Ung first meeting nila Logan & Portia. That was rape. Portia is drunk for god's sake at di sya makakapagbigay ng consent if she wanted it, but still Logan,. So no no no.

🧒🏻 Logan Griffin Torrealba
👧🏻 Portia Cecilia Ignacio

Pinakatumatak talaga ang librong ito ni Jonaxx dahil kapangalan ko ang FL. This is my first time encountering a book and a lead having the same name as mine and I'm so kinikilig.

*These are my notes while reading the story! SPOILER ALERT! Sorry for this because I really tend to forget the stories I've read so I really need to do this! 🤧

- At some point, aside sa pareho kami ng name Inkinda relate to Portia in terms of pleasing my own family, full of insecurities dahil sa step sister niya me in my own older sister, nobody's girl and not getting enough love from my own family (especially from my mom).

- I want a Logan Torrealba in my life not as a playboy but a savior that can save me from this miserable life. Kahit laro-laro lang nung una ay nakita naman natin ang character development niya. 🤧

- I think may gusto na talaga si Logan kay Portia una pa lang. Maybe he approached her because he already likes her. 🥰 He's just using playboy side to get close to Portia. Because you know actions speak louder that words gurlllzzz. And I can definitely sa actions ni Logan. Iba talaga atake niya in their arrangement. 🤧

- Fuck, favoritism! Fuck you, Katelyn! Damn exhibit! I hope I have Portia's courage to voice out my frustrations too.😭 Fuck, I hope I have a Logan too who I can lean on and gusto ko lang umiyak at ilabas ang sama ng loob ko sa isang tao. Good thing Portia has Logan now. 🤧

- Ch.16 (So Cold) I live Logan in this chapter. He's just there for Portia. No questions at all. Sa part na to naintidihan ya ang nararamdamn ni Portia without asking questions. He's comforting him without knowing the whole story. Alam na niya kumbaga ang ibig sabihin without asking. He felt Portia's loneliness.🤧 I really yung pag-stay niya just to comfort Portia. This line "I'm gonna sleep here. You look so lonely when you're alone. And you're so cold..."DAMN! Lord, isang Logan naman po oh! 🙏🏻

- Logan Griffin Torrealba is the epitome of rich, one heck of a businessman, playboy na f*ck ang gusto sa babae. He is the epitome of my dream guy na medyo bastos but I think in reality mahirap partner ang ganitong lalaki. 🤧

- Ch.21 Seriously Logan, Brandon is your cousin. Nagseselos ka sa pinsan mo. Ang possessive masyado. 🔥

- Ch. 22 Find someone like Logan na sususportahan ka sa passion mo like how he supports Portia's passion in painting. That line "Stop thinking about other people. I want u to think about yourself..." DAMN! That's hits different!💞

- Find a guy na ipagluluto ka. Tha act of service nga naman. Ano ba Logan? 🤧

- I also can't blame Portia on not hating Logan about his revenge. That's her mother for God's sake. I really understand her and of course she's also inlove already so I really understands her feelings. 😭

- I really want how they end their arrangement. No confrontations and no shouting just mere casual talking of wanting as out in their arrangement. Yeah probably revenge nga nung una ang habol ni Logan but I think he fell in love too. And hindi ko din ma-blame si Portia because how can you not fall in love sa isang Logan Torrealba na kahit playboy eh with his acts of services.🤧

- Ch. 29 Are you kidding me? Logan Torrealba is begging. Oh no! He fell really hard. 🔥

- That's the sweetest birthday gift! Her favorite painting when she was young which is the "SATELLITE". And mind you Logan bought it 3x its price.

- Ch. 30 I love Portia's decision. Don't let the problem be solved na papakasalan si Clyde. I think deserve naman ni Clyde ang someone na magmamahal sa kanya hindi yun tatangap siya ng responsibilidad na hindi naman Sa kanya. You can have the child alone and huwag na mandamay ng iba. Karma na siguro dahil nagmahal ka ng bawal kaya need siya maghandle mag-isa. 🤧

- Okay give me the most anticipated meet up again this happens in the exhibit.

- Like seriously Katelyn ang feeling mo naman. Copy cat lang naman gawa mo. Ang yabang!😡

- Ch. 38 Ano ba Logan? What's your purpose? Mag-usap kayo ng maayos. This really shows that communication is really important in a relationship. Napakagaling mong mag-investigate pero sa yan mali ang nasagap mo na may asawa na si Portia. 😅

- Ch. 48 Aminan chapter! That line "I am inlove with you, until now...After everything! Please, please take me back. Take me back, Porsch! I want you to take me back" Please just be back together. Be happy!🤧

- Ch. 51 Nakakainis silang mag-ina. Like seryoso ba gawain yun ng ina. The favoritism is very evident. Damn Carina and Katelyn.😡

- Ch. 60 This line of Logan "I am in love with you, Portia. It's only you for so many years. And it would stay that way I am sure. I am marrying you because I am in love with you. So much..."

Give In To You is not your typical taguan ng anak troupe. I really love this story. Their hardships and struggles before maging sila is very realistic not the cliche ones. I hope more special for moment ng mag-ama. And I want to see the reactions of Logan's family kapag nalaman nilang may anak siya. 🤧 But all in all I really really love Portia and Logan's story! Some things and the feelings of the characters in this story really resonates my my life!💙

Reading Give In to You by Jonaxx made me realize how deeply family—or the lack of it—can shape someone’s heart. Porsha’s story hit me hard. She didn’t grow up with a complete, loving family, yet she still managed to carry herself with grace and strength. Her life wasn’t easy. Her father had his own family, and her mother—who should’ve been her safe place—used her, neglected her, and pushed her to constantly sacrifice for her stepsister, Katelyn.

It broke my heart to see how Porsha was treated like she never mattered. She was a daughter, but treated like a tool. And yet, she never gave up. She kept choosing to live, to love, and to forgive. That’s what moved me the most—her ability to forgive despite everything. She’s a living reminder that even if the world is cruel, we can still choose to be kind and strong.

I honestly hated her mother more than her father. There’s a different kind of pain when the one who’s supposed to protect you is the one who tears you down. But through Porsha, I realized how important it is to be grateful for life, even if it’s not perfect. Even if you weren’t born into a happy home, you can still write your own story.

And then there’s Logan. I loved him not just for how he cared for Porsha, but also for the battles he faced within himself. He wanted revenge—he was hurt, angry, and broken. But love changed him. Porsha changed him. He realized that revenge won’t give him peace, that healing only comes when we choose to forgive. His journey from bitterness to love was painful but powerful.

Their story is a reminder that love isn’t just about the good times—it’s about staying, fighting, and growing through pain. It shows that even if life gets heavy, as long as you’re with someone who truly sees and loves you, the weight becomes bearable.

This book taught me:
• You don’t have to come from a perfect family to deserve love.
• Forgiveness is not weakness—it’s freedom.
• Love doesn’t always fix everything, but it helps you survive anything.

Give In to You isn’t just a romance—it’s a journey of healing, self-worth, and choosing love in a world that often gives us reasons to stop believing in it.

Definitely my favorite installment in GLS.

Logan is definitely my fave GLS man and Portia is a close 2nd for me when it comes to my fave GLS women just right behind Avon.

Katelyn and Carina are TRASH. Stupid, gaslighter in its finest, copycat and insecure btches. They would use Portia's weakness, which is to be treated like family by her family, to get what they want from her like telling Portia to give up her passion for painting just so Katelyn's so-so works could shine. But the worst is telling Portia to give up Logan just for Katelyn even after knowing that Logan is Beau's father because as per her mom, Portia was fine without a complete family. What a total BS. And when Portia refuses, they accused her of being ungrateful that she would cross her family just for a man when all her life, Portia has been hell bent on pleasing them just to have even the slightest of their affection.

I don't know how I feel about Logan forgiving Portia's dad just like that tho. But i'm glad to see that he had a character development and eventually treated Portia the way she deserves.

I'm curious what happened to Maja and Clyde tho. 👀

And lastly, it's satisfying to see how Jonaxx improved her writing style all throughout the GLS. From cringy EBNAB to a better written ONOL to this more well written finale, GITY.

GLS may not be for everyone, but for me, I truly love this story, including the writing. Some may feel uncomfortable with the idea that Portia was drunk during their encounter and see it as non-consensual. However, I don’t believe that’s the case. If Logan had taken advantage of her, Portia would have been angry or taken legal action. While she may have been intoxicated, she was still aware of what she was doing.

I love this story because it was perfect for me. Portia is a character who has been searching for love her entire life. She always felt like the unwanted child, but when Logan came into her life, she felt whole. Even before Logan, she was already a strong and great person. I love her character because someone with her background could have easily become rebellious, yet she didn’t. As for Logan, I love him because he’s the only one who truly understands Portia. He’s the kind of man that anyone would want.

I also admire Jonaxx for how well she thinks. Her writing, plots, and twists are always interesting. I noticed that she loves art, and in many of her stories, there’s always something related to it. That’s another reason I love reading her books—because I love art too.

I usually read Filipino books this month, but boy do I regret picking this one.

Right off the bat, who even writes a 500-page romance novel? Thank you for allowing me to read your first draft, I guess. I've read a few of hers and they're all the same, recycled stories. The writing was bland, redundant, and irritating. Jonaxx's use of ellipses reminded me of a boomer writer. But I guess critiquing her style won't help.

The characters are comical and full of mediocrity. Pick-me girl and a creepy guy with anger issues. The ideal couple for a red-flag relationship. The dialogue was so weird. I felt like I was reading a script for an SNL skit. Although I appreciated the family drama and the discussion of the justice system, the main conflict was so lame. This book was pure comedy. I really can't do this. 💀

Another thing is that I really hate adding a hidden pregnancy as a subplot. When I got into that chapter, I knew this book was going to be thrown across the bin.

Reading her works was a chore, and the only thing I look forward to is the ending, because it is finally coming to an end. I feel like my purpose in life as a reader is to talk shit about these kinds of stories.

It almost put me in a reading slump. I'm never going to do this again.

My fave in Good Lips Series. Compared to the first 2 stories in the GLS, I got more ‘feels’ in this one. I felt the characters’ emotions more as well. All the emotions, sensations that this story made me feel—I’ll never forget them. The way it made the butterflies in my stomach burst, the way it made me feel annoyed, frustrated, & the ultra mega super duper kilig that I felt—it’ll forever stay in my system. This story made me cuss countless of times (mind you that I really hate cussing—it disgusts me) because there are points where all I could do is to curse those certain characters and wish they were dead.

I really loved this! I still love it and I will always do. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER WORK OF ART, JONAXX! You did a great job. Thank you so much.

This is, without a doubt, my ultimate favorite taguan ng anak trope! There’s just something about it that draws me in, no matter how many times I’ve read it. Back in college and even into my early 20s, I’d find myself rereading it over and over again—it’s like comfort food for my soul. Even now, I’m still hooked, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

She was drunk. She can't give consent.

and yet the fans of this so-called writer glorified her again when this is obviously problematic. having s*x with someone whose obviously drunk is gross. really, really gross.
