Excellent account

Written by a Marine officer/historian that was there. Authentic and well researched. Well written with excellent maps and photos. SemperFi!

During the Korean Confict, when Chinese regular army troops interviened, the Marine 1st division escaped to the seacoast even thought surrounded by over twelve divisions of professional Chinese troops. The Marines brought out their dead, wounded, equipment, and US army troops during the dead of winter.
