Richard Michael "Kip" Carpenter (14 August 1929 – 26 February 2012) was an English screenwriter, author, and actor who created a number of British television series, including Robin of Sherwood and Catweazle.
I really liked this book. I have not taken the time to read any of Thomas Hardy, but after reading this book and John Fowles I feel that I really need to. I did take "The Mayor of Castlebridge" out of my library, but I have no idea if I will get to it this summer or not. I started reading some magazines that have been taking up valuable space in my car so we shall see.
