she rammed against her hips? Well, look at that, they slide down very sexy curves I’m looking rather forward to caressing.
“What’s wrong?” I ask when only inches remain between us. “Do I intimidate you?”
She jerks her chin away. “No. I just think if we’re going to have a working relationship, you need to respect my position.”
“Position?” I drawl. “Darlin’, I’ll respect the hell out of whatever position you want.” '

I also loved that Becca was such a strong character who built her own family and support network when her biological family was nothing but toxic, was strong enough to take a stand for what was right, achieve her goals, and build a successful life for herself.

“You were never the problem, Hale. He was.”
“And yet you still chose him,” He fires back, every syllable clipped.
“No,” I say. The word is too simple to carry the weight I feel behind it. My mind flashes back to that night.
My cousins on top of Hale.
The crunch of fists colliding against bone.
The grunts.
The cries of pain.
And my father’s large hand striking me down.
God, if I hadn’t gone to Trin, if her parents hadn’t helped support me, I would have lost my position with the Carolina Cougars and been living in squalor.
And still I would have done it.
“I chose me,” I say, my voice quivering as I remember how hard Daddy hit me. How much he wanted to hurt me. How much that sadistic bastard enjoyed watching me bleed.

Infinite was a perfect ending to an amazing series and is due for release on the 15th August.

Hale Wilder hasn't always been popular among the rich and famous, once upon a time he was the boy from the wrong side of the tracks; one who wanted "the girl" from the right side, but was never quite good enough in her families' eyes. Growing up he spent hours upon hours secretly swooning over his best friend Becca Shields, she may have come from the ritzy side of town, but she never acted like it, nor did she treat him and his buddies differently because of it. But her family always made sure to put him in his place, often showing him that he wasn't what they wanted for their precious Becca, but little did they know, Becca loved him just as much, and didn't care at all what their opinion on the matter was. That is until one night she professed her feelings for him, and it caused an uproar, one that left them both broken-hearted and alone.

Through the years they have secretly kept tabs on one another through their mutual friends, but never really finding the perfect time to reunite and hash out all their old issues. Every time they have ran into one another at a party or something, it was always a bad time, but fate has decided it is time for them to get things worked out once and for all. Hale has just found himself in a whole heap of trouble with the government, and Becca just so happens to be the perfect person to help him clean up this blemish on his reputation. Now these two find themselves thrust together to sort out Hale's mess, and of course deal with all this reignited chemistry that is swirling around them too!

Infinite is breathtaking tale brimming with heartrending emotion, sizzling chemistry, and unimaginable loss. Be prepared to have your heart wrecked by this one; the moment these two wounded souls walked onto the page I was completely taken with them, and mesmerized by every word of their touching reunion. This was such an enjoyable read; it had the angst and emotion I crave, the sizzling chemistry to keep things nice and hot; and two characters that completely stole my heart, I could not have loved them more! I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it is certain to wreck your heart, in the best possible way!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

I received a review copy of the book before release for an honest review.

This is book 3 in a series and I have read and loved them all. But this one was really painful to read at first. It is very different than the other two in the series in that it deals with abuse by a father and daughter and I do not like reading things like that. Even after Becca leaves home, men still manipulate her and that was very tough for me to read. So getting thru the first part of the book was very painful for me.

The author does put in a note at the start of the book that not everyone has happy growing up years and that is who this book is dedicated too and I think that if this is something that is sensitive for you, you should know this. Once that is over, the book gets really GOOD. Like I cannot put it down good.

Hale and Becca fell into a deep friendship young and then love at 20. On the night they were going to claim their life, things get hard. Then the book starts ten years later and we meet Hale and Becc who have stayed distant friends but who never managed to get things together. Hale is accused of stock market tampering and that is when his friends support him and Becca and him start really talking about the past and the things that have happened.

Things are not simple and they have to work for the relationship they want .It was extremely well written and I really loved it once I got past the painful start. It is definitely angysty in the beginning and then it becomes a much lighter book as we see Becca and Hale together. I highly recommend it but you should beware that the beginning is painful to read.

Becca Shields has a friend that she wants to be more than with. Hale Wilder learned a hard lesson in the past. Can a couple from the past reunite in the present? If you like a romance that comes with a second chance then this may be a book for your library.

With this story, the author goes about developing her characters and their scenes before she has us thinking relationships. One secondary character I enjoyed was Hale’s assistant – she’s an experience you will enjoy. Two more characters you will enjoy are Mason and Sean – one seems serious and the other will have you chuckle. Besides creating great characters she does a great job in creating the heat between our main characters as well as the tension that goes along with it. A mystery is revealed very slowly because she’s built the suspense first – she waited for the perfect moment before slowly unraveling things.

But will their past get in the way of what they could have now. Because of all the mystery surrounding Hale, he can use all the help that’s being offered. Becca is willing to do all that she can but I liked when she let her sassy side come out and play. One thing the author gave them in common was a family unit that was far from perfect. So they found a family elsewhere.

This may be part of a series but you could consider this a standalone. If you want a little background on our couple you may want to check out Inseverable. The setting is what these books have in common but little else. Kiawah Island actually exists so I may just have to add it to my bucket list. In the meantime, I can enjoy it from the comfort of my recliner or a nice spot on a beach somewhere.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Oh My God what a book! This is an extraordinarily well written story. It is so completely thought through and such a joy to read. It had this wonderful flow to it and I had a hard time putting it down. This book was a wonderful story that shows true love dose not die. But sometime it is a bumpy road to get there. I am so ready for the next book in the series and cannot wait to read more.

This is Hale and Becca's story. The night they were torn apart as kids was so bad. And Halie had no clue what happened after he left. The things that her dad did was horrifying and karma may have had it's way with him. But even thought they have been apart for years when he needs help she is their. Now she just needs to get him to let her help him. But as things go by more and more obstacles are thrown in their paths. They have to fight for each other. They also have a group of friends helping them but Sean is well we all have that one friend who is shall we say special. But he sure is fun bless his heart. In the south we all know what that means.

Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.

4.5 Stars!

Infinite by Cecy Robson is not your typical friends to lovers romance. It is chock-full of meaningful discoveries, loyal friendships and demoralizing family members. The two main characters, public relations guru Becca Shields, and Wall Street notable Hale Wilder, were best friends for years before parting ways to pursue their respective careers after college. Instead of a passionate unveiling of their true feelings for each other, their last night together was a horrific nightmare.

Becca and Hale have not been friendly for a long time. Yet when Hale gets falsely accused of securities fraud, Becca immediately volunteers her services. While the attorneys find evidence of Hale's innocence, Becca works on rebuilding his reputation and company. Their time together evolves into a loving and lustful relationship.

Infinite is truly an amazing and heartrending novel. It is well-written, and Becca and Hale are interesting, complex and genuine. They have undeniable chemistry, and their romance is replete with emotion, sadness and love. If you enjoy a novel with a strong heroine, an eclectic group of caring friends, and an unsung hero, then read this book. This is the third book from the author's Carolina Beach series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone.

I found this to be a very entertaining story. It begins as two young people who have grown up together and after many years of being together they are hoping to take it to the next step. This does happen because Becca’s cousins find them and proceed to bet up the guy she is with Hale Wilder. After some of Hale’s friends show up it becomes a matter of words and her father then arrives and she tells Hale to leave. Her father treats her beyond words and she eventually leaves as well. The story then takes you to ten years later. Both are successful in their fields he is a Wall Street broker, she is a PR person for a pro football. Their two lives come back together when he is accused, arrested, of insider trading. Wanting to help and not believing the charges against him she along with some other friends bring him back to his home town to sort out the charges, and more importantly their past. It is then when they go back to that night and what happened after he left that they slowly begin to heal. It is only when he reveals his secret from his family after his father died that they truly start to become a couple, but there is still work to be done. A very good story with many good characters and even the ones you don’t like help make the story. Overall a very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction book blog.
This is a beautifully written book about a second chance at love. Except Hale and Becca didn't quite take hold of that first love ten years ago. What I really enjoyed about this book was the flashbacks to the past. I would even go so far as to say I wish that there were even more of them.
With a great group of friends, when one of them is hurting, everyone bands together to stand shoulder to shoulder. This was when I thought the book took off and became such a wonderful story.
Apart from what happened in Hale and Beccas pasts, this book is relatively free of relationship angst. They just seemed to meld their lives together as to how it should have always been. But what I loved about this book is that so many loose ends from their individual pasts were tied off. It was wonderful to read.
Would love to,read more from this author.

Wow. Becca is an amazing, strong woman. Her family is shocking in their attitudes and behaviors especially towards her. After an incredibly horrendous confrontation, she pulls herself up and builds her own life away from them. But she also pushes away the one man she has ever truly loved, Hale. Hale is shocked when Becca chooses her family over him so he leaves to start his new life in New York. For years, these two build successful careers but remain apart. Then Hale’s world is shattered when he is accused of insider trading which brings Becca to his aide as an extremely accomplished PR person. As Becca works to rebuild Hale’s reputation, they find being close to each other again is a challenge. Will these two find a way to forgive each other? This is a rocky road they travel; will they find it’s easier to travel together? Or will they let past hurts keep them apart? I loved their group of friends and how they have built a unique family that supports each other no matter what. The chemistry Hale and Becca share is precious and electric. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

First of all, let me just say, this cover is absolutely breathtaking! I did a double-take when I first saw it, and after reading Hale and Becca's story, I can definitely see why the author chose this image for her characters.

There's something about Cecy Robson's writing that just lures you in. The way she first introduced us to Hale and Becca, the way her family responded to finding the two of them together that night, the way her father treated her...I couldn't stop reading.

Robson set the foundation for this bittersweet, dramatic story and all I could do was take in her words, while the emotions overwhelmed me. It was more like a journey of healing, where two people with a long-ago past made things right again.

Though I'm not sure where Robson plans to go with this series, I will say Infinite has been my favorite. Just the connection I was able to make with Hale and Becca, their story was touching and one that won a place in my heart. The way the two of them worked out everything said something about them.

Five stars!

Becca and Hale’s story begins when they are just kids but finishes when their lives collide as adults. This story is one of love, not just the love between a man and a woman, but the love of family. Becca and Hale made a family all their own, neither felt as if they belonged with the people that were their blood so they found amazing men and women they could belong to. When life takes a bad turn for Hale, Becca comes back into his life to help...what follows us a second chance at a love strong enough to heal, strong enough to survive, strong enough to create a bond that cannot be broken. This book made me feel all the things Becca and Hale went through, along with some laughs courtesy of Neesa, Trin, Mason and Sean especially. I look forward to returning to Carolina Beach for more of these fabulous characters!

This book is filled with all the feels and so much more. Hale is the known as the Anaconda of Wall Street but when the FBI suddenly storms his office and arrests him his world is thrown upside down. Becca is the PR powerhouse for the Carolina Cougars who brought the football team from the brink of destruction to practically do no wrong with the media but when she finds out Hale is in trouble she is on the next plane to New York to help. Ten years after "the incident" that broke them apart and all the near misses in the years in between cannot keep them apart. Hale and Becca were meant for each other from the beginning and working together to clear his name and restore his reputation brings them closer. Great characters and wonderful settings. This can be read as a standalone.

4.25 Infinite Stars!!

ARC kindly provided by publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I loved being able to finally see Hale and Becca’s final journey. I’ve been looking forward to it ever since the first book in the series. I also loved getting to catch up with the whole gang. I’m not ready to let go though. Hopefully Mason and Sean’s will get their happily ever afters too!

A powerful second chance story. Steamy and full of angst there is a lot going on with this one. It's a page turner and various distractions pull the characters this way and that. It will tease and tug at all of your emotions.

Becca doesn't mind putting her man in his place and it amuses him, “Hale Wilder. You’ve developed a bad habit of interrupting me. If we’re going to work together, that **** isn’t going to fly? You hear me?” I smirk." Just like Becca, Hale doesn't hold anything back either, "she’s feeling shy. I’m not. “You mean the hot one we had in bed naked?” I turn around as if I can see the bedroom and hook a thumb. “That one in there, when we were feeling each other up.” I liked this book, I loved Hale.

There could not have been a better story to cap off the Carolina Beach series. I thought I loved the first book best, but Hale and Becca swept that one into the second place by bringing out all my feels. I expected, braced for it, and still found this pair touching and fun. They always say 'the best for last' for a reason. Infinite is that reason.

Infinite is the third book in the Carolina Beach series. It would work as a standalone, but I found it worked all the better when I encountered the characters in the earlier books and then got their own story in this one.

So, yes, Hale and Becca were introduced earlier. They were a case of bad timing earlier when they tried and failed to be together. Now, they've got a new chance when Hale got into trouble and needed his friends. Loved how this group came running and circled the wagons for him. I keep thinking this was the end book, but incidentally, I would love to see all the friends get their stories. Becca doesn't let the past stand in her way of coming to a friend's side when he needed her. I thought this was really big of her particularly when her own terrible past and family stuff came out. They were quite the pair. Their careers were successes, but their private lives were painful. I was so thrilled that they were giving it a second chance and had each other.

They were funny (I laughed so hard at times particularly when they were snarking at each other), sweet, hurting, and oh, let's not forget hot together. They had so much to work through in their personal lives and issues from their horrid families (I've seen less dysfunctional stuff on a Sally Jesse Rafael show), but I loved seeing them trying to get past that stuff and trying to be together. I was fully engaged with this pair and lost myself in their story so that it was over before I even realized it.

All in all, I loved rooting for this pair and immersing in their romance and the broader circle of friends that make up this series. I can definitely recommend the book/series to those who want all the feels and the extra sparkle on their contemporary romances.

My thanks to the author's assitant for the opportunity to read the book in exchange for an honest review.
