I picked up this wee book as I took the "Doric: an introduction to north eastern scots" course in university, hoping to broaden my vocabulary a bit.
it's a great introduction to the language, though it has very little explanation and is more like a word list. It also has some words I discussed with my lecturer, are not at all common words or spellings, which is a shame.

If you're interested in learning Scots you'll want a copy of this charming little book.
