*** Reviewing “EX-LOVER NEW BOSS” ***
Zander’s friend, Scott, was celebrating his 30th birthday and guilted Zander into attending. He hated partying but purchased a sports coat he wouldn’t mind getting ruined with drinks getting spilled over it by the group of jobless losers. Unfortunately among the crowd, Scott’s sister, Danielle, is also at the party. Zander and Dani had been high school sweethearts who broke up when Zander graduated and left for college. After having too much to drink, Zander tells Scott he will provide Dani a job in his company, even though he has strict rules for his employees and they might drive each other crazy. Will this work out? Or is it heading for disaster?
The reader will love the banter and the wild chemistry between Zander and Dani. The story line moves at a good pace with humorous situations.
*** Reviewing “BEST FRIEND HOT ROOMMATE” ***
Heather was a therapist, currently in the middle of a session with a client. The client was complaining about her husband who was so controlling, wanting to raise their daughter the way HE felt was best. Heather’s thoughts drifted to her son’s father who ran off and abandoned her and their newborn, Max. She heard the baby crying for the second time now, awake again from his nap. She jumped up and said she would be right back, right in the middle of Mindy’s sentence. Annoyed, Mindy suggested they reschedule and that maybe Heather needed some time off.
Heather’s roommate, Rachel Philips, was driving her crazy, dragging in new guys every week and moaning loudly out in the living room. She missed her job at Initial Concept, but she couldn’t handle that stress while coping with a baby; and she was too broke to afford a nanny. So she fell back on her therapist career, not really wanting to listen to people’s problems, but it was what she had trained for and earned her some money she could earn at home.
When Rachel came in at 4 p.m. with her guy-of-the-week, she had been drinking. When Neil left, Heather and she got into an argument about her lifestyle. She wasn’t happy that Rachel made her feel how pathetic her own life was becoming. But Rachel told her that her best friend Bradley Coleman was drooling over her and always watching her -- and she hadn’t even noticed! He couldn’t possibly be interested in her, could he?
Brad was in competition with his father over securing a deal with a very high-profile client, and his father called him to gloat and rub in the defeat when he won the project. Throwing his phone against the wall, Brad had his assistant get two tickets for him and a female sex buddy to go to Spain, where he owned a chain of restaurants. Going there soothed him when his father got him riled up. He would have preferred taking Heather and Max with him, but he didn’t think she would go. However, when he phoned her, he could swear she was sniffling and was acting strangely. He knew she was upset over something and went to see her. He wanted her, but he wasn't willing to open himself emotionally to a woman, and he didn’t want to lose her friendship if it went wrong. Ironically, Heather couldn’t stop thinking of Brad either – but wouldn’t put their friendship at risk in case a relationship didn’t work. They valued their friendship. But would they miss out on something even better by taking a chance on their feelings?

She hated him and wanted nothing more to do with any man. Her work as a copywriter and her 5-year-old daughter Lily was all she had left. But one day her friend Deb excitedly ran over to her desk and told her that the sales copy she had written the week before had earned their customer $300,000 dollars already and the boss wanted to see her! Could she get a promotion from this? She most definitely could use the money! But all he wanted was to say congratulations and that was all. So she took the rest of the day off.
Arthur Bridge was waiting for his ex-wife Sophie to pick up their daughter, but she was late again. So he brought up the MeetMe app to distract himself. They ads were all so fake, until he got to ‘Jessica Clayton’ saying only that she was a single mom in Brooklyn. Very unpretentious. With his conditional green card expiring in a year, he knew he wouldn’t be around long; but he really didn’t want to leave his daughter when he had to return to Canada. His cousin wanted him to take over his business and retire; but he didn’t feel he could since he only had a year left here.
Arthur sent a message to Jessica and she replied back. As they got to know each other better, it turned out they had some people they knew in common. And they started to figure out a way that each of them could get the things they needed to solve their problems. A fake marriage would be the solution! But would it stay fake? Or is their chemistry as real as it appears to be? Maybe this is the family they were meant to be?
Cute story with likable characters. The story is well written and very believable in this current environment of social media and dating apps! Find out how things turn out for these lonely people who just want to do the right thing for their families. I think you’ll enjoy it!

I have read all of the books in this boxed set, and they all of one thing in common.... a hot alpha and a woman strong enough to stand up to him and be the woman he needs. The books are sexy, hot and very entertaining.
EX-LOVER NEW BOSS
This book is second chance romance at it’s best. Zander and Dani fell in love as teenagers, and split up over a misunderstanding. Now years later, he is a wealthy businessman, who also happens to be a devoted single dad. Dani is in need of a job, and Zander becomes her boss, ( though he can’t remember how that happened). He makes her his personal driver since he doesn’t really have a position open for her. As they get reacquainted, sparks begin to fire up again, and they each see new sides of each other. They both start to bring out the best of the other. Zander becomes less of a rigid stuffed shirt and much more human and approachable. She becomes more confident and reaches for her dreams, instead of smothering them. Dani’s sassiness and exuberance are just what Zander and his daughter need in their lifes. Though the relationship has its speed bumps, fate gives them a chance at happily ever after. Well done, Summer!
BEST FRIEND HOT ROOMMATE
This friends to lovers romance is well worth the read. It features an oh so sexy billionaire businessman and a struggling single mother who gets under his emotional guards. Heather and Brad start off as friends. He offers her support and a sounding board as she adjusts to being a single mother with a job she has begun to hate. When her relationship with her current roommate becomes tenuous, Brad offers her a place to stay. Heather is reluctant to agree, not wanting to put a cramp in his player lifestyle. He reassures her that she and her son won’t interfere in anything...he doesn’t bring his hookups to his home, ever. After she and her son move in, both Heather and Brad struggle to control their sexual attraction to no avail. They become much more intimate and both begin to realize that they want something more from the other...commitment. Both face crises in their careers and a series of misunderstandings and miscommunications puts a damper on the budding relationship. Even their friendship becomes strained and Heather moves out. Is Brad really ready to commit to one woman? Can they salvage their relationship and make a future together?
This book deftly holds the reader’s attention as this couple’s story develops and evolves. Read and enjoy!

This is a box set that has a little bit of everything. Second chances, fake fiancés, friends to lovers and “enemies” to lovers.
-Ex-Lover New Boss-This was a good second chance romance. Zander has been best friends with Scott forever, and when they got older Dani caught Zander's eye. They see each other again after ten years. When her brother gets her hired to work at Zander's company, she is not sure if this is a good idea, but decides to do it. She realizes that Zander’s stiffness hasn't changed and he still has a stick up his butt. 😂 They also realize that their feelings for each other never went away. There are some parts that will make you laugh and also want to smack Zander. There is so much tension between them that when it bursts you want to watch out. Zander may be strict at work, but Dani sees how he is around his daughter and it is sweet. Zander's mother adds to the story. She is so hilarious and loves that Dani is back in Zander's life. She also knows that Dan I is the perfect person for her son and granddaughter. This is a good story with some wonderful characters.
-Best Friend, Hot Roommate-This was a really good read. Heather and Bradley became best friends after her baby’s father leaves her. Brad is always there for Heather whenever she needs to talk. When Heather needs to move to a new place, Brad offers to have her and her son move into his home. She is hesitant because she has feelings for Bradley. Neither of them have expressed the feelings they have for each other due to their friendship. Neither wants to lose the other as a friend. One night lines are crossed. With miscommunications, Heather moves out of Brad’s home and in with her sister. This has a good storyline and some great characters. Brad and Heather have such a strong connection, due to them being such great friends and their chemistry is hot. There is drama, miscommunication, some more drama and of course hot and steamy bits.

She wants to get the promotion at her job so she can have her daughter going to school closer to home. These two both need help and when she is signed up to a dating website unknowingly by her parents, Arthur is the only one who has replied. They realize they have a couple people in common. She is the sister to his best friend’s girl. He also hit on her sister at one time. Arthur is related to her boss and he wants to give the company to Arthur. They come up with a plan to be engaged and get married. However, when you have something start as fake, it usually becomes real. This will have you laughing and shaking your head and wanting to reach through and shake them. Arthur and Jessica both have an instant connection and they have hot hot chemistry. Like with any romance book, there is some drama.
-Another Shot- These next two take place at Christmas and deal with two brothers.
This is about Sylvester(Sly) and Sheila. These two have known each other since the were ten and eleven. She was the troublemaker and he was the nerd. When they got older Sly ended up breaking Sheila’s heart. Now years later he is home and he bumps into Sheila. This could be the second chance he needs and realizes he wants.
-Brother’s Best Friend-This is about Gordon, Sylvester’s brother, and Emma. Gordon is a pro football player and best friends with Emma’s brother. Emma has had a crush on Gordon, but knows about his playboy ways. They had started somewhat of a relationship, but once her brother noticed, he talked to them separately and they have stayed away from each other since the. They still like each other and one things turns to another. Will it be one night or will it become more?
These are both stories about second chances. These were great stories with great characters. There will be some drama as well as some sexy scenes.

When her best friend Bradley offers her and her son a place to stay until she can find a place of her own she accepts.
You feel Brad and Heather's chemistry immediately even though they both try to deny their feelings. I really loved this story. The emotions jump off the page and you feel part of the story. The characters are amazing and the storyline flows seamlessly. I highly recommend this book.

This book is smoking hot! The chemistry between Arthur and Jessica is hot from the start. I love all the characters and Jessica's boss may be a jerk, but his interference in her and Arthur's life makes him more human. I highly recommend this book and love Summer Brooks more each book of hers that I read.

Gordon is a NFL Quaterback known for his temper and playboy lifestyle and the last person his best friend wants near his sister.
I love this book. Gordon 8s so full of himself, but you still love him. This book 8s steamy hot and at times funny. I died at this - "Alright,” I relented. “But I’m not wearing one of your reindeer sweaters. Roger could look like a human stable all he wants. I’m not going down with him.” Highly recommend!!!

Dani is moving to the city after graduating college so she is staying with her brother Scott until she can settle into her own place and find a job. ARC review For honest review ex lover new boss-this is a very cute story of second chances when zander goes to his best and birthday party. He sees scott sister and his teen age girlfriend the girl he always loved. Best friend got roomate-This is a beautiful story of Heather and Bradley who go from friends to a relationship and the friendships around them. Single dad fake fiance -Jessica and Arthur meet on a dating app called meetme but find out that they had friends and family they know together keep having fate play a role in their relationship. Very cute. Brothers best friend-Sly and Sheila grew up together when he left he broke her heart .Sly is a billionaire and a jerk years later Sheila has a son from Dr divorce . These two have a love hate relationship cute . Gordon and emm a he is a football player for the raiders. Emma is the sister of Roger his team mate . This is a cute Christmas story.

An amazing anthology!
Firstly I would like to thank the author for amalgamating these books ❤️.
Each book/story is just as, if not more, enjoyable as the previous one.
My favourite style of storyline always finishes on a HEA, with no threads left unwoven.
Most of these came to the "ideal" conclusions for me, so I was riding on a constant high...... but the last two left me kind of hanging.
Ugh! What happened next?!
Having said that, I loved each and every story and am now a DEFINITE fan of this author ❤️!

The first three books were all right. I noped out of Brother's Best friend when Gordon asked Emma to call him daddy during sex. I also noped out of Another Shot when Sheila asked Sly to choke her during sex. Both of those are huge turn-offs for me and I just didn't care to read further.
