The seventh title in a new fantasy adventure series for young readers.
The Hidden Dragon continues a new series of adventures written specifically for readers ages 8-12. Sized to fit the young reader market, the series follows the adventures of three children who, through their heroic deeds, become members of the Order of the Knights of the Silver Dragon.
Lisa Trumbauer has written early-learner books for Scholastic's Jump Start series and published numerous other activity books, picture books, and novels for middle-school readers, including the New York Times bestseller A Practical Guide to Dragons.
The young Knights of the Silver Dragon return in another fun story that will have kids flipping pages late into the night. In The Hidden Dragon, Kellach, Driskoll and Moyra finally get to meet their first dragon, outmaneuver a sinister former cleric, trek through the dangerous mountains, and make what is wrong right.
Lisa Trutkoff Trumbauer weaves a magical tale that adds another dimension to the previous six books in that the young knights finally understand how important it is to continue the legacy of the Knights of the Silver Dragon. The story is fast-paced and a lot of fun. It is great to have a former foe return and cause more havoc.
Any fantasy lover will enjoys this book, especially if you have been following the series. I look forward to seeing what will happens in Book 8, The Silver Spell by Anjali Banerjee
