A really great book covering a lot that is usually left unsaid by other books on the subject. Lindsell is biblical in his approach and straight forward in his writing - he pulls no punches. All books on prayer seem to cover the Lord's prayer and while this book does it as well, it does well to expand upon the aspects of it.
Lindsell also covers in the manner to pray and also why prayers go unanswered. This book should be a key read to those who write books on prayer. So few want to cover the hardships of prayer. The book could have covered what to look for in answer to prayer and what, if anything, should be done to listen for God (and in what manner). This would have made this book a must have over all over books on the subject I've read. It is a worthwhile book that focus, reexamine, and encourages an active, vibrant prayer life. Final Grade - A
