When you find your dream guy, you can't let him get away. . . .
Picture this: you're stuck in a raft on your weekend class trip with the cutest guy in school and the Junior Miss runner-up. You've had a crush on him forever, and you've hated her (for semi-shallow reasons) just as long. Neither of them seems to notice you're there (of course). But you know that somehow you've got to get his attention and snag him from her clutches. And then you get this wild idea. . . .
Just reread this book because it was the second book I ever read in the whole of my life, give or take a good 20 years ago and I was really interested to see how well it stands the test of time.
And you know what? I still very much enjoyed it. Obviously it's geared toward a much younger audience, and yeah okay, there's probably a good but of nostalgia but I still found it a charming little gem!
It's a good time for a fast, simple, fluff of a read!
I used to read these books in high school. Years ago I picked some up at a bag sale or books by the pound sale. Due to my move I have not gotten a new library card yet, so I'm trying to read some things that are already on my shelf.
The book was fun in that I enjoyed reading from both character's point of view, however the main character and her weight issues drove me nuts. A fun book for what it is.
