In ELT class,we read One World,One Heart by Susan Polis Schotz.It is a collection of poems about peace,love, and friendship in the world.My favorite poem is

THE FIGHT
The heart wands to love
yet we hate
The heart wants to understand
yet we are confused
The heart wants equality
yet we try to dominate one another
THe heart wants peace
yet we fight
The heart wants to give
yet we are geedy
The heart wants to help
yet we de stroy
The heart wants to care
yet we are insensitive
If olny the heart
was a little stronger.

I like this poem becuase it can be helpful,and peaceful.

I've read it a while ago, but I still remember that it made me wonder about life. It also made me want to think in a more creative light. I still can remember the colorful pages that had a texture like no other page that I felt. The smell of the book brought a warmth, and the words...it opened a new world for me.
