Lost. Stolen. Forgotten… until the Alphabits step in.
A Team A.L.P.H.A. spinoff series.
Pierce Steele was the Alphabits first recruit, and is team leader Sam’s right hand man. This whole investigating thing is fairly new for a man used to being a pilot, but he’s always loved pups. When he and the awkward bear shifter Cyrus are sent to investigate a lead on a missing child case down in the armpit of Florida, he expected it to be easy. Interview a few people. Grab the kid, take him home to his parents. Case closed.
He did not expect the fiery omega Adrian Shultz to stand in his way. He certainly didn’t expect the daycare worker to be his fated mate. Pierce thought he was done with love forever.
Adrian really wants to take arrogant tough alpha down a notch or two, but when his heat kicks in, he’ll settle for getting down with him. And while he’s at it, he’s going to make sure Pierce doesn’t take Dex away from his real family.
The case turns out to be trickier than the team thought. Pierce and Cyrus end up dragging Adrian, the manny Tony, and missing child Dex back home to Chicago so the Alphabits can learn where the truth actually lies.
The Alphabits aren’t vigilantes. These former soldiers and officers of the law have to do things by the book—even when it tears them apart to do so. But once all their ducks are in a row, the bad guys had better beware! You do not want this team of protective alphas on your tail.
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
Continuing on with the rescue of shifter children, the team finds themselves in a quandary. Not all is as it seems.
I'm digging these mate stories. This one had one of my usually no-go troupes of the dead-ex but it wasn't too bad. The authors tried hard to make it seem like Adrian was "more" in Pierce's eyes. One little element I could have done without but that's just me and my picky pettiness . It won't bother anybody else but me so ignore it lol.
I missed this one back when I read this series, but grabbed the audiobook bundle for a credit. Finally had the chance to listen to it. It's been awhile, and I forgot how funny they are. Sweet and straightforward, fated mates with just a tiny touch of drama. Audio beautifully performed by John Solo. His voices are fantastic, and he manages to find just the right one for each of these guys.
ehhhhhh. not sure if this author duo is for me.... the writing isn't the best and my god there were so many fart jokes, yes it was funny at the beginning but the overload of them it was annoying.
idk if this series is for me anymore..
i feel a slump coming on and i am not looking forward to it..
Aaaand I think I spoke too soon. I loved the first book which surprised me since I don’t normally click with Susi Hawke books. So I took the plunge and read this next book. And it’s back to why I don’t click with Susi Hawke books. The alphas were just assholes and the omegas were just crazy sassy. I like sassy most of the time but this one was those over the top, a little mad kind of sassy.
I am honestly quite disappointed with this one because Pierce in the first book was one of those reliable, steady alphas. He just morphed into an asshole in this book. It’s such a stereotype that alphas have to be macho and overbearing and omegas have be sassy to “put-them-In-their-place”. These two character traits really puts me off. So yeah, I won’t be continuing this series, much to my dismay and disappointment ☹️
Pretty good follow-up to the first book. I didn't love this one just because I was less interested in this plot. I definitely want to read the third book because so far that plot summary has me the most intrigued.
This plot picks up from one of the cold cases discussed by the team in the first book. It was pretty similar to the first book, just with a different focus character and the fact that the relationship wasn't established. These books are good and I can absolutely fly through them. I know I've rated a lot of books 3 stars lately but for me, that's still a good rating. Three stars just means that I enjoyed the story but I didn't love it and there was nothing about the story that truly blew me away.
I will be continuing with the series and I hope the books just get better from here!
This book was funny as hell. Susi and Crista have really outdone themselves with the humor. I was laughing so hard I was getting cramps in my stomach. Just be warned!! Bring tissue for the happy tears.
Always weak for an enemies to lovers story, but this fell a little flat in some places. I liked how they tried to get to know each other and give each other chances, but the characters backstories felt under developed making them not as lovable as they could have been. Which is a shame because I had been side eyeing pierce since the last book.
Let’s just say: more than one drop of peppermint oil is way too much for alpha Pierce. Omega Adrian has his own worries about his brother and young nephew. Even though Pierce’s work partner Cyrus may drive him crazy, he can count on him when it counts. Enjoy how Pierce and Adrian handle family and challenges—both large and small, resolve communication problems, and savor steamy moments as fated mates!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The way that Pierce and Adrian met and didn’t get along was pretty funny, Pierce couldn’t scent that Adrian was his true mate because of the peppermint essential oil that put above his lip after being trapped in a car with Cyrus who had digestive issues put against Cyrus’s advice he put way too much on so he lost his sense of smell for awhile. Pierce are Cyrus went down to Florida to find Tony and Dex and possibly return Dex to his parents since there was a missing child report so they had to follow it up. Adrian had just witnessed Dex having a mild anaphylactic episode and being his uncle didn’t help Adrian’s protectiveness over his bother Tony and Dex. When Adrian and Pierce finally sat down and talked, Pierce told Adrian about Heath his childhood best friend and mate who he’d lost due to cancer about 10 years ago. That’s when everything clicked into place for them. He should be less worried when they claim each other after bubs is born. I’m looking forward to reading Gizmo’s story next as it should be interesting him going to the woods in the middle of nowhere. What gadgets will he bring or will he have to go completely offline. I’d definitely recommend this book, series and both author to everyone.
Not the biggest fan of Adrian. When he and Pierce met, Pierce was doing a job and trying to retrieve what everyone in the Alphabits and a police report thought was a kidnapped child. Instead of Adrian understanding this, he just assumes that Pierce is some kind of raging alpha jerk. Needless to say, their relationship doesn't get off to best because of these assumptions and a series of misunderstandings. The whole history with Heath wasn't handled well either. I didn't understand the point of it. Pierce was in love before and had a serious relationship with him since they were young but as he's telling Adrian all about it, he was like yeah so that happened and then he died but now that I've met you I know the difference in having a true mate. Like wtf? Just remove that whole storyline from the book if you're just going to make it pointless. I'm liking the team members of Alphabits. I think I liked the Team ALPHA characters and stories better. These aren't bad though and I did enjoy the first book in the series. I hope I enjoy the next book more than this one.
Holy cow Batman was that funny and intriguing to read! I loved this book if was funny and filled with enough of everything to keep you interested.
Character breakdown;
Pierce: I thought he was too much of a grouch at first, I knew he held some pain but did not expect it to have been what it was. And his reaction to his mate going into labor was hysterical!
Adrian: I loved the heck out of this omega! He was fun and sassy and pretty bad a****. I loved his overprotectiveness with his brother and nephew.
Favorite quote: “You poop licking glue sniffer!” I screamed at Pierce. “I swear, if you even think of looking at me again with bedroom eyes I will kick my foot so far up your pee hole the words ‘spring a leak’ won’t even be a metaphor. Turd farming nut slime! This is your fault!”
This was a great book and I definitely recommend everyone to read!
Fun, Sassy and a little serious. I loved Adrian and Pierce!
Any interaction with big bear shifter Cyrus is sure to make you laugh and as poor Pierce is stuck in a confined space with Cyrus for the start of this story; you’ll start with a good laugh. As they are looking into a child kidnapping the story has serious elements too. Susi & Crista have created wonderfully caring Alpha males, you can’t help but swoon over but in this story I loved Adrian. His fierce protectiveness of his nephew and his family shows just how strong he is. His realization of Pierce as his fated mate is great and their connection is hot! I loved the back and forth and this is another great story in the Alphabits Series!!
Even though the case was about Adrian's brother and his nephew, I felt a little bit of a disconnect between the case and the couple that was the focal point of the story. It just seemed a tiny bit forced. However, that being said, It was a wonderful story and quite unique. The sense of smell is so important for a shifter so it was interesting to see that messed with here. Adrian and Pierce's start was far from smooth sailing but the things you have to fight for are the best.
P.S. I'm not sure what was going on here, but it seemed like there was a bit of a fascination with bodily functions in this one. Especially concerning poor Cyrus. I don't think I have ever heard that many fart references. Not good or bad, just funny. Although, it's going to make it a little harder to see Cyrus in a sexual way when his story comes.
4.3 ⭐s Kidnapped Heart This is Pierce's story. The titles of the books indicate the type of child storyline from the Cold Case files that the Alphabits are going to pursue. In this book a young boy was abducted by his Alpha Manny something very unusual. There are so many twists and turns within this plot. While attempting to recover a kidnapped child Pierce the Alphabits pilot accidentally comes across his mate.
Unfortunately he's the Omega brother of the Alpha that Pierce & Cyrus are in Florida to collect and the uncle of the child they to bring back to Chicago. Needless to say the mates don't get off to a good start but a funny start and definitely problematic. The more I learn about big Cyrus the more I like him and all his quirks. This is a book about the problems that occur when there is not good communication between mates.
I can't say enough about this series spin off of the A.L.P.H.A.S. "Alphabits" lives up to it's parent series with the men just as strong and compassionate. Pierce is nose blind after inhaling peppermint oil to cover up Cyrus's smelly flatulence on a stakeout and is unable to scent his mate. Adrian is an omega with a mind of his own, not afraid to take risks and protects those he loves. The two get themselves mixed up and have a hard time straightening out their relationship. Adrian's brother is threatened with the loss of his son and that has to be taken care of, but how do you fight corruption? You will find out when you read this entertaining, often funny, often heart breaking and often has emotional battles that will keep the reading going to the end.
I love this second book in the new Alphabits series by Susi and Crista. We get to see Pierce Steele, pilot and second in command of the team heading to Florida with bear shifter detective Cyrus tracking a former Manny and the infant son of the mayor's family. Things are not as straightforward as they seem and when the Manny's omega brother turns out to be Pierce's fated mate things go from bad to worse. This is an interesting second case for the Alphabits and it was not instantaneous for Pierce and Adrian in their mating, making things a little bit more challenging. Recommended for all fans of Susi Hawke and MPreg as a quicker read than some other stories.
This is the 2nd book in the Alphabits Series. This story was hilarious and draws you in from the beginning. I could not stop laughing when Pierce and Cyrus are on a stake out and what do you do get the odor out your nose from your partner. Make sure you cant smell anything else basically nose blind. The tangled of smell and lies that are hard to decide what is what. Relationship dont always start off on a good note. Wonderful combination of Omega and Alpha showing their strength and weakness to make them a better couple. Cant wait to see which one get hits in the next book. Highly recommend to read in order to understand the characters
This is the second book in this incredibly sweet series about a team of shifters who look out for shifter children who have gone missing, abducted, neglected and abused. In this one all is not what it seems In fact the more the team look into it the less things add up, throw in a feisty omega, an Alpha who for reasons that would become clear is more blind, a non mating and a whole lot of flatulence makes this a book laugh out loud funny and worth reading.
3.5 ⭐️......................This was such a fun and fast read. The tittle wouldn’t suggest that, but it was. I loved the enemies to lovers thing that Adrian and Pierce had going on. They got off to a really rough start, but it lead to some hilarious moments. The things I really liked about this book was that it focused on building healthy communication and building a loving foundation for starting a family. And if things were cute and mushy and funny in between all the seriousness of case the team was working? Well, I’m here for it 😊. This one is getting a solid three and a half stars.
I love this series, it is hilarious. Pierce found his true mate while on an assignment for an abduction case. He would have known Adrian was his true mate if it wasn't for the peppermint oil he had to pour under his nose to get rid of his colleague's excessive gas passing. Although Pierce and Adrian had a rough start, helping clear Adrian's brother of abduction charges also helped their bond. The mayor lied about the abduction to hide his husband's infidelity. Glad everything worked out and the Mayor got what he deserved.💛💛
Pierce goes after a kidnap victim only to discover his mate and that maybe what the team was told his wrong. Adrian loves his life but when he finally realizes what is happening is because of the alpha he had met earlier, he is not sure what to think. As these two work on their relationship and try to unravel the confusion about the supposed kidnap victim, you will be in for a ride.
abduction is the second book in the Alphabits series by Susi Hawke and Crista Crown and it is absolutely amazing! The hilarious moments you can expect from this writing duo, the sweet scenes between lovers and the steamy sexytimes that are so so good. I love this series so far and can not wait to see what is up next for this team of hot alphas and their true mates!
Pierce and Cyrus on a job together is so downright outrageously funny! Then you factor in Pierce and Adrian going after each other like a couple of wolfs and you have the makins of a very good fast moving story. Pierce and Adrian got off on the wrong foot but they didn't let it stop them from mating when heat hit. Then we have an adorable baby and some creative ways of thinking. Abduction is funny, fast moving and very well written.
The Alphabits series is a spin-off to the ALPHA Team series, and although it's not necessary to read it prior to starting this one, I would highly recommend it. Both series are fantastic, exciting, full of hilarious banter, and suspenseful twists that you'll never see coming. You won't want to miss it! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and great authors.
Once again you have made a remarkable world for your readers to read the dynamic goals it's energetic passionate a love of the heart warm scene of the families I also love that you literally add their riginal alphas guys know and them into the mix we keep up of the Perkins and bomber and be funny I would love to see Tony Lake pizzas for both sets of teams and how love it thank you want more of looking fortune were thank you
Another great add to the series. Pierce and Adrian met when they both are trying to save the same pup; thinking the other is wrong of course. Adrian is tough and speaks his mind no matter what and he definitely doesn't need a Alpha-hole trying to boss him around. I love Adrian's family ties and how that leads to this books story, I hope we see more of his brother and possibly he gets a book. Each book flows into the other and all the characters embrace the new mates. Can't wait for the next.
Pierce was not expecting to ever find his true mate, but he never imagined his mate would be involved in his next case. Adrian never expected that he would meet his mate, while said mate was tracking down his half brother and nephew. Lots of complications and misunderstandings threaten to come between them, as they seek their HEA. Another great story in the Alphabits spinoff series.
