I knew this book had bad reviews but I gave it a shot. The brief introduction on Charles Fort though not brief did a decent job.The author briefly explains the idea of a cosmic force which is the Cosmic Joker but not enough to fully understand it. My biggest problem are the stories the author picked. Many stories have nothing to do with the Cosmic Joker. Other stories are repeated in almost every book on coincidences, mysteries, and the unknown. The author seems not to understand the topic he chose to write about and it shows.

It too long to get into this book. I was also trying to figure out with the title what exactly the book was about. It was just off.
