I read this book over 20 years ago, and have never forgotten it. It does deserve 4 stars, maybe even more.
That said, I read about 4 or 5 books by this author since she's a fantastically good writer and this was the deal-breaker book. I felt manipulated by the author, and in shock and horror at the ending. This is the ultimate tear-jerker Feel Bad book. It is also the best Pay-back book if you like Greek tragedy kind of stories.

I never would read another book by this author again.

The story is about a young man who drives under the influence of every drug known to mankind and wipes out ALMOST an entire family in a motor vehicle accident while walking away virtually unhurt himself. The mother of the family of victims is the only survivor, and somehow she and the main character end up getting married a year or two later, since she is now free, her husband and 3 children having been killed in the crash. Sound creepy? Just read on to find out how that relationship ends up working out.

Fortunately for you, this gem is out of print. Can't imagine why.

Ingen favorit, intressant inledning och avslut men för lång mittensektion som var ganska innehållslös.
