A very informative book with impressive information.
I'm not too impressed with the writing style, as at times it awkwardly tries to seem poetically descriptive of certain locations that the author probably visited (I wouldn't know why else there would be such detailed description).
I do appreciate that the author has done plenty of research in order to write the book. He liberally mentions the names and contributions of doctors and many legitimate sources on the matter, and also has an extensive bibliography included in the book... but I also get the impression that the extensive research does not guarantee the author will only derive sound conclusions.
Although not completely on the new age mentality, at times the author seems to lean toward the superstitious implications of biofeedback... especially when he talks about ESP. Of course this may be to cater to people that are interested how biofeedback relates to such things, such as myself; but such mentions might turn off absolute materialists that are too skeptical to even consider that department.
Impressive research, impressive information, not impressed by the conclusions nor the writing.
