I always look for compliments to give in my more negative book reviews. This is because I like to try -not to sugarcoat a review, that is not my intention- but to soften the blow of the harsh truth I want to share. This time, I couldn't think of any way to soften the blow; except through saying I'd heard of this book before and thought it seemed helpful. I felt some answers in the book were not clearly or fully answered, and I was very disappointed the book did not go into much more detail in the treatment chapter; because although I received plenty of information about therapy types and medications, those are extremely basic treatment options. What about certain types of exercise that are helpful? Or could the book have gone more in depth in information about aromatherapy? This bothers me because things that have helped me, such as journaling, aromatherapy and vigorous exercise, I really want others to learn about too! This book just wasn't all that helpful, to be frank.
