'Love can either destroy you, or bring you back to life.
Dom, Casa & Harlow
1992

Casa only cares for two things in this life: his club—the Devil’s Highwaymen—and sex. That is until he meets Harlow. She’s feisty, passionate, and doesn’t fall for his usual charms. She’s perfect for him…but she belongs to someone else.
Harlow is broken; she has been for a long time. With nowhere to go, and worse, no one to go to, she’s become a clubslut for the West Side Bangers. That is until a chance meeting with her old friend and former lover, Dom, brings their worlds colliding together once more.
Dom is on a one-way train to hell; the guilt of losing his soulmate is killing him—but he can’t tell anyone about it. That is until he finds a brief respite from his suffering in the form of Harlow, the woman whose heart he once broke.
With all three set on their own self-destructive paths, they’ve only got one chance to make things right—but only if they can learn to forgive, and then to love again.
The funny thing about love is, it’s both painless and painful, and not even death can end the suffering.

★4.5 Ride or Die Stars★
"To love was to accept that you couldn't control everything-not life, not death, and not anything in between."
description

Ride or Die #2 is the second book in the Ride or Die Series. Cee Cee Riley delivers a dynamic MC Romance with complex characters living in a dark and dangerous world. With an astonishing blend of passion, romance, and healing. This second book in the series transports you to another world where love and life are on the line. Although it is certainly beneficial to read Ride or Die #1 first, you can certainly read and enjoy Ride or Die #2 as a stand-alone.

"I had never meant to fall in love with either man, but love is a duplicitous bitch and she'd found her way into my heart regardless of what I wanted."

Dom is a confident biker who has lived a hard life. Although he has always maintained control in his life after experiencing a great loss, everything in his world is spinning out of control. When Harlow, an important person from his past, resurfaces in his life, Dom clings to her and brings her home. Dom and Harlow have a long history together and both depend on each other to supply comfort and healing to one another. As Dom finds himself caught up in the chaos of the club, another brother moves in on Harlow. Casa aka "Casanova" has no trouble getting women in his bed and yet, Harlow makes him work for it. When Dom recognizes that his brother Casa is moving in on "his girl" chaos ignites. As Harlow struggles to find the strength to move past the pain from her past, Dom and Casa battle for her heart. But when the truth is revealed, all three will do whatever it takes to forgive and find love.

"You could have anyone, so why her?"
Told in multiple POV, Ride or Die #2 is an absolutely stunning MC Romance that explores the depths of broken relationships. It is raw and real as Harlow, Dom, and Casa struggle through pain and breakthrough to find the strength to survive. The dynamics between Dom and Harlow, Dom and Casa, and Casa and Harlow are all unique and as each layer of their story is revealed, I became more invested in their success both individually and as a whole. Their journey evokes tears of pain and overwhelming moments of joy. The passion that exists between these three is searing hot and as Harlow finds her match, beauty is reborn. I am simply blown away by the intensity that exists in these relationships and paired with the action that is building in the club, I simply could not put this book down. The text flows naturally and as the action drives the plot forward the story weaves into an extraordinary work of art. Cee Cee Riley is a truly gifted storyteller and Ride or Die #2 is a story that I will never forget.

description

Overall, I highly recommend Ride or Die #2 to all of my MC Romance friends who don't mind to push the boundaries and find beauty through pain. This second book in the series is by far my favorite and I look forward to more Devil's Highwaymen. If you are looking for a gritty, raw, and real romance than look no further, Ride or Die #2 delivers.

Genre: Contemporary Romance
Type: Book 2 of A Devil's Highwaymen MC Series
POV: First Person – Multiple

Dom is a member of the Devi's Highwaymen; he has a secret that has haunted him all his life. The death of his lover left him broken, wounded and confuse. He finds Harlow; who he has history with and he now is ready to make better choices and work things out with her. What he didn't expect was that Harlow has finally gotten over him and her broken heart.

"I'd live the lie because it was easier than living the truth. And Harlow would be my unwilling accomplice."

Harlow left everything; her life of money to be with Dom. When Dom abandons her she has nothing; she refused to go back to her rich family and make fun of. Instead; she gets lost in herself and makes poor choices until she is met with Dom once again. This time she is ready to change her life for good and make something for herself.

"Casa was a mystery to me. But one that I wanted to peel back every layer of until I reached his core.  He was a mystery that I wanted to uncover in the best possible way."

When Dom takes Harlow back under his protection he decided to keep her protected no matter what. The club was in the middle of war and Harlow had to have someone to watch over her while he was traveling with the guys.

Casa was no babysitter and he hated the position he was put in but he sure was a manwhore and when he saw Harlow he didn't budge too much. I actually like Casa a lot. He was a manwhore but he didn't deny it and he was upfront about it. When things started to get heated between him and Harlow he didn't know what to think of it. He surely has never been in love and didn't want to but something about the way he felt when he was around Harlow made him change too.

"Looking into Harlow's gaze was like staring into the purest of souls. It was beautiful and harrowing all at the same time. And I thrived on seeing that kind of pain."

Ride or Die #2 is told in multiple POV, this MC Romance has it all, action, broken relationships, feels, and there were a lot of funny parts I enjoyed as well. The story of Dom, Harlow and Casa is one you don't want to miss. I found myself loving all the characters in this book. This book was so hard to put down; once I started I was unable to stop until I finished it. The end was my utmost favorite; I absolutely loved the way the author wrapped this book up and made you want more of this bikers.

Overall; I freaking loved this book!! It was hot, the chemistry was on point and I like this heroine so much better not perfect she still annoyed me a little but she was stronger in my eyes. This book will be appealing to any reader who enjoy MC stories and to anyone who enjoys a good MM action; this will be even better. I honestly think even though it is beneficial to read Ride or Die #1 first, it is not required and you can most certainly read and enjoy Ride or Die #2 as a stand-alone.

This was a F(BR) with my girl Liz!

No respect for women, not even old ladies. All are treated as trash and bitches.
🤮
Our heroine has no backbone. She is a doormat and accepts abuse from all.
In the end I did not even care about her anymore.
🤷
===================

Dom
Back then, I had gotten on my bike and ridden away from her and forced myself not to think about her ever again. No matter how much I missed her, or needed her.

Months since Butch was killed. Months since I lost my best friend, and the man I was in love with but had been too scared to do anything about.

========================
Harlow
But I didn’t dream. I didn’t dream anymore. Dreams were for the childish ones that believed in happily ever afters and fairy tales where princes came to save them. Yeah, dreams had no place in my life.

I swallowed down the lump in my throat and tried to ignore the dirty feeling I had in the pit of my stomach when I recalled letting some of the Bangers take me into a back room and fuck me one after another.

I had felt unwanted for years— by Dom, by my parents, and by any man that had fucked me. This was no different. Things were no different. The lump in my throat hung so heavily it was almost choking me, and I knew I had to get out of there.

==========================
Casa
Bitch was hot, no doubt, but she was like every other piece of ass out there— easy. Bet she liked freeloading off Dom, too. Got a nice place to live in, brother to fuck, and pieces of action on the side. She clearly knew how to take care of herself. I sucked in my bottom lip and appraised her from head to toe.

She smiled, I smiled— I bet my cock even smiled. Knew this bitch was dirty, wanting to do it outside and shit. Maybe she wasn’t as predictable as I thought.
And then she stepped back inside and slammed the door shut in my face.

His nostrils flared. “And you clubsluts are all the same,” he sneered. “You freeloading off my boy so you can get an easy life? Well, he won’t claim you, girl. Man like him ain’t made to settle down with one woman. So you’re wasting your time.”

“Cocktease,” he sneered, his chest rising and falling.

=====================
Harlow
I was not a clubslut anymore. Or a sweetbutt. Or someone’s bitch. Or old lady… that was just laughable. I was Harlow Bernadette McQueen. I was a strong, independent woman, and I would do something with my life, even if it killed me.

======================
Casa
I leaned in and placed a hard, rough kiss on her puckered mouth. I didn’t kiss women, ever. It was a rule that I didn’t break for anyone. But this wasn’t a kiss, this was a motherfucking brand upon that sweet and feisty mouth of hers. And there wasn’t anything gentle or romantic about this.

I groaned as my balls drew tight and I blew my load into the back of Apryl’s throat.

Fucking beautiful, all of them. Loved nothing more than pussy. Any pussy at all, I wasn’t a picky man. It was all the same to me.

Pussy was great. If it wasn’t for my club responsibilities, I’d fucking live, eat, and breathe pussy. One pussy was never enough for one man. Ten, even twenty wouldn’t be enough. Pussy was there to be fucked, and men, we were made to spread our seeds into as many of them as possible to procreate the human fucking race. Helped that it felt so fucking good, too.

============================
Dom
“You can take the sweetbutt from the club, but you can’t take the club out of the sweetbutt. Ain’t that right, Red?” I sneered and pushed past her again. “It wasn’t like that!” she cried after me, and I turned to face her, hating the pain written across her face but wanting more of it all the same.

“I said get the fuck out of here. You’re a dirty slut, Harlow. No man will ever make you his old lady, because no man wants to share your pussy with the rest of his fucking club. Now get your shit and get the fuck out!”

And I’d show this bitch that unless you wore your old man’s patch, you were nothing but a whore for this club. Just like Harlow had been.
“Dom—” “Now, Rose!” I barked out, pulling her as I started to walk away.

=======================
Casa
Jada walked around to the edge of the stage and I held a hand out to help her down the stairs like I was a fucking gentlemen or some shit. Yeah right. She smiled, I smiled, she looked down and saw my raging hard-on for her, I looked down and saw she was dripping for me, and before I knew it I had her bent over the stage while I rolled on a condom on and buried my cock deep inside of her.

Margot, the woman who ran the cleaning company, came in to inspect their work, but before doing so she came over to me. Margot was a tall woman. Like, really fucking tall. Woman was almost seven feet, and built like a shotput thrower, with arms like tree trunks. Fucked like a tree, too; just stood there and let you go to town on her ass, barely making a grunt as you rutted into her. Weirdest fuck I’d ever had, but pussy is pussy and ass is ass, and I lived for both.

This was not how shit with me went down. I didn’t chase bitches. Bitches chased me, hence Margot dancing like a wannabe stripper on the stage right then and my cock still wet from whatever that other girls name was. Harlow needed to be put in her place and shown how shit worked around here.

=======================
Dom
I’d live the lie because it was easier than living the truth. And Harlow would be my unwilling accomplice.

“After all this time, you want to me to stop? Ain’t this the dream for you? Dom and Harlow, together at last. No Butch in the way to fuck it up for you this time, huh? Your parents not around to give me shit about not being good enough for their precious little Harlow. We’re good to go. Even got you a readymade house and everything.”

“He’s dead and you’re still fucking jealous of him? Is that it, Harlow? You worried you can’t compete with his cock?”

“Then tell me what it’s like then. Because all I know is that you’ve been chasing me for fucking years with those big eyes and bouncy tits of yours, and when I finally give it to you on a plate, you fucking turn me down.”

====================
Casa
She shrugged, sad again. “It’s a real long story.” “Is it really?” I asked. “Because from where I’m standing, it seems like it’s gotta be a quick fall from a princess to whore.”

“Of course I think you’re beautiful. I think anything with a snatch and tits is beautiful.”

I wasn’t selfish when it came to sex— far from it— but my pleasure was always more important than theirs.

Fuck, she was tight. Considering she had been a clubslut for the Bangers, I was surprised. Clubsluts took more dick than they did hot meals, yet if I didn’t know any better I’d think she was a fucking virgin.

She stood up too, reaching for me as I moved out of her reach. “Casa? What’s wrong?”
“I need you to get out,”
“I said get out.” I looked back at her, hating myself even more as realization flashed across her face. “You fucking deaf, H? I said get out,” I barked out with a snarl.

I laughed. “She fucked me and she fucking loved it. Bitch screamed my name till her throat was hoarse.”

Women are good for two things only: sucking cock and fucking cock. Ain’t that right, Casa?” “Fuck yeah,”

Blowing my load now would be just what I wanted. Fucking Devlin till she screamed my name and clawed at my back, yeah, that was exactly what I wanted.

I know this is going to be fucking epic so
#sorrynotsorry

19/10/2017 Update

It was fucking epic! Damn. Sigh...

Chaotic, crazy, messed up and so bloody good! And now its over. :(

Dom.... My heart broke for this man... I wanted to slap him as hard as I wanted to wrap him up in a cotton ball and keep him safe and at the same time, I was holding my breath for him to finally find the light and just be Dom.

This book touched on something that for me personally was very easy to go through, but for others, it can be a daily struggle of just trying to breathe. Excepting ones own Sexual Orientation, especially if its frowned upon and seen as defiled or disgusting in society, can be a lethal festering cancer not many will survive. It's the core reason why we are losing so many LGBTQ youths today to suicide and depression.

I can go on and on about this topic but, understand that the things Dom struggled with are a very real reality many LGBTQ individuals ( young and matured) struggle with and have to face day in and day out.

Casa... OMG I can't with this man, I wanted to punch him in the dick, and also kiss him... So much the right kind of wrong. He was hot, sexy in his own way but also, I wanted to fucking choke you sometimes.

Harlow... kinda scared me, because I saw so much of myself in her, her fierceness of wanting love, her unending fire to want to protect the people she called her family. Her courage and her fear. Reading her... It hit a very vulnerable place in my heart being able to relate to her so well, and I have never come across a book where I could relate this accurately to a character.

But... my heart will always belong to Dom.

We met Casa and Dom in book 1 of the series. Casa, known as Casa-efffing-Nova, is a man-ho and is committed to never settling down to one woman. Dom is also a member of the club who is hiding the fact he is gay and that he had an ongoing affair with the Prez's brother, Butch, from book one. Butch gets killed and when book 2 starts Dom is grieving very badly and is in a state of total depression from guilt and the loss of Butch. During a visit to another club, Dom finds Harlow, his long lost high school sweetheart. They loved one another and were with one another for years before he left her for Butch. Harlow has slid down the rabbit hole and is a clubslut for the other club. Dom rescues her and brings her back to his club. He still loves her and she loves him but not in a romantic way now, it's more like brother/sister but then he tries to use Harlow to cover him being gay. Casa feels an immediate attraction when he sees her but fights it. Harlow shows a lot of personal growth in the book as she gains her independence and decides she deserves more in life. While Dom made me furious when he tried to claim her knowing he would never be able to give her the type of love she needed, my heart broke for him and his battle about coming out to the world with his being gay. In a way, Harlow let both Dom and Casa use her during the book but I also felt like she gradually gained her strength and independence. She finally stood up to both of them. There's no cheating IMO. Casa/Harlow get a HEA. Poor Dom gets a HFN.

Like I said these characters will make you mad, sad, feel good and LOL.

I loved this second book in the series even more than the first one. Casa and Harlow were refreshing and funny together while she was dealing with the broken and confused Dom. There were elements of this story that were very true to life (the absolute heartbreak of a woman loving a gay man as more than friends) but I feel like it was all handled sensitively and the resolution to Dom and Harlow's story was well done.
Casa is that alpha male player who doesn't want to EVER be tied down to one woman, yet Harlow brings him to his knees...and not vise versa which is often the case with bikers and women.
Looking forward to more from this MC as there are other members who deserve to have their stories told as well. Bravo on a job well done!

Cheating and h sees Casa having sex with ow. He thinks she’s with Dom but they are now just best friends and love each other like family. Dom with Rose was rough and made him an asshole but he was so broken hearted over Butch. I hope he and Parker can comfort each other and find love. HEA

I love MC Bikers romances and this one was good one but I didn't like with the way the brothers treated some of the women in this story. Both Casa and Dom was mean to Harlow when she was so forgiving to both men. I mean I know they were struggling with love and the pain of death but it was to hard for me and they way Dom and Pops let Rose go was painful but so happy Casa got his heart together with Harlow and Dom letting some of his pain go. That's the only thing I didnot like about the story, will still read the next book and recommend this book!

Book 2 in the Ride or Die Series, I found this easier to read, with a better flow than book 1 in the series. However Claire's writing is again fantastic and the characters she uses as her main focus here are addictive and you can't help but want to read more and more.

Going into this book I had heard a lot of people talking about Casa and how he swept them off their feet with his attitude and egotistical self assurance. So I was taken by surprise when for me my heart is all about Dom in this book! That man's story just sung to me, he is vulnerable, grief stricken, unsure of what path he needs to take and well just broken. Using the heroine Harlow as a source of comfort that he has to navigate both their feelings through the fog of despair he is living in was a fascinating storyline for me. The actions Dom takes in the book, shocked me but immediately after my heart tore apart for him and that is all to do with Claire's writing in this one moment in particular with Rose at the club, it was just all the things!!

Harlow the heroine is a sweet butt that was involved with Dom before he figured out woman aren't his thing. When Dom finds her looking like a hot mess, and he is reeling after the loss of Butch he thinks he can rekindle what they had before, seeking comfort is his intention; but an act he couldn't follow through on. He takes Harlow in knowing she has nowhere to go and tries to rekindle their relationship. So begins a tumultuous friendship of unresolved feelings and misguided anger. Harlow is sassy, but lonely and just wants someone to realise her worth and make her feel like she is worth loving too.

Casa a fellow brother to Dom, takes a liking to Harlow, as he does for any woman; however Harlow is fiesty and mouths off at him when she thinks he is a pledge not a patched in brother and this made for so many scenes that put a huge grin on my face. Casa has never had a woman stand up to him before or one who didn't throw herself at his dick as soon as he looked their way, and as much as he tries to fight it he can't get Harlow out of his mind.

Watching Casa and Harlow's relationship blossom, despite Casa's reluctance to be a one woman brother, made for an engaging read and the chemistry built with a steady pace and a chemistry that felt real and gave me all the ups and downs I love in a romance read. Add into the mix Dom and Casa coming to blows over a woman and their brotherhood on the line, things get very heated!

Dom's growth throughout the novel gripped my heart, and at the end there was some level of acceptance and something developing that may heal the pieces of his broken heart, it left me craving for more of Dom's story, he was more complex and more broken than I expected. Despite his actions throughout the book, I just couldn't dislike him, there are so many elements to him and a goodness that hides under all the anger. I can't wait to see him flourish and shine like he is meant to!

I look forward to whatever is to come in Book 3 because the storyline is upping the anty and I want to know so much more about so many of the other Devils Highwaymen Brothers.

This series is becoming quite the addictive ride. I loved this book more then the first one, there were so many emotions swimming around in my head reading this.

Soon as I started this book I was completely gripped, I thought this was Dom's story, and in a way it was but it was mainly Casa's and after being introduced to him in the first book I was looking forward to Casa 'f**king* Nova finally meeting his match.

My heart really broke for Dom. Grief is an awful emotion to go through without having to do it in secret, throw in him being reunited with his first love and his emotions are a powder keg waiting to explode. There were certain points though that I really wanted to punch him in the nuts and slap him upside his head! I did love how when he finally came clean to his brothers about his sexuality they embraced it and accepted him for who he was.

Now lets talk Casa, I love this dirty talking, arrogant, Alpha Male! yes again I wanted to occasionally punch him in the balls and slap upside his head a few times (I know it seems to be a common occurrence with these men) He is so badly the right kind of wrong! I know he showed an interest in Harlow at first to annoy Dom and the fact that she didn't' immediately drop her panties for his smile like other girls, but she really sparked an interest and feelings in him that he had never felt before.

I just wanted to take Harlow home with me away from these idiot males that just seem intent on breaking her heart more and more. The poor girl has been through so much and hit rock bottom, so when she saw Dom again she saw this as her chance to maybe get her HEA. She's so beautifully vulnerable but a lot stronger then she thought. Its always hard loving someone who doesn't love you back, but loving a gay man who is offering himself to you because he's grief stricken is absolutely heartbreaking.

I loved how this triangle played out, it was gripping, passionate, frustrating and full of passion and love.

After the way this book ended I would love to see what happens next for Dom but the teaser for Guage's story OMG!! this is going to be epic!

Omg wow, after reading book 1 I couldn't wait for book 2, now I really really need book 3 asap
so hurry up claire lol.
Casa made me laugh so much, he's cocky and arrogant but you can't help but love him and wanna hit him . Harlow is a strong fearless woman I loved her and she don't take much crap but still vulnerable at times. Dom oh god my heart broke for him so much, his love loss and struggles had me in tears.

This story unfolds beautifully.
Claire took me on an emotional rollercoaster with this, its gritty, intense, heartbraking
and at times funny.
Has loads of sexual chemistry, angst, raw love, violence and big bad sexy bikers.

4.5 Crowns

Book 2 in the A Devil’s Highwaymen MC Novel series. Although each book follows the lives and loves of different members, this book really need to be read following book 1 to get the full emotional journey that certainly one of the main characters in this book goes through. The club’s dealings are also a continuing story, so do yourself a favour and stop reading this and go read Ride or Die #1 first.

Harlow is back. Having been rescued by Dom, her first love and the man that broke her heart when he walked away, he is now giving her the opportunity of a fresh start. But loving Dom will only ever be a one way. Will she ever be loved the way she deserves?
Dom is struggling to cope with the grief of losing his soulmate. Guilt and secrets sit heavily on his shoulders, but maybe Harlow can make things easier. He loves her, so surely trying should be enough? His secret can remain just that, he can close that chapter of his life, it will be forgetting the feelings that will be hardest.

Casa loves his club and loves his women… lots of them. Never one to settle down, he likes to spread the love far and wide. Until a brother’s girl catches his eye. Feisty, stubborn and hot as they come, he knows he has to have her. But is he willing to break the rule and pursue another’s girl, even when he knows she’s off limits?

This is Dom, Harlow and Casa’s story and it is AMAZING!

So this genre was always my go to. I read book after book… and then I got bored. So it takes a really good story and cast of characters to get me interested to read in this genre now. Book 1 did that for me. I have met the author at several signings and hadn’t read any of her books, but my blog sister has and always raved about them, so I knew I had to give it a chance. Man, did that book suck me in. So having read and loved it I was chomping at the bit for Dom’s story, and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint.

I don’t want to go into the storyline too much as it would just spoil it, but assuming you have read book 1 (stop now if you haven’t) then you know that Butch and Dom had a relationship that they kept secret. Whilst Butch was proud of who he was, Dom wasn’t and this book will reflect on his deep love for Butch and the effects his death and hiding the passion they shared have had on Dom. Throw in Harlow, the girl that he left for Butch, the girl who he destroyed, but the girl he thinks somehow can patch him up so he can continue to live a lie. Well, yes it makes one hell of a journey. And then Casa-fucking-nova decides he wants a piece. This story become a love triangle that isn’t a love triangle, with lots of emotion, 3 people that are fighting their own demons and a club facing continuing threats from the mysterious “Reverend”. It really does make for one hell of a read.

Cee Cee Riley’s writing is addictive. It pulls you in and drags you along with the undulating pace she sets. Laughing one minute, heart-breaking the next. Her words and the flow of the story has me in a place that very rarely happens now in this genre; I need to know more about every single character. So whilst some HEA’s will be found, others not so much… yet? (Or so I hope) I now anxiously await the next instalment. Bring on Gauge… QUICK!

It wasn't easy for me to rate this book because, yeah, I guess, the problem is that biker clubs tend to be a bit ....rougher and less sophisticated than drawing rooms and kindergartens. The lifestyle that goes along with the whole biker club thing is hard and brutal and the women are not always respected - to put it mildly.
Jumping right in the middle of a gang war though, well, let's just say that there were many situations where I was really shocked about the things going on. Guns and fists are often used and the guys are as alpha as they come. And, if I am allowed this little innuendo - they tend to "come" rather often as well.

Okay, I really loved Harlowe and I would have loved to tell her to send all those guys to hell but unfortunately, she never listened to me... The guys, as in Casa and Dom, mainly, were not as easy to love or even to like as Harlowe. Dominant a......idiots, afraid to love, always playing (and failing) at playing the knight in shining armor only to hurt her even more the next moment and after everything hat had happened, I just wanted for Harlowe to find a place where she belonged and where she was loved.
The guys, well, ....I understand where they were coming from and why I it was so difficult for them to accept the things happening to them and I really understood that they had a problem dealing with their feelings but the way they lashed out at others, especially at Harlowe, in order to protect themselves, was unforgivable in my eyes. Every time I thought that they had finally redeemed themselves, it happened again and I really hated them for the things they did and the things they said when that happened.

Nevertheless, despite my problems with the club scene itself and its characters, this book is really well written, intense and just one of those books that draw you in and don't let you go before you've read it all.

Have you ever read a book that you really didn't want to rate 5 stars but you just had to because the book sucked you in so deep and brought out so emotions? Well, that's me and this book. I liked/loved/hated the three main characters at various times in the book. I felt angry, sad, happy and at time had LOL moments. Casa, Harlow and Dom are three of the most unlikable and likable characters you could ever imagine. Casa-effing-nova is a man-ho with a smart mouth, gorgeous body and a man all the women chase. He's committed never to be committed. Harlow is a clubslut from another club who Dom rescues and brings home because when they were younger, they were so much in love. When Dom leaves her she hits rock bottom and ends up becoming a person she hates. Dom has deep, dark secrets that he's afraid to let the world know about. But he loves Harlow and will always love her but not in the way he should. Dom wants to use her to cover his secret and Casa thinks he just wants to get in her pants. Harlow is just trying to bring herself back to the independent girl she used to be. It's a messed up story about different types of love, what people will sometimes do to hide secrets and it's about grief so deep it guts you. There were also so many witty exchanges in the book that I found myself laughing. I both loved and hated this book because my heart hurt so much for these three people.
This book could be read as a stand alone but I really recommend reading book 1 in the series. It was a 4 star read for me. I read this book on my Kindle Unlimited account but then I one clicked it and bought the book for my library as I'm sure I'll read it again. I'll definitely be reading Gauge's story to be released early 2018.
I love this author's writing style. It's not your fluffy MC story, the characters seem real, the emotions of the characters drag you in and once you start you've got to keep reading. Hope this series has a lot more books coming up.

From the very first page I was hooked. This wasn't your typical threesome/triangle. It was so so much more. It was packed full of angst, drama, highs and lows, plenty of steamy scenes and understanding and admittance.
Dom-oh he pipped my interest in book 1 and oh how he didn't disappoint. He was everything I envisioned he would be and so much more. He is a tortured soul one you feel you need to help.
Casa- He is a typical MC member who I really didn't want to like but I ended up loving him. He doesn't show his soft side but when he does he does it in style.
Harlow- Has previous with Dom and knows his secret. She doesn't want to fall for Casa but you can't fight the inevitable. She is the right fit for every aspect of club life and has a big enough heart to love two men even though it means different things for each man.
I absolutely loved this story and this series and I can't wait for Gauge's book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

I was given a copy for an honest review and thanks so Much for that I was dying for some more of these boys after the first book and this one did not disappoint!.

Harlow is a strong lead character. She's feisty and brave with real vulnerabilities that draw you to her..
I really liked the storyline between her and Dom.. The dynamics of their relationship and finding were they belong to each other

The continuation of Dom dealing with his sexuality and the relationships with his brothers and his love for Harlow..

Casa.. Aww man what a character! Bad boy with all the charm and the reputation of a heartbreaker.. Just the guy that draws me in like a moth to a flame.. He's one of my favourite MC characters I 💗 him and Harlow together!

I'm so glad to get some more butch in this one! And to see all the gang from book 1 continue through this story.

It was well written and flowed well. The duel POV was brilliantly done yet again! I'd recommend this to anyone who is a fan of MC books!

Of the 3 main characters in this story I felt sorry for Harlow, she was tough, feisty and very strong but both these guys treated her like crap. Neither knew what they had till they chucked it away. Honestly I think I would have taken a gun myself and shot them in a particular place to teach them a lesson. Yes I know Dom was grieving, but that's no excuse. Casa, well he was just living up to his name I guess. There is lots of angst in this book but also violence, some of it graphic. The suspense builds with the friction between this MC and the Reverend and his guys. One thing I will say is this author does not worry about killing off some of her main characters, that can make for some hard reading at times. But this is intense and gripping to the point I'm going to one click book three so I can jump straight back into the fray.

Arc in exchange for an honest review

Ride or Die #2 is the second book in the devil highwaymen series and what a book it was. This book follows Casa, Dom and Harlow. We're briefly introduced to the relationship between Dom & Harlow at the end of book 1 however there's so much more to these 2 than what meets the eye.
Harlow has been in love with Dom for years. They were childhood friends that developed into more for many years, that was until Dom realised he couldn't love her the way she deserved & broke her heart.
Fast forward into the future & Dom is back rescuing Harlow, and offering her the life she's always wanted with him. This time though, Harlow wants more. She knows his love will only ever be from friendship, and she believes enough in herself to know she wants more from this life.
Casa is a playboy. He's an alpha male, who loves his club and his women. He's looking for a good time without any strings. Obviously chemistry between Harlow & casa is off the charts, but with both wanting different outcomes from each other will they both get the HEA they deserve? Will casa leave his playboy ways for the love of a good woman?
This is a great read, and an even better series to start. My only complaint would possibly be that I'd have liked for more time with casa & Harlow but that's because I loved them so much together.

I love the men of the Devil's Highway MC. The women who tame them are such spitfires that you can't help but love them and pull for them. Dom, Harlow and Casa are awesome and at times hilarious. The hell they all go through is making them stronger. I can not wait for Gauge. This will be a interesting ride. Do Not Miss this series.

This was an amazing book. The love story between Harlow and Casa has its ups and downs, throw in Dom and it makes for an amazing story. As soon as I got close to the end I started stalking to see when book 3 would be out. A must read for anyone who loves MC romance books. Another hit out of the park.

I love this series and book two Casa and Harlow’s story did not disappoint. Casa doesn’t do relationships that is until he meets feisty Harlow a woman who won’t fall for him easily. Troubles at the club bring them closer together and Dom trying to force them apart. This is a must read MC series that I would highly recommend.

I'm still riding my high from this book! Dom, Harlow and Casa's story is NOTHING like I thought it would be but in all the best ways! Two broody, hot ass bikers and a former club slut (who somehow manages to have a sense of innocence about her) will have you unable to put this down! I just thought I loved Ride or Die 1 but this story was even better. I can't wait to know what happens in book 3!

Have to admit that this series first caught my eye with its balck and white cover and that awesome shock of purpleypink writing. I was so happy to know that when I got this book I was going to be able to read more about Dom because there was a few unanswered questions about him in book one. Even tho there guy are a little younger then what I'm used to when it comes to an MC read I can honestly tell you its not childs play.

Such an amazing MC read. Casa and Harlow are the perfect combo of sweet and crazy. Dom feels totally indebted to Harlow and poor Harlow has had such a rough life. This triangle takes you for such a deep rooted journey. I kept wondering which turn was going to be the final one. I devoured this book in one day.

I read the first book of the series, and all three characters are mentioned in Ride or Die #1, especially Casa and Dom, who are pivotal to the ending of book 1. Can't wait to read this book, since Dom is the one who took Harlow for the other crew on the first book!

Update 10/30: Cee Cee, you just kill me with these amazing intense characters and stories! Dom had lost the love of his life and looks to Harlow to heal him and save him. They were each other's first loves, but he left her for Butch and broke her. Casa is beautiful, dirty, and totally focused on himself and his club. Nothing else matters until the day he meets Harlow. Even though she's with Dom and living at Dom's, he wants her, but just as a conquest. Harlow has new used and abused by her family and men. She's been betrayed and thrown away. She wants real love. This book is so personal, so deep into the lives of these characters and their relationships!

It was a great read. I'm loving this series. It has great characters and a interesting story line that will grab your attention and keep you reading. I would of liked to see the h make them work a little harder at forgiveness but it didn't take away from how much I liked the book. I can't wait for more books in this series. It was well worth the read. Rated very good

In Ride or Die, we have several alpha male characters that struggled with acknowledging they have feelings. Being a brother in the MC club they were taught to be aggressive, confident, and arrogant. Men talked down to women barking orders to them.
The story was character driven by MC characters. This wasn’t your typical MC story. These characters had nothing but this club. They were family and they knew no other lifestyle. These men thrived on betraying each other bringing pain and misery to the men they called brothers.
This is not my go to genre. I’m neither a fan of MC or alpha males, but I did win this book so I’m going to read and review it. The men in this story had this mentality that women were toys for them to play with. Harlow was different having not been raised in a MC club. She stood out with her bossy attitude demanding respect.

MC books tend to have the same theme: club whores, fighting, lying, and demeaning women. This one is no different. These guys do whatever they want to whoever they want. Women are just objects to look at or used to take care of the men. The club, the family, and the brotherhood it’s all the same as in any other MC book just different names. Too many characters to keep track of and which character belongs to whom.
Casa’s character had a one track mind which was pu$$y. This guy talked nonstop about it.
Harlow’s character wanted to prove to herself and Casa that she was worth more than what her body could provide. With a sassy mouth and some knife wielding skills she managed to wrangle in Casa.

I wasn’t feeling these characters. These men were a bunch of ogre babies crying about women and feelings getting pissed off for falling in love.
Cee Cee focused on women drama and who was screwing who rather than club business. This was definitely a more personal side of the business. Cee Cee brought up current topics and incorporated them into the MC club business. Times were changing the way men and women interacted with each other. Cee Cee explored sexual attractiveness between two burly men which was something I had never encountered while reading a MC book.
