Kindly written and told by Kevin Perkins, the story of T.J. Smith, King of Australia's racing industry for over thirty years, reminds us that there are no excuses. Triumph over hard times and adversity belongs to those who earn it, and when earned honestly, big money, big attitudes and those with big opinions of self can not take it away. Mr. smith . . . it's been an honour.

Inspirational story, rags to riches. A very good book.
