This is one of my all-time favorite folk-tale collections. Not for kids or the bashful, but highly recommended for reading in bed with friends. The tales are always instructive and hilarious. I have both editions, the 1975 edition and the 1997 one. It's been a while since I've read the book, but I recall there are actually some differences between them, and the older edition contains some slightly more risqué language in a few places.

A good collection of stories from Tibet. The folks are earthy and the stories not for the children. If anyone thinks the llamas in Tibet are holier than thou this book will dispell that.

A fun read.

A short but naughty collection of tall tales about a certain Tibetan trickster named Uncle Tompa. Be forewarned, this is NOT a children's book and there are sexual themes told in plain sexual language.
