I’ve just landed my dream job. It couldn’t be more perfect, I get to be the boss, doing a job I love in a stunning location and the morning view is just an extra treat for a girl like me. What’s the saying: ‘Two birds one stone’ More like ‘One chick and two bones’
The bosses just happen to be two of the hottest guys I’ve ever seen. Navy seals no less. They’re the good guys, sweet and very easy on the eye. And they have taken it on themselves to show me the ropes. The only problem is, I’m not sweet, I’m not good and I’m definitely not a keeper. And these guys are looking for more, they want to find the ‘one’. I’m not even looking for the ‘one at a time’. What is it about men? What I see as a none starter they see as a challenge. They flash a killer smile and tell you ‘things change’. Yes, they do, but I don’t: I’m here for a good time, not a long time.
Dee Palmer lives just outside of London with her husband and (slightly embarrassed) children. Her passion is writing sexy steamy romance stories that will scorch the pages right off your kindle and are guaranteed to make your heart pound. She loves an HEA but isn't afraid to put her readers through the ringer before she delivers.
When not at her desk she can be found either fannying around on Facebook or with her nose stuck in her Kindle. Once in a while when the lights are down she might be spotted about town searching for the best French martinis and throwing some dubious shapes on the dance floor.
Forever Wanted Part Two by Dee Palmer is the final book in the Wanted series and is also Tug, Toxic and Max's story. Max is a sweet young woman who is traveling from place to place, just trying to find where her true home is. Until then she works on farms, helping out as needed. She's a free spirit, sassy and intelligent; then on her 1st night on her new job, she helps with delivering new foals and then she meets her sexy and handsome new bosses Tug and Toxic. The sparks fly right along with the sass. There is major feels and steam in this story. Also expect some drama, angst and danger. I enjoyed the characters, plot , scenery and the chemistry between the main characters. I was glued from start to finish; Max, Tug and Toxic brought instant twists and turns, romance and feels. Ms. Palmer finished up the Wanted series in poignant and sweet romance fashion. I look forward to her next book eagerly.
As Max’s motto states “You’re here for a good time, not a long time” and she is right but wouldn’t it be fun to have someone to have a good time with? Max thinks she’s cursed in some way. Everyone she loves has been taken from her. Now it’s just her, her massive dog Clifford and her Airstream camper living like a gypsy. She does go back home from time to time to visit her grandparents but she is never still. When she gets a lead on a job at a farm she heads that way. She isn’t expecting two sexy guys to greet her. Tug and Toxic are looking for their something more. The way Charge and Finn are and they are drawn to the sexy Max. Tug is still on medical leave he has lots of time to kick around the farm while Toxic is away at work. He shows Max around even though the barns are Pinks domain. They spend their evenings with her just getting to know her. When she finds out they are looking for a forever she puts the brakes on and remains their friend. When tragedy strikes she runs away to heal her broken heart but what Tox and Tug never do is give up on her. Maybe just maybe Max can find love in an unconventional way again like when she was younger and get a best friend from the deal too?
I liked these three. I think maybe my favorite Seal has been Pink and Charge. Tug and Toxic are a menacing duo with a heart of gold. I kind of wish I’d seen more of a courtship between Max and the guys. While this is their book it felt like it was more Finn and tying up loose ends. Almost a lot of plot bunnies hopping around. We see some chapters from Finn as well and how life on the farm is going. There is a heart stopping moment in this book that has you praying for the Seals quick arrival. It has its sexy kinky times going and a lot are a product of Max’s imagination. Forever Wanted Part Two treated us to seeing the happy endings of everyone in the group and how they will go on to be an even stronger unit thanks to the love of three women and four amazing guys with big hearts.
God, I love these navy guys! I’ve enjoy each and every book of this series, and Forever Wanted Part Two was the perfect conclusion.
This book is centred around Tug, Toxic and Max. Max comes along to work for Pink, taking care of his horses while he’s taken leave. The attraction and chemistry is instant between the three ...Could Max be the one for Tug and Toxic? Loved Max, she’s a bit tom-boyish, but so sassy and funny, she can certainly hold her own with these alpha navy boys. What I do love with these books is ...even though each instalment is predominantly about a certain character, is that you get to catch up with all the characters from previous books, they are all involved in each other’s story.
Of course, as always with this author, you get some steamy as hell love scenes. It’s a wonderfully written book, with some beautiful and emotional scenes. This series is definitely one of my favourites from this author.
This was a wonderful conclusion to the Wanted series. Max was convinced she was bad luck and then she met Tug and Toxic when she took a job taking care of Pink’s horses while he was away. This is not an insta love story and there is drama and sadness as well as a happy ever after and that makes for a great read, just make sure you have tissues available. Dee Palmer manages to include everyone in this book and wraps it all up in a bow but she does it in such a way that it is not corny or trite just really satisfying.
This is Tug & Toxic's story, and what a story it is! Max is now at the ranch to help out with the horses while Pink is gone. She is instantly attracted to both of them, but it takes some convincing from the guys to help her overcome her fear of loving them back. Totally enjoyed the build up and the author did a wonderful job of keeping the story going with lots of twist and turns. I laughed and cried and the end was perfect.
This book continues from part one. This is Tug, Toxic and Max's story. The other characters are in this book. Max never wants to feel loss ever again so she drifts from work to work and place to place, avoiding connections. She meets Tug and Toxic when she seeks a job on the ranch. They have an immediate connection that stays on friendship terms. The guys convince Max otherwise.
This was a nice read, better than Part One, but couldn’t remotely keep up with the first book Wanted, which I loved to the moon and back.
I can’t say this was a bad book because it wasn’t, it just took too long to get to the point and there were a few things that weren’t for my personal taste and annoyed the hell out of me. For example the erotic dreams. I just don’t like reading sex scenes over many pages when they are just dreams. Either let the characters have sex or not but don’t just put those dreams into a story just to have any sex scenes included. I only read the first dream in this book but skipped the rest because no matter if they're well written, I generally loath dreams in books.
One would call this a slow burn romance, but although it moved at a snail's pace, there was hardly any romance despite the instant physical attraction between the main characters. They were very vocal and open about it but didn’t act on it for different reasons. Fair enough, but it wasn’t believable.
Max, who lived on the road in her trailer with her best friend Clifford the dog, could have been such a great character but despite her being so open and fun, she was very awkward at times. Since she didn’t do relationships she was honest up front to the guys that she was not the one to make them happy but didn’t hold back with sexual innuendos.
Regarding the guys, where were the hot, sexy and funny men from the first book? I don't know but I feel like all the other books after the first one felt forced and not as passionately written, and I don't mean the sex although it became less and less with each book.
And was it really necessary to give Finn chapters in this book as well? Wasn’t it enough that she butted her way into all the previous stories?! I think I mentioned plenty that I didn’t like her since the second book. I couldn’t stand the mere sight of her ever since and she ruined a great deal of the other men’s stories for me.
If it weren’t for my strong dislike of Finn, I would have loved to read a novella about all of the characters and their lives at the ranch.
Max is a nomad, a young woman who enjoys nothing more than hitching up her camper van and, with her faithful companion, a giant of a dog called Clifford, (who was an absolute darling), travelling the country working on farms wherever she’s needed. She’s a free spirit, sassy and confident, never wanting or needing to put down roots, and I really liked her. Her first introduction to Tug and Toxic is an unconventional one and they certainly get to see more of her than they were expecting! The attraction between the three of them is quite apparent from the beginning but a past tragedy has Max unwilling to risk her heart again. She’s just after a good time, not a long time, whereas Tug and Toxic are ready for something more meaningful and permanent. Max has a pretty fertile imagination and a lot of the steamy times in the beginning are relayed by way of very vivid dreams. I’ve got to say, this does not make those scenes any less scorching believe you me but I would’ve liked to have seen more of a courtship between these three. Nevertheless, I did really enjoy the naughty, flirty banter and the time they spent in each other’s company.
However, it’s all fun and games until a deadly situation arises and everyone gets a big reality check. I loved it when all four Seals came together as a team, and I was holding my breath, by no means certain that they would be in time to prevent a complete disaster occurring. The change of pace gave me goosebumps and a particularly devastating moment had me in floods of tears and reaching for the tissues. I loved the drama and apprehension in this part of the story, the uncertainty that when the dust settled, would any of them emerge unscathed.
Forever Wanted part two is mainly Tug and Toxic’s story, but there’s lots going on here. As the final book in this series, it does tie up various loose ends with previous characters too, including Pink and Buttercup from Forever Wanted part one, who I absolutely loved. Overall, a fitting ending to this very enjoyable series.
'It couldn’t be more perfect, I get to be the boss, doing a job I love in a stunning location and the morning view is just an extra treat for a girl like me. What’s the saying: ‘Two birds one stone’ More like One chick and two bones'
Perfect for the last book in the Wanted series. Toxic and Tug are two hot navy seals who have been left to deal with the horses after Pink left and Finn and Charge had to go fly to England. Max and Clifford (big dog) take the job to help look after the horses, unsuspecting the chemist that is about explode between her and the two boys. After heartache Max doesn't want to explore feelings except those in her dreams....... to continue read this book but maybe start from the beginning to find out everything before diving into this book.
Fabulous book and another great read by Dee Palmer
I will start by saying, I love Dee Palmer. Her books always entertain me and keep my interest from the beginning. I have no idea how I fall in love with every male character in her books! This book, Forever Wanted: Part Two was no exception. This time I had 2 in one book! Max is an incrediblly strong female who takes care of herself (with a little help from Clifford the dog), she overcame tragedy and pulled herself up by her bootstraps and moved on. Then she met Tug and Toxic. She resisted them, except in her dreams. The story developed with love, drama and sadness. But, in the end, Dee Palmer finished the story with a HEA. Sad that this is the end, but very happy with the conclusion.
This is a spectacular book. It is the final book in the Wanted series! It is a job well done by Dee Palmer. She has answered the qestions about Finn, Charge, Pink, Toxic and Tug. It is masterfully done by giving us the information witout taking away from Toxic,Tug and Max's storyline. I loved their story and chemistry. I read this straight thru. It pulls at your heart strings! Tissues were needed. A definite must read! Check it out. So worth it! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance copy of the book from the author.
I always enjoy reading Dee Palmer's books. This one was no different. I loved the end to the Wanted series! Tug and Toxic are funny and sweet and of course UBER HOT AND SEXY. Max is our heroine who lives her life on her terms. The guys are immediately intrigued but she has no interest in settling down with our two marines and being their "more". She has her dog and best friend Clifford and that's all she needs in her life...... or is it? I'm sorry to see this series end but I loved every minute of it. ❤❤❤❤
This is the final story In the Wanted series....and what a book. This is Tug, Toxics and Maxs story. This story has all the feels I loved it. Max goes by her motto " I'm here for a good time not a long time" but Tug and Toxic think differently. Dee spins this story really well, not forgetting to include Finn, Charge, Pink and Buttercup and Hope and ties up the ending beautifully. There was laughter and a few tears. Absolutely loved it
Tug and Toxic make me melt! They're the perfect mix. They have just the right amount of alpha and big heart to keep a girl satisfied.
Then Max comes along and refuses to give up her nomad title even when the sparks fly between them. She's got the sexy, smart independent thing going that drives the guys crazy.
This story throws all the feelings at you. From a first love to heartbreak and to second chances. You get to see what some of your favorites are doing and what the future holds for them all.
Oh wow, this book runs along the same timeline for majority of the book as wanted part one; obviously very different stories as they are in different states. I couldn’t put this book down, Dee has a way of keeping you enthralled from the very beginning, ensuring that there are plenty of twists and turns and some wtf moments. I’m not going to lit, tissues were needed with this one! I absolutely loved all three characters in this book, and I’m so glad everything worked out
This is an amazing final book in the series. I loved how it answers all my questions without taking anything away from Tug, Toxic and Maxs story. Loved this from beginning to end. Its a definite weepy but in a lovely way. Tissues required. Cannot wait for the next book from this author... a must read!!
Make sure you read part one first. I recommend you read all the Wanted books as they are oh so good.
This is Tug, Toxic and Max’s story....and what a story it is too.
I really liked Max. A sassy strong willed girl that will speak her mind. The attraction between these three is hot.
We also get a great storyline and get to see previous characters which I absolutely loved. This author has done a fabulous job on this story. Can’t wait to read more from her.
After suffering from a personal tragedy in her life, Max and Clifford hit the road. With her trailer hooked up to her truck, she and Clifford travel the country, like a gypsy, from ranch to ranch wherever her next job takes her. Never to settle down or lose her heart again. She confident, independent and love that sassy mouth. Clifford is not only her best friend and confidant but her protector. He's so adorable! When Max meets Tug and Toxic, at the 'Navy Seal stud ranch', little does she know that these two sexy, alphas are about to rock her world. A good time. Little fun. No heart involved. Sizzling scenes. Finn is alone when danger strikes. Max and Clifford are desperately searching for her. Until... Tragedy strikes again. (Tissues) Oh my broken heart! The Forever Wanted Series will suck you in with its unexpected twists and turns craving more of these sexy, Navy Seals. I love this series as well as Dee Palmer's Choices Trilogy.
I think this book rounded off the series well. Not going to lie, menage isn't my trope and I try to avoid them where possible... with that said I did like Max's view on life and her carefree attitude to live each day to it's fullest! Tug and Toxic have always had the closest bond out of the four guys so it was only fitting that this route was going to be their HEA.
I did reach for the tissues at one point! All told this is a lighter, fun and frolics ending to what has been an enchanting series!
I binge read this last book in mere hours, & WOW!! I loved how the author brought this series together. She originally released 1 Really GREAT book.. but then with the demand of her readers, she brilliantly morphed that into 4 INCREDIBLY intriguing, funny, & emotional Smash HIT story lines!! I recommend this whole series by Dee Palmer to anyone who believes in true love 🔥🥰
Dee Palmer, I can't believe that this series has come to an end.
I loved every bit of it, from the first time you introduced us to Finn and the Navy Seals until you brought me to this brilliant ending I was hooked. If you have ever wanted to read a series with a HEA, but with an awful lot of twists and turns and bumps in the road this is the series for you. The characters were well written and they made you like them and shout from the rooftops when things weren't going their way.
Forever Wanted Part Two, and it stars Max, Tug, Toxic this time around. Max is sweet girl with wanderlust, as she's searching for a place to call home. While she's working on figuring that out, she spends her time working at various farms throughout her travels. She ends up with Tug & Toxic as her bosses, and this is when the sparks start flying big time. Like the chemistry is so potent, I thought they were going to light MY sheets on fire. On top of that, there are f-bomb worthy twists thrown in, to make for unexpected danger, with a side of drama & angst for good measure. So this story took me for a roller-coaster ride that I never saw coming to be honest. Ms. Palmer definitely kept me on my toes, and I wasn't able to put it down until every last page was experienced in one sitting. With all of that being said, just do yourself a solid & one click this bad boy! It's so worth it, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This book is an absolute rollercoaster, taking the reader through just about every emotion possible. From the sheer frustration of wanting to knock some sense into some characters, to sharing their utter heartbreak, there is enough the keep you transfixed.
All of the books in this series (and its extended family) can be read as standalone stories but you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t throw yourself in right at the beginning.
Max is a great character, despite being irksome at the same time. Tug and Toxic’s stories round out the family perfectly and brings the circle to a close.
A steamy but stormy read that proves that self doubt can be overcome. Highly recommended 5 star read!
Her beloved pup, Clifford by her side, Max has her dream job on a stud farm. Max has spent her 1st night helping deliver a foal only to greet her two bosses, Tug and Toxic, as she is showering in her little bitty panties. Max's motto is she’s ‘there for a good time, not a long time' so she will see how she likes this new job. Grab a box of tissues and you'll have a happy yet heart breaking read. Dee Palmer has a habit of answering questions on all the 'Wanted Series' characters in this final installment. I’m sorry to see these characters and their unique stories come to an end. Very enjoyable series.
Received as a gift from the author via her "fan club" group, I LOVED this book. My honest opinion is it is just simply fantabulous. Ive read the entire series, the characters are strong and believable, and its sad to see it (the series) come to an end, but then Ms Palmer's imagination is overly fertile... so.....
I highly recommend checking out all of her books, they are NOT for the faint of heart, however, you're in for a thrill ;-)
Gah!! This book was amazing! She has created a world that I need to live in! Like now! The way she intertwined the characters was so good!! I loved the characters, setting and everything about this story. I will always read the books by this author!!
This is Tug and Toxics story. It is one of romance, steaminess and convincing. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you begging for more from this author!!
Absolutely fantastic book to end to a brilliant series....i loved reading every minute of it. This book tells the story most readers have been waiting for, the story of Tug,Toxic and Max. It has a fantastic cover, great characters and the storyline is so wonderfully written. Dee's done a great job shame it has to end there wish there's was more ....
The conclusion to the Wanted Series is a sexy, sweet story with a few twists and turns thrown in. Max, Tug, and Toxic heat up the pages. This story has a bit of everything and of course everything you expect from Ms. Palmer. A great way to end the series.
I love this series so much!! This is the final book and it was a perfect ending to an amazing series. If you’re looking for something different to read I highly recommend you get to one clicking and as always happy reading. 📖
