My rating is maybe more like a 3.5, but it was really hard to get through this book. It started off interesting in the first chapter, then it kinda went off into long paragraphs of description and not a lot of dialogue. I didn't feel that I could connect with the characters' feelings very well. After Avital came into the picture things picked up a little bit, but after a bit it died back down again. Ugh, it dragged so much I almost didn't finish it. So 3 or 3.5 stars. To me, it was a disappointment for Biblical Fiction.
