Six weeks later, Dink and Laci are adjusting to life as college students at Boston University. But with Laci fighting the demons of her past addiction at the hands of the South Bronx Bitches, and Dink struggling to adapt to the legit life away from his former drug empire, will their pasts keep them from moving forward? Smurf has taken over the South Bronx in Dink s absence. This was a good read, but something missing...Not as good as first book. Felt the ending could have been more positive.

This is an okay urban fiction book but what bugs me is that it could have been a lot better. Lennox has an obvious talent for story-telling and with certain adjustments she could really live up to her potential.
There is a serious lack of editing, as I seem to find with a lot of self-published and urban fiction books, and this takes a lot away from a book. No one wants to watch a DVD that freezes and no one wants to listen to a CD that skips. No one wants a car that breaks down once you get on the highway. So why do authors find it okay to put out low quality products? And why do readers accept it?
The story of Laci and Dink didn't make sense at times, along with the rest of the SBB's and other characters. It just didn't mesh the way it should have to make the story flow and I found myself with a lot of questions.... which of course were never answered.
I did love the ending however - that was the best part of Crack Head 2 by far. I would read another book by Lennox but I hope that someone gets through to her the importance of quality - the importance of making sure a product with your name on it is good quality. If she gets that right and works a little harder I honestly think she could move towards the top.

Well I finally read it and it was good, I'm glad Lacie got her revenge and all but personally I feel she was stupid for keeping a baby that could possibly be addicted to crack, and further more she needed to stay with Dink, they could have worked out if she stayed, I don't know that's just my personal opinion. That is why this book gets 4 stars unlike Crack Head 1.

This series is a good suggestion to all young girls. It really shows them by falling to peer pressure and not being a leader can really mess up their lives. The part I didn't like was the ending for Laci and Dink.

Well written story. This issues in this novel are very complex and it is not an easy read at times. Would not recommend for younger readers. It really gets you thinking and appreciating what you have. I thought the ending was a bit harsh. I'll have to read the first one now.

Did not like the ending at all. It was very much not the happy ending I was looking forward to for Laci and Dink.

I hated the end of the this book... honestly her insecurities ruined their relationship because he loved her regardless of any faults that she had. he fell in love with her before during and after the crack and she couldn't get over and out of her own head to see that.

Living life with her treacherous past leads Laci and her savior, Dink, to the cool halls of a college campus to pretend there is a brighter future for the ex-addict and former drug king pin. Both must adjust to the reality that you can take someone from the grimy streets of the five boroughs of New York, but you will not be able to pry the street light from inside of them. Trust issues become major factors in the progress of their relationship. Dink's destiny of loving the only girl he fell in love with, appeared to be false but true to her and true to his game.

While still running the streets from a distance, via phone connection, others on his team learn quickly that leaving his whole empire to Smurf was a wise idea. Smurf battles his own problems with his mother and the past of not having his father school him to the game of hard knocks. Instead Dink trades Smurf’s mystery of a father in for his play cousin Dirty to finish schooling his street protégé into a legendary king pin. In the midst of losing the love from his mother, Smurf tries to find love in his ladies including Tonnette the leader of the SBB (South Bronx Bitches), the mastermind behind Laci’s addiction. Karma comes back to search for Tonnette, Shaunna, Monique and unfortunately Crystal, Dink's ex-girlfriend who's pushing up daisies. Lucky for her she doesn't have to feel the wrath that was promised to the SBB's by Laci. In the back of their minds they fear her return but the streets say she is dead along with the other girls that fell victim to their jealous and malicious acts. With having an informant police officer on the squad for Smurf, Dink doesn't have to suffer any further than the slight break from Laci while she copes with her life’s newest issue: Carrying the life of a loved one. Drama doesn't stop there with the obvious cliff hanger, Crackhead III look's like it will be a bright ending to this saga.

What I liked most about this book?
The story had formula. It carried weight and consistency.

What I didn't like about this book?
It was a little slow at first. There were a couple of gaps in the storyline. The revenge was shallow and the surprise was just okay. Dink and Laci's characters never developed into a destiny.

How could the author improve this book?
By adding more to the ending. Develop Dink and Laci's relationship. It would make the whole point of unconditional love stand on its own. The story needed more; both sequels should have been only one book. Overall Lisa Lennox has substance in her writing. Great story and excellent lesson to share.

It was interesting reading the second book by this author. Laci the main character, is back for revenge. Her old pals "The Bronx Bitches" don't see it coming. The book was pretty good, but I feel that the last few chapters were rushed and not creatively thought though. A quick summary ended the novel instead of a storyline. The author however was good at getting the reader to emphasize with the characters. In the end I had compassion for one of the bad girls because she had changed and was trying to get her life together. Can a leopard changes his stripes? Yes, but Monique had to go down anyway with her crew. Overall, good writing skill and a strong storyline.

THIS BOOK WAS SLOWER THAN THE FIRST ONE :( . . . read the first book and felt that it was well written and had a beleivable plot..however this second book was BULL..Laci took no responsibilty for her own circumstances and spent the whole book pointing blame at the SSB"s this book was overrated...I wanted more substance and to see Laci accept some level of personal accountability..I thought the book was a little slow for me and I expected more..If you are interested in knowing how Crackhead I ends up..borrow the II part from a friend and keep your money

it was still pretty much predictable in some parts. other parts showed her getting her head in the game and getting her well deserved revenge. I liked the fact she got her education and kept going. I also like the fact that she kept it real and never got rid of the watch her daddy gave her. I also like the fact that she got her mother relationship back right so they can live in the world a lot better. laci got back up and got a backbone and showed the world you gon learn today and just because im mixed dosent mean im stupid. she was at first but then she got up out it though.

I really enjoyed this book but I didn't like the ending. I understood why the main character got revenge on the girls but I didn't like the fact that she decided to keep her baby. That would be a constant reminder of what was done to her plus now her and Dink aren't together. Maybe another book will follow.

im glad she found her backbone and stood up for herself in this one. im glad she kicked the habit and moved on with her life as well.
im also glad she shed some light on the mixed race folks as well because the media and other folks make it seem like they are innoncent and do no wrong and that is not the truth.

The first book was better. Don't get me wrong the book was real good until it got to the end. I don't understand why she would have a crack baby and then break up with her good and faithful boyfriend Dink. Would have given it 5 stars but that ending.

I thought Crackhead 2 was a great follow-up book. I felt Laci's revenge was justified against her SBB crew who wronged her. Tonette, Monique & Shaunna punishments although harsh, were well deserved. Great read!

This was an okay book. Again, I was uncomfortable and mad with the characters. It was a good sequel, but I didn't like how it ended. You spent so much time rooting for Laci and Dink.
