This felt like a painfully slow read. There's plenty of stuff happening, the focus switches between several characters, there are a lot of plot twists and a butt-load of comic-style mechanics - clones, hacking, origin stories, chemicals, restrictions that don't make sense in the real world. Even with the small detail about Bomb Queen's origin, I can't recommend this mess. It's not even a parody, it's just awful. Also, it's not divine or a comedy.

New Port City's popularity has skyrocketed, so overcrowding starts to be a problem even with people killing each other right and left. The shortage of food is solved for a while with a little cannibalism, even if the child trade takes a hit. Bomb Queen is forced to ask for double the resources from the city's main supplier, Littleville, a town that is the exact opposite of New Port City. Even smoking is banned there, not to mention swearing or little things like killing your family.

During this time a serial killer is loose in Littleville, but the authorities try to keep his existence and their suspicions that he comes from New Port City a secret. They call on their own superhero to visit Bomb Queen, a guy called the White Knight.

A group of internet geeks is trying to get a major scoop, so they focus in turn on Bomb Queen (which gets one of them kidnapped by Bomb Queen), the White Knight (info on him would release their friend, but they have no leads) and ultimately the serial killer (which might get them killed). They also have Dee Rail join them, a hero with the ability to ride the rails - I dare anyone to mention something cool about this character.

After an overly long story, the final battle and revelations were still unable to save the chaos in this arc.

Huge improvement over the last volume. Loved to see the good town right next door and a bit more of how the city functions if it is all just lawless chaos.

New Port City is filled with every possible vice; Littleville is the moral upstanding opposite. When the town that supplies New Port comes under attack from within, Bomb Queen departs to investigate why all is not as it seems in the quiet little town - and is stuck with a tagalong blog crew of comic geeks to boot!
